However, as I thought about the extra “hitch” (or lack of one) in this story a bit more, if I think of omega with a penis but no balls who takes on typically female roles, “male” might not immediately jump to my mind, but it is a very gender fluid character. So it took a little time to wrap my mind around, but I am warming up to viewing this story as a cool traditional gender bending/more gender fluid setting, almost like a paranormal transgender romance. If the omega identifies as male, even if he has some characteristics more often associated traditionally feminine traits, it’s still a male/male story to me, perhaps just with a nice bit of transgender/gender bending flavor to challenge my assumptions.
In a world where omegas are treated like slaves who are supposed to submit to and serve their partner, Braun Etting is different. After years of abuse at the hands of his father and witnessing the abuse his own brother’s (Kell) alpha inflicts on him, Braun wants something different than the path he is destined to take. Enter Tarek Bloom, an Alpha who is kind, caring and compassionate. He’s nothing like Braun was expecting and they slowly build a relationship together. Not all is perfect, Braun challenges societal norms and that puts not only his life in jeopardy but Tarek’s as well. As Kell’s alpha becomes increasingly abusive towards his husband and Braun, nor Tarek, can do nothing to stop it as alphas hold all the power within society.
For a prompt on the Outlast Kinkmeme: http://outlastkinkmeme.dreamwidth.org/692.html There are far too many alphas in the asylum. Waylon, a rare male omega, has been stealthily avoiding them up until he stumbles into the lair of one of the strongest he’s encountered: Eddie Gluskin.

Male pregnancy has been used as a theme in various works of fiction, including the 1978 comedy film Rabbit Test, the BBC science fiction sitcom Red Dwarf and the 1994 comedy film Junior (shown below).
Third, as much as I rooted for Colin to stand up for himself in this story, I found myself taking sides with Ed a lot. Sure, Ed may not have been good at expressing himself, but Colin also did things he shouldn’t have done.
Both alpha and omega are secretly searching for an extraordinarily powerful artifact, and when each realizes the other is pursuing the same item, there is quick agreement to look for it together. There is no real drama or distrust, even though the omega has been horribly abused by alphas in the past and is working for what the alpha considers to be a dangerous and untrustworthy organization. This type of scene would have been ripe for some potentially interesting character and relationship development.
Matthew is a bear shifter whose clan has him slated to mate for political/business purposes. He runs away because he can’t mate a female and doesn’t want to be tied down to the family business anyway.
Why we think it’s a great listen: Some books are meant to be read; others are meant to be heard – Water for Elephants falls into the second group, and is one of the best examples we have of how a powerful performance enhances a great story. Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It’s the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.
2. (Bound By) Clandestine Addiction by Shinguresan: They were drawn together, irrationally, irrevocably. In the face of fear, hate and pain they always felt the pull to return. For a bond unwittingly formed by Harry’s fatal spell? Or something…else? ***And this one is over 250k words! Awarning that the sex is very explicit yet the writing is fantastic. Excellent characterization and feels-a-plenty.
“What the hell?” Dean had no idea what the fuck was going on. One moment Sam was coming up to him with a needle full of human blood and the next he was on the way to the floor before Castiel caught him.
You as a reader may be thinking “How the fuck did that happen?” Well dear reader, there are two people to blame here, Medic and Sniper (sort of). Medic, for implanting a uterus in Spy without his knowledge (for science of course), and Sniper for accidentally impregnating him afterwards. Needless to say, both Sniper and Spy were in a state of shock when they’d found out exactly why the Frenchman had been puking his guts out and was tired all the time for the past few days previously. And of course, Spy had demanded an abortion after he’d calmed down enough to stop attempting to kill both Medic and Sniper. He didn’t care if abortions were illegal or not. This would be minor compared to most of the crimes he was guilty of. Unfortunately for Spy though, the Medic had refused to do it. Not because he was pro-life or any of that crap, but because he felt it would be a waste of an interesting scientific opportunity. No matter, Spy had thought, there were always back alley doctors he could go to, many of whom were more qualified than Medic. That was until the Administrator had intervened after the Medic had begged her to do so. On her orders, he was forced to keep the pregnancy.
Castiel’s hand shook as he went to move it towards Dean’s center. He swiftly tore the shirt right off of the body to reveal the smooth, toned abs. He gasped to see Dean’s skin glowing a vibrant bright white at his core.
Problems at home led Evan to sever ties with his family; he knew they would never accept his identity as a gay man. He wasn’t sure he could accept it himself, until Dakota came back into his life. His childhood friend, transformed from a chubby kid into the ideal masculine form, attends Evan’s graduation and reignites the love they’d always shared but never admitted.
As you’d expect from something that’s 180k long, this is plotty and deep and takes its time taking you on a journey. It’s quintessentially a fix it fic, fixing all the things the author (any many others) didn’t like about canon at and after season 4 of the show. Which means, spoiler alert, a lot of people who are dead in canon are not dead here. But the way everything is explained and how it all fits together works so well, I didn’t mind in the slightest. It’s a bit like everything you wished canon could be, and that’s certainly not a bad thing. I almost wish I’d waited and read it all in one rather than as a WIP, because as much as I usually don’t mind reading things as WIPs, I feel like this should be read the way a novel is read – all in one. So if you can do it that way, I’d recommend it. If you can’t, read it anyway. It’s the canon we all deserve, and if Jeff won’t give it to us, we’ll damn well make it ourselves.
