You as a reader may be thinking “How the fuck did that happen?” Well dear reader, there are two people to blame here, Medic and Sniper (sort of). Medic, for implanting a uterus in Spy without his knowledge (for science of course), and Sniper for accidentally impregnating him afterwards. Needless to say, both Sniper and Spy were in a state of shock when they’d found out exactly why the Frenchman had been puking his guts out and was tired all the time for the past few days previously. And of course, Spy had demanded an abortion after he’d calmed down enough to stop attempting to kill both Medic and Sniper. He didn’t care if abortions were illegal or not. This would be minor compared to most of the crimes he was guilty of. Unfortunately for Spy though, the Medic had refused to do it. Not because he was pro-life or any of that crap, but because he felt it would be a waste of an interesting scientific opportunity. No matter, Spy had thought, there were always back alley doctors he could go to, many of whom were more qualified than Medic. That was until the Administrator had intervened after the Medic had begged her to do so. On her orders, he was forced to keep the pregnancy.
“Yes, good…” Joel murmured, watching the large egg stick out and he wrapped a hand around the tip of it, tugging at it experimentally. This prompted a scream from the man birthing the eggs and he let go of the egg.
I’m squicked out by the power dynamics. I don’t want my beloved characters part of a world with dubiously consensual sex, oppression and discrimination on the basis of their gender, intensely strengthened gender norms, being made helpless with undesired child bearing and being a prisoner of their biology. It feels too much like choosing to roll around in the nastier bits of historical (and current) discrimination against women.” (aaa, female, straight-ish, 25-30, Australia)
”I..I need to..I need to PUUUUUUSHHH!” Sebastian screams out before taking his knees in his hands and bearing down hard,Not even worried about his trousers and undergarments. Grell holds his hand tightly as he pushes,Trying his best to comfort him. Sebastian lets out a pained moan and arches his back,Lashing out at Grell as he begins to feel the ring of fire.
Adam heard the other man stating the egg was sideways which meant it was stuck. Doing as he was told Adam continued to push as he felt the other man hand trying to turn the egg so that he would be able to push it out.
WARNING: This is a SEQUEL! If you have not yet read the first book, please do so! And this is a boyxboy story, if you don’t feel comfortable reading it don’t! Matt just finds out that he’s pregnant, but is worried to tell his mate, Jake. Also Jayden finds his mate, but he’s in heat. To add to that, Alec finds his mate too. But he has 2 mates. That’s all I want to put in the description because (a) I don’t know what else to say and (b) I don’t want to spoil it.
Can Reece right his wrongs and save Ellis’s heart, even if it means sacrificing his desires to be the omega’s mate and being there for him as his protector and friend instead? Or will the bond they’ve shared for more than half their lives prove unbreakable in the end?
Fanfiction is an endless world of possibilities. Through fic, we’re able to explore different dynamics between characters, follow plot threads not explored in the source material, or even completely turn the universes we love on their heads in any way we desire. Fanfiction has helped people consider aspects of themselves including gender, sexuality, and kinks, as well as work through emotions or life experiences through the settings and characters of media with which we’re already familiar. In short, fanfiction is one of the greatest creative outlets ever, and I would not be the same if I hadn’t discovered it.
Great read however I must say at the beginning of the book I was totally confused for a few chapters, however I advice you bot to give up as it will all come together the farther you get. I was a little slow there for a minute but the beginning is how you Learn about the different lives Blake the alpha and Josh the omega live. It punctuates the difference between the two. I loved Josh and understood the pain he went through at all he lost. I also understand how Blake felt growing up in the shadows of his siblings. I received an ARC and voluntarily left a review. I gave this book five stars because the message it contains for me was quite powerful. As a parent I don’t do favorites but at the same time I try to teach my kids that every relationship and connection we cultivate will not all be the same. As people the way we connect with each individual person we develop a relationship with is different because we relate to each individual in a different way. If you go to Red Lobster with one friend because they love seafood but go to Olive Garden with another because the don’t like doesn’t mean you favor one friend over the other because one is more expensive than the other. It just means you actually took the time to get to know them individually and you respect them. You love them for who they are and the difference they bring to the relationship. Great read and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
And while magpieinthemorning (female, bi, 30-40, Germany) dislikes “romanticizing and normalizing the existing gender oppression in our society” when it comes to A/B/O, she adds: “Disclaimer: it’s possible that the couple of omegaverse fics I read were extreme and not representative of the genre. However, they were widely recommended by members of the fandom (that’s how I found them).”
Summary: Eren, a young mermaid, meets his dark and intriguing mate, Levi, for the first time by the edge of a large lake in the middle of the wetland forests. Hanji and her team of biologists hide nearby to document the elusive merfolk and their interactions.
Michael turned to Gabriel and Lucifer, who each all knew what to do. They were going to have to hold Dean down. Gabriel went to hold Dean’s legs; Lucifer tended to hold Dean’s wings still while Michael held Dean’s arms down.

One horrific event changed him and his life forever, it hardened his heart. He vowed to himself that’s he’ll be better and good at everything that a Alpha can do. He threw himself into Alpha-level work and poured all his soul and focus into his father’s company. It saved his life. There was no room for romance when he worked all day, everyday. He was convinced he doesn’t need–or want Roman or love in his life to feel content. He’s sheltered his heart and himself from the world.
Before I start, a few more general things: The following is a summary of my respondents’ replies to three questions, namely if A/B/O was love at first sight, what they like best about the genre, and what they like least.
Side note to consider: Romance novels featuring strong, heroic knights to the rescue of damsels in distress have also been called misogynistic. However, it’s important to note that erotic literature expresses fantasies, not a person’s political views. The things that arouse us – or not – aren’t logical or follow socio-political discourses. Thus, a reader can oppose unfair gender dynamics and at the same time appreciate “Alpha to the rescue” type Omegaverse plots.
Sam said yes to Lucifer and is now King of Hell. Dean, in an effort to save his brother, made a deal with the angels, which hid him from Sam – for a year. That time is up and Dean is not closer to finding a cure. Sam still wants his brother as much as he ever did. Only now he’s mad: Dean needs to be shown his place, and Sam is more than willing to do that.
