*blush* I know it’s been a long time. That’s why I’ve put my Gazette fics here on lj on hold…so I can get my chapter 9 for Wolves up on FF.net. I’ve got at least 14pgs? written so far and yet have not even begun to fit everything I wanted to into this chpt. So, I guess I’m going to just reach a stopping place, or if I’m really evil, a good cliffhanger and post it. Then everyone will have to wait another span of time for the rest of it, I guess. Please be patient. I’ll try to get something posted soon. >^.^< Slim, smart and sweet, Lorenzo is an award-winning journalist, and knows that an interview with him can make or break Dane's business. A sensitive omega, Lorenzo finds big shot bosses arrogant, uncaring and unprincipled. Biting his lip, he watched Eren take a few big breaths, before pushing down hard. The puddle of bodily fluids beneath his mate had soaked the towel some what disturbingly, but his attention was soon back on the baby “I am genderfluid/leaning to male and want to experience pregnancy. I will however put off any surgery and hormones until after I give birth[…] It has similarities with being transgender. It is lovely to see any kind of representation in a positive light and to be “normalized.” I love that I can escape to this fantasy land where males can give birth because I hate that I have to put off being my true gender if I want to have a child.” -Missy Kindle Store Buy A Kindle Kindle Books Kindle Unlimited Prime Reading Kindle Singles Kindle Daily Deals Free Reading Apps Newsstand Accessories Certified Refurbished Help Forum Content and devices Amazon Device Support Biology has gone actually insane. The Alpha/Beta/Omega system works in a similar way to packs (it’s said this trope grew out of werewolf!AUs). Alphas (especially Alpha males) have enormous cocks capable of knotting; Omegas (including male omegas) have a heat cycle that is based on their ability to conceive. Omegas’, er, orifices are self-lubricating, especially while they’re in heat. Pheremones fly around like mad, and there is a lot of scenting, marking and gallons and gallons of bodily fluids. Opinions on this vary; different fics deal with this in different way – or not at all, in some cases. A/B/O fics run the risk of glossing over the issue of consent, which a majority of my survey participants found highly problematic. Now let me see if I can properly do this book justice. Starting it I thought best case scenario I would enjoy it enough, and worse case I would have to find something else to review. But neither of those happened, because I not only enjoyed it, I flippin LOVED it. The world building this author created hooked me from the first page. It was so intriguing that I finished it in one sitting, yes me who wasn’t quite sure I would like mpreg book, read it in one day. And it’s not exactly a short book. Sitting in an overly expensive sofa, a pregnant young man was currently watching over several toddlers play on the floor before him. His hand came up to rest on the mound that was his swollen stomach, his womb full with overdue twins. He sighed and rubbed at the stretched skin, his swollen belly exposed. Honestly, I knew mob families were big but this is getting out of hand... He blushed at the thought. Title: The Alpha King (Kingdom of Askara #1) Author: Victoria Sue Publisher: Self Published Release Date: January 26, 2017 Genre(s): Shifter Mpreg M/M Page Count: 215 Reviewed by: Susan Heat Level: 4 flames out of 5 Rating: 4 stars out of 5 Blurb: The Kingdom of Askara has been torn apart by conflict for centuries, where humans exist as subservient beings to their werewolf masters. Legend says it will only… Eren’s words were mumbled, his eyes unfocused from his exhaustion. Sliding from the bed, Levi rushed to grab two thick towels and then back to Eren’s side, his mate was still smiling that dopey smile, eyes not moving from the boys at all. The little girl in Dean's arms sucked in a breath and in a sudden, she let out a small squeak sound and in that moment, Dean lifted his head as her set of wings shot out to their full form, the downy feathers puffing out. He couldn't help but laugh at how much it reminded him of the old Disney movie. This book is phenomenal, informative, loving and chock full of adventure. In one aspect I disagree with the author, that while each story is separate, it does help the reader to read all the previous books as each individual book brings in previous people who have a major part in the stories starting with the prequel and that way all the new readers can appreciate the author's agility of writing and how those characters have changed throughout. Personally speaking, any book that Aiden Bates writes is of the highest caliber. I am proud to say that I have all of his books, because he is just a great writer. He always knew his fate would be to mate an Alpha… He just never expected this Alpha… When his Alpha offers him as a 30th birthday present to another Alpha, Elias cannot say no. Not even when he finds out that the Alpha in question is the ruthless Graydon Hunter. How could Elias possibly mate with a cold-blooded killer such as him…? Now this was what I call a GREAT shifter , mpreg, alpha & omega m/m ROMANCE with a believable and exciting story line. Derrick the introverted, moody music teacher as the omega wolf shifter and Rowan our motorcycle riding, leather jacket wearing "bad boy," the alpha were perfect together when they "finally" got together BUT that what made this book by author Preston Walker so incredibly good...the anticipation, mutual desire and just plain old fashioned courtship that lead to one of the most amazing romantic climaxes I have read in recent memory. Part of the lure of Derrick and Rowan for me was that Derrick, the omega was five years old than Rowan, the very macho alpha male only adding to the intrigue of their attraction to each other. Seeing how Mr. Walker worked his magic with his words as both Derrick & Rowan changed for the best and came to understand not only each other but also themselves just added to the appeal of their relationship together. Plus and a big plus it is...the actual plot of the book was so exciting and more importantly for me believable. In any book where you have either (or both) male pregnancy and [wolf] shifters an author must integrate both of these "fantasy" aspects into a realistic plot and Mr. Walker made all the pieces come together perfectly where EVERYTHING made sense and easy to follow. Simply put this was one of the best books in this genre I have ever read plus Derricks love of everything "music" was just lovely and poetic. [redirect url='http://bawlby.com/bump' sec='999']