I usually don’t read these kind of themed books, but the author is such a great storyteller that she has reeled me in and now I’m hooked.. On to the next book of the series.. I received this story for free for an honest review
Review: Fated and “instant” mate stories are often drafted with too much of a trope that seems incredibly artificial and unbelievable. For a short story, this author handles the “insta-mate” phenomenon with some fineness and more credulity than many novels. While the pairing was a central theme, surrounding setting and plot devices nicely brought out and reinforced the hesitant yet strong connection between the two, yielding for a pretty decent, quick, and enjoyable read.
Castiel growled at each of them but they ignored him and he finally calmed down. His grace was twisting inside of him, hating the image of Dean being held down. The hunter was in so much pain that Castiel felt it through their bond.
Omega wolf Jason and his family have been on the run for six years, to keep Jason from being forcefully mated to his pack’s cruel Alpha. When a brutal attack leaves his father desperately injured, Jason comes to the conclusion that it’s time to call it quits. Terrified as he is to deliver himself into an Alpha’s power, he makes a deal to mate with the Alpha of the richest pack in the country, and discovers that he’d rather mate the Alpha’s handsome Head of Security.
But lately, Jesse feels as though there’s a piece of him that’s missing. Insid…e, he longs for a strong alpha to step into his world; one who can take him to new heights pleasure—and plant his seed deep inside.
Every author deserves credit for the extreme effort that goes into writing a story. The concept was good, I read the blurb and bought it. Sadly, it was just blah. There was shifting which I like, but the characters, esp Jake, weren’t developed to where I cared about them. And was it Christmas? I missed that.
Can love and justice co-exist between two shifters caught in moral combat? ***Luscious Justice is a standalone vel; you don’t need to read any of the other books in the OmegaDate Diaries series to enjoy this one.*** Jax Hollister is stranger to shifter prejudice. After watching his older brother convicted of a crime he didn’t commit, it’s the entire reason he left his pack to become a shifter defense attorney in Capitol City. Jax loves his work, but there’s a gaping hole in his personal life. No longer content with merely defending shifters, he wants to find one he can love-an omega he can claim as his very own. Prosecutor Kris Jameson is ready to call off his search for true love. Abandoned at birth and raised by humans, Kris seems destined to repeat the cycle of abandonment, falling over and over again for self-centered alphas that won’t commit. Deciding that OmegaDate-a glorified hook-up app as far as Kris is concerned-has brought thing but grief to his life, Kris decides to delete the app for good; but t before a message from a sweet and gorgeous alpha comes his way, prompting Kris to give the app one final try. And though first date with fellow attorney Jax Hollister begins with intense mutual attraction, it soon turns disastrous, leaving them both trying to forget that the encounter ever happened. But cruel fate has other plans, and Jax and Kris find themselves pitted against one ather in a professional-and emotional-battle that neither one is prepared to withstand. And when it becomes clear that there’s more at stake than just their careers, the anger and passion that threatens to consume them may end up changing the course of their professional and personal lives forever. Especially when it becomes clear that there may be a third life involved in their collective futures… AUTHOR’S NOTE: This book contains hot and lusty male on male action involving frenzied bareback sex, shapeshifting wolves, ktting and a sweet and tender happily-ever-after. Not recommended for those that blush easily.

At the infirmary, both Sniper and Heavy helped Spy onto the operating table. Spy then proceeded to get on all fours again, rocking himself back and fourth. He then lowered his head and shoulders to the table and started moaning like an injured animal. It was then Medic showed up in his full medical attire.
Again, there’s a lot of versions of the explanation of the omegaverse shits and these happens in some webcomics/mangas already xD hope you can find those, these are very weird but it haves a lot of beautiful FLUFF
This book really confused me. I don’t remember any of Arthur’s other books being this melodramatic and cheesy. She’s never been a stranger to angst, sure, but when the characters start spewing things like, “you being angry with me was tearing at my soul”, you’ve passed angst and skipped right on into Eyerollsville.
Warning – by the title you would know that this is a male pregnancy birth. Another thing is that it does have cuss words in it. If you, the reader, are not okay or comfortable with these things, either go to the next story and read the warnings or exit this short story book. Please no bad comments. You have been warned.
First time writing a mpreg and labor scene so don’t know how good it is. I hope the original poster liked it. Like I said earlier, there will be inaccurate medical information but it’s a fic so, there’s that.
Jared was born into his profession. He’d never met his parents. His father had been katil, killed in action, more legend than man. He used to wonder what his father would’ve been like, whether he knew about Jared. It seemed more people knew about his father than he ever did as a kid and it’s taken Jared an entire life to emerge from the long shadow his father had cast.
