Cam was just looking for a little fast cash. Stuck at his parents’ house after a nasty breakup, he needed the huge payout offered by Cain Enterprises. Even if it meant being mated by a devastatingly handsome–and devastatingly straight–alpha.
I hadn’t heard a narration by Gus Klondike before but he was an excellent choice. He did a great job adding in emotion and differentiating the voices. I really enjoyed this narration and thought it was a great way to experience this book.
Adam having seen how much energy it takes to birth a baby, decided to rest and gather his strength until it was time. The other man started walking around his hut placing a blanket on the sandy floor for the eggs that would come out of the man. As minutes turned into hours, Adam could see the other man getting tired as he started pacing.
Enter Roam Ashworth. If Roam finds an alpha on OmegaDate, then it won’t be his first trip around the block—he’s got a three-year-old son from his previous relationship to show for it. But there’s heartache there, not anger; his partner died in a car accident before Roam could even tell him he was pregnant, shattering his happily-ever-after forever.
Nonetheless, that morning I lay in bed, not willing yet to get up…until I hear a sigh from Tom next to me. It’s not much, but I can tell something’s different. It’s deeper and laced with the slightest hint of pain, followed by breathing that’s slow, even, and intense. Turning over to look at him, he’s sitting up in bed, his hands ghosting over his stomach as he keeps an intense gaze with the wall.
He rolled back and forth, from his left side to his back, then his right side, and rolling back onto his back. He curled and arched his body, crying out and screaming as the pain assaulted him still. Nothing he did was easing his pain away, in fact it just got worse with each passing one.
Everyone at the reserve was anxious. The person who was the most anxious however, was the head of the stables, Georgina Whitney. Not only was she in charge of the stables, but she was in charge of a specific stable. The Flok stable.
The child that General Hux is carrying must belong to Ben. She can feel a connection to it like she can with her own son. Even with his cuffed hands, Leia watches as Hux strokes over his belly, mouth moving in inaudible sounds.
Book wasn’t really for me. Blake was really selfish and immature. And wasn’t alpha like at all, you know he wasn’t protective or gentle and caring with his Omega, Josh. You know when you read a alpha omega romance and the omega has been through hard times and an amazing alpha comes in to give love, support and respect. Those are great. This one is the opposite. Blake only want josh for sex. Its frustrating because you really just want josh to be loved and cuddled. But in this book he is cursed at and used. It was sad the way Josh was treated and had been treated through his life by other alpha and betas.
Problems at home led Evan to sever ties with his family; he knew they would never accept his identity as a gay man. He wasn’t sure he could accept it himself, until Dakota came back into his life. His childhood friend, transformed from a chubby kid into the ideal masculine form, attends Evan’s graduation and reignites the love they’d always shared but never admitted.
Tarek Bloom is settled in his workaholic, single lifestyle, even if it is somewhat embarrassing to be a twenty-eight year-old unmated alpha. He enjoys his job as a constable, helping people and solving problems, so he isn’t prepared for his life to flip upside-down when he walks into his beta friend Dex’s apartment to help with “a problem.”
now you may be wondering why with all these praises I am not giving it 5 stars. well the ending seemed a bit rushed and they kind of skipped over something i felt should be explained. i was happy with the HEA but there were a few things I was like….but what happen to….and with that…. However despite the rushed ending it was all sorts of wonderful. definitely worth a read.
Ever since he’d made the decision to keep her, despite the fact that he’d been forced to have her against his will, he barely got any sleep. And his performance as a spy was suffering for it. He now got killed more often than usual and discovered more easily when disguised or cloaked. Several times both he and Sniper had been caught sleeping on the job by both enemies and allies alike. He just was not as alert as he knew he should be. His team were losing more and more battles and they’d come to resent him & Sniper for it. And it was all because of that noisy, screaming, attention seeking, pint sized brat, who insisted he get up at half past three in the morning to feed her.
