“You think he’ll come out?” Nickel mumbled to Bon. The tan Carrier shrugged. They all knew that the red Alpha hardly ever came out. If the new Carrier was as scared as they thought, neither of them might come out at all. Well, all they could do was wait and see. Solomon sat down on a rock at the edge of the big pond in the enclosure, waiting as well.
There’s five minutes left before Freddy, Chica and I perform on the stage for the children. Waiting has never been my strong point, so I often kill time by taking a peek at the audience behind the curtains, it’s fascinating to see what the children and adults do before we go on stage. No matter how fascinating it was, though, there was something else I found even more intriguing since the day I first heard it…
He shifted a bit and rubbed his swollen belly, grimacing as the baby kicked, sending shocks of pain against his sore belly. He could feel pressure building up and it made him horribly uncomfortable. He supposed that until the baby was out, he wouldn’t be comfortable for a long time.
Harking back to merlenhiver’s quote from the introduction, we can see heteronormative notions expressed in her praise of “The Alpha as the ideal male – protective, fierce yet caring, driven mad by his desire for the Omega, and ultimately a provider for his family.”
The plot revolves around the emergence of a new Alpha King, Luca, after hundreds of years without one and his finding and keeping of his pure omega, Kit. I loved their first meeting when Kit was a 13-year-old human slave, and Luca was dying from poison and the treachery of his twin brother. This early meeting is the prequel to their eventual mating, seven years later, which nearly doesn’t take place! A lot of the emotion and twists in the plot are based around the misunderstandings and miscommunication of the facts surrounding the newly emerged Alpha King and the pure omega. Facts such as the transference of powers, telepathy and the possibility of pregnancy! There is also the chaotic hierarchy and subsequent conflict that exists, in the realm, as a result of history and the truth being buried for so long.
It all depends on the setting of the story and how cruel or nice the Alpha could be. The Omega may build a nest in a closet or small room to mate there. They may even mate in public places or in a car or something. It really all depends on what you are writing or where you are at in the story.
This story is about childhood friends, Luke and Adian. They are wolves and packmates — Best friends. Of course life gets in the way and eventually they reconnect as adults. Luke wanted to rekindle their friendship and Adian is all for it.
This was a Great read… I totally loved Jax… And Karter was perfect for him…I of course was totally into the plot and I hope we get a book and Higgs finds his omega… I truly hope this series continues…fingers crossed…I highly recommended….
Good work! ^_^ However, at the end of the story, why Ciel has to leave the room while he also just gave birth to twins, and the father is Sebastian, not someone else. Maybe, it’d better if all 3 of them (especially Ciel and Sebastian) can rest together with their 4 children.
This bundle will open up any reader’s mind on a road of imagination. I had previously read three of the books already, and the the other two were well worth the price the bundle cost. The author has an extremely deep well of imagination and the vocabulary.
By now most of you know I published an Mpreg book, My Omega’s Baby in June and then the second book, Rockstar Baby in the series in August. I was terrified to write these stories at first because I was afraid my usual readers wouldn’t like them. I myself was a little freaked out when I first heard about Mpreg. But as I read the stories, it became clear they were very much the same sort of thing I already write with MM Romance, only even more emotional.
The premise of an ancient legend about an Alpha King and a rare, pure omega, born human, is so original, as are many of the other intricacies of the story. The author has created a whole world, complete with its history, to be explored. The situation that has evolved between werewolves and humans is cleverly thought out and plotted and supports the story really well.
But just when Jerry believes he will marry for love, he and Rex are ripped away from life as they know it. Betrayals, kidnappings, cruel experiments, pregnant men, and the reappearance of the Anzuni’s greatest enemy force Jerry and Rex to fight for their lives, their love, and their unborn child…
Eggsy was used to being the ‘bit “o’ rough’. Used to being the pretty little omega that rich tits like to pluck outta the gutter and promise the moon to. All “bond with me and you’ll never work again”. Since only ten percent of the population were omegas and forty alphas not surprising that those with money and power tried to buy them a pretty little piece like Eggsy to keep safe and pregnant… even if he were a bloke.
