“Push now!” Joel urged the man to push as the egg slid out halfway before slipping back in when the man stopped pushing. He spread the man’s legs to it’s furthest extent and looked at the egg while the man struggled to push it out.
Alphas and Omegas often are slaves to their biology. Sometimes there is actual slavery inside a fic’s world, with Omegas usually occupying the lowest social strata, which some of my respondents love as a trope and other hate with a passion.
Hearing the banter between the two of them, I look over and smile before turning my attention back to cooking Tom’s sandwich. Nearly a decade ago, I never would have thought of getting married, much less having children. But now here I am; a loving husband, two beautiful children, and he’s giving me a third… Didn’t think I’d ever be this lucky.
Sam has always had a bleeding heart. It was his idea to take in a pregnant and hormonal King of Hell after Bobby’s death. I’m looking for a fluffy, funny fic. Dean doesn’t want him there, Crowley doesn’t really want to be there, and Sam just wants to keep everyone happy.
Crime writer Tarly Bowring can’t sleep at night. Haunted by memories of his troubled past—and the omnipresent threat of danger in his present—he isolates himself in his sprawling mansion far away from Capitol City, only daring to venture into civilization when he’s heavily medicated. That way, he knows he won’t shift at random and lose control.
In the second half, the pace of the story ratchets higher, and there’s no let-up. There’s always something happening, and the last few chapters are so fast paced I had to stop and remember to breathe. More than once the story could have been tied up, but thankfully it wasn’t. As a result, the book is quite long with lots of plot twists and just when you think everything will be alright something else bad happens.

You had a crush on him, you see. But of course, you were too shy to ask. Sam knew that right away since the two of you were best friends. You became friends really quickly when Sam moved into your high school and protected you from a couple bullies. You then told him that no one had ever done that and you would be glad to be friends. And from then on, you stuck by him and he protected your from any bully. He had told you that he had a few bullies that bullied him as well so he was glad to help you.
When obstacles begin to arise, Nik starts to wonder if he’s the one for the job. An anti-dragon hate group has Pyromancer in their crosshairs . . . maybe literally. And when synguanids around him begin to find true love and start families, Nik’s loneliness may make him an easy target.
Unlike an ectopic pregnancy, which does not include the protection of a uterus and which places both the fetus and father in danger, having a uterus transplanted into a male would provide protection to both the fetus and the father and removing the danger to both.
“I’ll be sure to get her ready then” the voice keeps talking. It sounds familiar. You wonder who the man was talking to. Picking yourself up on the couch, you look over the head rest to see a man with odd purple hair talking on your cellphone.
After Sniper cut the umbilical cord, and Spy had delivered the afterbirth, the infant was cleaned and wrapped up in blankets to keep her warm. Spy was also seen to and had a blanket wrapped around him as well as a pillow placed beneath his head so he could rest. He would need some time to recover from the birth. Medic needed to keep him overnight for observation. The still nameless infant girl was asleep in a makeshift cot, which was really just an empty drawer filled with blankets. She was now dry and fed after Spy had (very reluctantly) expressed some milk for her to be fed via a bottle.
Hunny pried Orange off of Tino before the brown Carrier could bite him. Silverstein moved closer to Topaz and the two were digging into the fruit bowl. Tino grabbed a random piece out of it as soon as he was free. Seeing it was a chunk of watermelon, he bit into it and turned back to look at Orange. The alpha smiled thinking Tino was going to forgive him, but whimpered as a seed hit him in the center of his forehead. He flopped down on the blankets.

Not sure how to describe this book for me I enjoyed it and have now downloaded many books of the Wolf Shifters Series and found each and everyone full of surprises and never ending surprises. The writer gets you into the story line to the point you feel you are in the story and can live and the life of an observer and friend who keeping your fingers crossed for the best for both characters.
I really don’t know what to say, it was ok I was able to read it in its entirety however at 70% I started skimming. Something was missing, I really can’t explain the lackingness (made up word) I felt reading this book. I didn’t hate it however I didn’t love it either.
After they responded to these questions, survey-takers told us how they felt about different elements of fanfic: whether loved, hated, didn’t care about, or didn’t know about each of 144 tropes and themes. The questions were about everything from tone (how do you feel about angst, fluff, parody?) to format (epistolary fic, multi-media fic, imagines?) to relationship to canon (missing scenes, point of view shift, crossovers or fusions?) to situations (temporary animal transformation, telepathy, road trips?) to relationships (secret siblings, orgies, male pregnancy?). For their surveys to be counted, respondents had to give an opinion on every single question.
This period of incubation can take much longer than the production of another clutch of eggs by the female, especially in temperate regions where pregnancies last longer, leading to a reproductive environment in which sexual selection can be stronger on females than on males due to increased male parental investment. Interestingly, this reversal of traditional sex roles has only been found in pipefishes, whereas seahorses have largely been accepted as monogamous. Some pipefish species display classical polyandry because of this unique situation. Male syngnathids usually prefer females with large body size and prominent ornaments such as blue skin pigmentation or skin folds. Intriguingly, syngnathid males in some species are apparently capable of absorbing eggs or embryos while in the brood pouch. In these cases, embryos with the highest survival rate are those whose mothers display the preferred phenotype.
Well, if you want to write a fanfic that will appeal to the broadest possible swath of readers, sure. (To fully maximize readership, it should probably be Destiel—Dean and Castiel from Supernatural—by the way.) But the patterns that emerge are also striking.
