Lucifer noticed them and realized he was going to have to give the little boy up. He frowned as he walked over, staring into the blue eyes of the angel he held. The little boy smile and made a noise as he reached out a tiny hand to tug on one of Lucifer’s feathers.
Dean stared wide-eyed as the pain dissipated once more and the shining indescribable form of light revealed in Castiel’s hands. Dean felt his heart melt some more as he saw shining bright grass green orbs within form.
In many ways, this reminded me of a “Stormy Glenn”/Siren Erotic Romance type of erotic story, which usually focus on plenty of explicit heat and conflict with quick moving plots, rapidly developing relationships and simplistic dialog. This book has better dialog but much less drama, plot, and relationship conflict. Overall, it was a pleasantly diverting novella, providing a bit of knotting and potential Mpreg (male pregnancy) in a sweet, short Alpha and Omega story. The sizzle was present but relatively tame, punctuating an enjoyable if not overly heated quick and comforting read.

After being exiled for his pack for loving the Packmaster’s son, Alpha wolf shifter Matthias returns only to find his love Bree shunned when his Omega nature is evident. Young, true love is lost but found again in the cold of the winter snow and the overwhelming mating heat. Overall, while the underlying plot was sweet, the writing and the story were not very compelling. Fans of explicit Alpha/Omega wolf shifter attraction, lust and love and their overwhelming drive to connect during the mating heat may find this to be a sizzling albeit short read. While placed in a werewolf setting, the steam includes favorite themes of omegaverse enthusiasts such as male pregnancy (mpreg) and knotting.
WARNING: This story contains male pregnancy, female pregnancy, minor language, and extremely descriptive, if not graphic, labour and birthing scenes. If you are not a fan of any of these subjects, than I would prefer if you not comment on my story, just to start flame wars and explain to the world how certain things, like mpreg, are disgusting and sinful. That is only your opinion, and there are some people that actually enjoy things like this, so please keep your opinions to yourself.
The pain was starting to leave Dean but also the warmth was and Dean felt strangely empty. He licked his lips as his eyes set on Castiel, who was practically sitting on Dean’s legs, his hands slowly pulling out of the bright, shining stomach.
His senses was on hyper alert, and a smirk was dancing all over his face as he ran into the thick woods surrounding the headquarters. He had no doubt that no matter who caught him, he would be sore tomorrow, and he looked forward to it.
“I love the way desire can be so entirely overwhelming. I like it when this is presented in a sort of “coming of age” way instead of as more–rapey.” (Iwantthatcoat, agender, she/they, biromantic grey asexual, 40-50, USA)

“Shh, it’s ok, you’re doing great. Just a little bit more and we can meet our baby. Don’t you want to meet him? It won’t be long now I promise.” Jared peppered his face with soft kisses and wiped at the sweat.
I read a very wide range of books, and I bought this one thinking it would be a trashy novella, a light flimsy read after finishing a heavy series. I was absolutely shocked, because this novella is really well written. Everything about this book at first glance, the themes, the tags, the premise, even the blurb, appearance and the author’s alias promises trash, and instead the writing is fairly high quality, with solid characters that originate from a very cliche archetype but which are multilayered and nuanced. Even the very standard Alpha-meets-fated-mate plot is executed surprisingly well, with the central relationship being dynamic and determined by the interaction of the two main characters, who are both struggling with a sexual attraction that is foisted on them by their wolves. The underlying sense of realism in the characters, their point of view, and the world in which the story occurs, really set the story and its drama apart from melodramatic romantic renditions of similar plots.
