Sam Winchester had always been an early riser. His brother Dean made fun of him, but ever since he was young he’d always be up before his brother, and this day was no different. Except for the smiling angel in the kitchen.
NYPD Detective Alec MacAidan has always been good with weird. After all, his life been a string of the unexplainable. But when an injured man gives him cryptic clues, then turns to dust in front of him, Alec’s view on weird is changed forever. Cronin, a vampire Elder, has spent the last 1,000 years waiting for Alec. He’d been told his fated one would be a man wielding a shield, but he didn’t expect him to be human, and he certainly didn’t expect that shield to be a police badge.
Love this series. Shifters and mpreg are always great stories. Rowan finds the well and sees Derrick! He is living a dangerous life when he meets Derrick. Of course things run the way they do and Derrick is pregnant and Rowan is in trouble. HEA for all.
I love this so much. ❤️ Does Ben suddenly feel like Kylo again, remembering the conversation he and Hux had had about baby names if they were ever lucky enough to conceive one? Does he go back out to General Organa who says that Hux is too important to the First Order to not know their secrets so she tells Ben that he has her permission to use other methods to get information from Hux? Does Ben stay awake all night thinking about the pain that he’s got to cause Hux, but he shouldn’t care because Kylo Ren is dead and he was in love with Hux, not Ben? Does Ben go to Hux the next morning (who’s had another round of beatings and is bruised all over) and probes his mind for information but instead finds memories of Hux and his daughter? His entire pregnancy, alone, the terrible and traumatic birth where they both nearly died, her first words and her first steps, her first use of the Force and Snoke telling Hux that she’ll be a great asset, just like her father was? Does Ben come out of the probe to find that he and Hux are crying and all Ben wants to do is take Hux and leave? TELL ME! ❤️

Wow whoever reads this please know that I noticed that I had unintentionally changed the baby’s gender throughout the story. It doesn’t matter what the gender is though so just use your imagination or pick which gender you would like the baby to be. Thank you for understanding.

Luke Wyatt, handsome and wealthy suitcase entrepreneur and shifter, is about to close the deal of a lifetime. Travelling to Monaco to meet with the rich and famous, he finds himself rubbing shoulders with the perfect investors in an ideal setting. But before he knows it, things get dangerous. Very dangerous.
Pregnancy and childbirth is an experience like no other. In fact it is nothing short of a miracle. Thousands of babies are born every day but every experience is different. It is often portrayed as easy or taken for granted that it will all be plain sailing but as a mother myself I know this is not always the case.
The “werewolves exposing themselves to humans” trope is a difficult one for me to appreciate without an extreme level of thought and sophistication. (The author’s treatment of this “coming out” wasn’t horrible, and had plenty of political and personality-driven machinations, but for those plots to be very enjoyable to me, I yearn for a very significant and deeply well thought-out world building and story. The reasons why werewolves remain hidden for so long, how they’ve interacted with and affected human events in the past, and why they are coming out now are massive questions that are difficult to answer in a short romance. For example, author attempted to address some of this with comments about World War I and the War on Terror, so kudos for at least trying to put such a earth-shattering, seminal event into some perspective. But to me this ices over World War II and the Cold War, which to me vastly, vastly larger threats by far to both humanity and especially werewolves’/supernaturals’ position and stake in the world.) Again, my respect to the author to at least try to address this, even if in this particular case it did not really enhance the believability (or suspension of my disbelief) too much for me personally.
Levi lifted his head to meet Eren’s gaze, and he could feel his stomach tighten at the look he was giving him. He wanted to say something to comfort him, but he couldn’t guarantee that he would return from the expedition in one piece, or that the baby would wait for his return. His silence wasn’t helping either, causing Eren to shift his weight from one foot to the other nervously as he waited for Levi to answer.
Bryce came to my door looking like a helpless, lost cat. He was disheveled, hungry and looking for a leg up in the world. The first thing I noticed about him was that he was in heat. With no money, he couldn’t even afford heat blockers.
An avid reader of het romance, her first foray into reading published m/m romance (slash fanfic doesn’t count) is thanks to a Dear Author review of K.A. Mitchell’s CHASING SMOKE. After devouring K.A.’s existing backlist, she dove headfirst into other authors. While she prefers contemporary, she’ll occasionally sample an historical or SFF m/m romance.
