Ed Adami had been a friend of Baudin the now dishonorably discharged Seal. It seems they shared some very archaic / old fashioned, ultra conservative ideas of an Omegas place in the world – primarily at home raising the children. Unfortunately the one man he wanted did not want children – how were they going to revolve that monumental problem? At first it was easier to ignore it as they finally consummated their relationship.
What is the nature of space and time? How do we fit within the universe? How does the universe fit within us? There’s no better guide through these mind-expanding questions than acclaimed astrophysicist and best-selling author Neil deGrasse Tyson. But today, few of us have time to contemplate the cosmos. So Tyson brings the universe down to Earth succinctly and clearly, with sparkling wit, in digestible chapters consumable anytime and anywhere in your busy day.
Dane’s company is making headlines for all the wrong reasons, as rumors of nefarious activity have begun to fly; and though he is a strong, commanding and charismatic alpha, even Dane cannot stand against the slanderous onslaught that threatens to take down his business.
Spy pressed the mask to his face and the gas and air was turned on. He breathed in the nitrous oxide, taking quick deep breaths. But he still felt the same amount of pain, if not more so than he did before.
The pain was starting to leave Dean but also the warmth was and Dean felt strangely empty. He licked his lips as his eyes set on Castiel, who was practically sitting on Dean’s legs, his hands slowly pulling out of the bright, shining stomach.
Joel watched the egg crown before it stopped, slipping back in when the man stopped pushing. Joel was getting frustrated as if the man didn’t birth this egg soon, the other eggs would pile up behind him and sometimes the eggs would come out not one by one, but in twos or in threes.
There is no single accepted set of ‘rules’ for stories written in the genre, but they usually includes strong themes of dominance and submission, and possessiveness. Most stories focus on Alphas bonding and mating with Omegas, and there is a strong use of the “soul mate” trope as well as the concept of sex (or mating) as a biological imperative. Some stories will build alternate societal and cultural traditions, while others insert the Omegaverse conventions into an otherwise ‘real world’ or canonical story story.
a light-handed approach to regulation by hazel. (Hockey RPF, Jonny/Patrick) Explores a lot of the societal dynamics of an omegaverse world without succumbing to them, and is hands-down my favorite ABO fic.
A uterine transplant was performed in Saudi Arabia in 2000, from one woman to another, but it did not result in a pregnancy. This advance drew speculation about the possibility of a male receiving a womb transplant, and bearing a child from the transplanted womb.
Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life – steady boyfriend, close family – who has never been farther afield than her tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex-Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life – big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel – and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is. Will is acerbic, moody, bossy – but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected.
The logical thing to do would’ve been to leave. Castiel should have started planning their flight as soon as Mary Campbell found them. Their belongings are few, there’s been little fighting since campaign season passed, and the security of the Duke’s park is a small price to give up for security against the Campbells.
Rowan changes from a man seeking easy money without thought of consequences. He is uncertain about becoming a father but loving Derrick helps him to look forward to being a good mate and provider for his family. Derrick sees through Rowan’s roughness to the tender man who takes such good care of him when Rowan shares story about the well that just reinforces he has the right man. Great characters and well written story full of action and love. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
The connection between Rocco and Kade is undeniable, especially once they go on their first date, the location for their date was perfect. Things between them move along fast but not in a bad way, it’s just natural for them to feel so connected to each other. Rocco doesn’t tell Kade about his reasons to find a mate and it comes to bite him during their second date when Skye shows up with the intention to ruin everything between them.
However, as I thought about the extra “hitch” (or lack of one) in this story a bit more, if I think of omega with a penis but no balls who takes on typically female roles, “male” might not immediately jump to my mind, but it is a very gender fluid character. So it took little time to wrap my mind around, but I am warming up to viewing this story as a cool traditional gender bending/more gender fluid setting, almost like a paranormal transgender romance. If the omega identifies as male, even if he has some characteristics more often associated traditionally feminine traits, it’s still a male/male story to me, perhaps just with a nice bit of transgender/gender bending flavor to challenge my assumptions.
Niso shook his head quickly. “You have to push it out, the head’s out Francis!” He said, reaching into the water and holding the baby’s head still with one hand, his other holding Francis’ swollen stomach. “Push!” “Tch..!” Francis gritted his teeth. He quickly drew breath, biting back a cry as his anal muscles contracted, sealing itself around the baby’s neck. The next time he pushed, a fresh peal of pain bloomed in his anus from when both the baby’s shoulders were battering against his opening. The grip on his knees weakened as shooting pains radiated up and down his spine, his teeth baring as he pushed, hard. “Just one more..” Francis muttered darkly then heaved, feeling the baby’s shoulder slide all the way out before it was followed by the rest of its body. Dazed, he fell back and panted in exhaustion. Niso quickly caught the baby and pulled it out of the water, surprised to see it didn’t have an umbilical cord. He held it close to himself and looked at Francis, shock on his face that Francis had just given birth.
The book is very good, liked that either one was sure what was going to happen only that a baby was made and now they had to work on what to do now and one had a hard time in believing any of it was true that where the fun comes in, how they get to love one an other, want more of her books
Eren’s head lolled forward, his mates long hair plastered to the back of his neck, and Levi initially didn’t understand why his mate was making a low grunting noise. The baby boy in his arms let out a small cry and Eren’s whole body shook as he started to sob

The concept appears frequently as a comedic gag in movie and television programs. In Monty Python’s 1979 film, Life of Brian, there is a political satire scene in which a character demands that any man has a “right to have babies if he wants them,” which is ridiculed as impossible. In the BBC science fiction comedy series Red Dwarf, the main character, Lister, becomes pregnant after having sex with a female version of himself in an alternate universe. In an episode of Sliders, the quartet “slides” into an alternate world in which babies develop during their final months in the father because a worldwide disease has kept women from being able to carry children beyond their first trimester. In the popular fantasy series Charmed’s fifth season, during a dream spell gone wrong, Leo ends up pregnant with Piper’s baby for a good deal of the episode, leading to her referring to him as an ‘incubator’ and at times berating him for ‘upsetting the baby’.
They both know that the mirror in the room is a fake one and that they’re both being watched. Surprisingly, it’s Hux that breaks the silence first. He just lets out a small, broken ‘Kylo?’ and Ben can’t help but wander what he’s been put through before he ended up in the interogation room. The feelings come rushing back. This fiery desire to protect and to love. To have and to hold. It’s tempting. But it’s the path of the Dark. Right?
