By now most of you know I published an Mpreg book, My Omega’s Baby in June and then the second book, Rockstar Baby in the series in August. I was terrified to write these stories at first because I was afraid my usual readers wouldn’t like them. I myself was a little freaked out when I first heard about Mpreg. But as I read the stories, it became clear they were very much the same sort of thing I already write with MM Romance, only even more emotional.
There’s a thing called an ‘omega drop’ and it is bad for the said secondary gender. Aside from it happening when the said omega is rejected or away from their love ones and they get depressed, what other effects occur to them?
That is what I loved so much, that it’s not a quick read, there is background and we get to know these character. Starting with Braun, you can see the fear he has lived his entire life, and why he doesn’t want anything to do with finding an alpha. Oh my heart ached for this, so much. As an omega, he has been told his whole life he is a second class citizen, so easily thrown out like garbage. You can really see the parallels to this in real life and I think that is why my heart broke as it did. Because this actually happens today in our world.

Kit grew up as a street-rat, an unlicensed human who would never be more than a slave for whichever master owns him. Then one day he came across a young Alpha-heir, attacked and dying of poison, and found out their fates were suddenly entwined.
But, when Scott discovers that X-Tec is actually studying alien life forms in a secret, underground laboratory, his verbally abusive father becomes the least of his worries. And when he finds himself assigned to the most dangerous alien in their captivity—an inescapably sexy shape-shifting dragon—Scott begins to question a lot more than his chosen career path, including his very life on Earth.
“I’ll be sure to get her ready then” the voice keeps talking. It sounds familiar. You wonder who the man was talking to. Picking yourself up on the couch, you look over the head rest to see a man with odd purple hair talking on your cellphone.
4 TWINKLING STARS: “Starting a new series can be a worry for some authors, but I always find that it gives an author a chance to either expand on the type of books that they write or try something new. I have to say that Stormy Glenn did not disappoint. This first book in the Wolf Haven series tells the story of Matthew or Matty, a human omega and Rico, a shifter, both who have no idea what the other is. I would have given this five stars, but this first book in the series focuses on world and character building, so it just lost that slight edge. Having said that, because I enjoyed the start to this series so much, I immediately bought the second book to find out what happened to the two characters whose story started towards the end. All in all, it’s a strong start to a new series, and I anxiously look forward to more from the Wolf Haven series.” – Redz, Redz World
“Hurts…!” He whined, tears stinging his eyes from the severe pain he was feeling from birthing an egg and baby at the same time. His body shook from it, but he squeezed his mate’s hand anyway and bore down, screaming out as the baby’s head popped out in a gush of fluids.
He hates the slow slide of honeyed fingers in his hair. He hates the way the longer hairs at the back of his neck brush the leather collar Sam has him wear when they have visitors. He hates being Sam’s little pet. He hates the way the demon Captain watches Sam pet his hair, almost as much as he hates Sam petting his hair in the first place.
‘Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit’ was all that was running through Sniper’s head. This could not be happening. He was only vaguely aware of Spy staring at him. When the contraction ended, Spy straightened himself up with a hand to his back. He turned to the assassin.
He’d done it; he’d given birth for the first time and his mate had been there to help him through it; albeit a bit late. He looked down at their newborns, their cute little tails swaying back and forth as they fed.
Unaware that he was being watched, Adam had got the egg out, before not able to catch his breathe as the next egg was starting to crown. After pushing for a few minutes or what seemed like forever to him, Adam could barely feel the egg sliding out. Catching his breathe in between pushing, Adam reached his hand trying to feel the egg. Groaning, Adam could only feel the tip of the egg out, figuring it had to be one of the biggest one yet.
This book was really intense! The plot completely drew me in, and the characters made it even better. I love the way Derrick and Rowan met for the first time. I enjoyed reading this one, especially because of the amount of shifter lore in it.
“Ahh….nnnnnngg… I–” he pulled himself up on his elbows thinking this position would work better than his previous one. He drew up his legs as far as he could with them wide apart. Gripping his knees white-knuckled he took another hit from the pain this time not pushing: “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh,” he groaned with clench teeth. In the back of his mind there was the thought of the neighbours – old bats who surely would hear a young twentysomething man screaming even if they were hard of hearing. The next one came and instead of riding with it, he used his legs as support and pushed. “Holy…fuck…” he kept his mouth shut, biting down, clenching teeth as he bared down on that pressure built up in his anus.
As the latest contraction gripped her bulging belly, her tail curling of its own accord in reaction to the pain, she groaned, “Not a million times, Tris, maybe just two or three.” Her eyes were scrunched shut in an effort to block everything, including the pain, out.
The story begins in 1962. On a rocky patch of the sun-drenched Italian coastline, a young innkeeper, chest-deep in daydreams, looks out over the incandescent waters of the Ligurian Sea and spies an apparition: a tall, thin woman, a vision in white, approaching him on a boat. She is an actress, he soon learns, an American starlet, and she is dying. And the story begins again today, half a world away, when an elderly Italian man shows up on a movie studio’s back lot – searching for mysterious woman he last saw at his hotel decades earlier.
The Omegaverse is RIFE with serious issues (dubious consent being perhaps the most obvious and most frequent) but it is also a) interesting from a genderfuck point of view, b) awesome in terms of world-building, one of my favourite things about AUs, and c) really fucking hot.
In August 2013, destinationtoast created an analysis of Alpha/Beta/Omega fics based on how these fics are tagged on AO3. The statistics look at how A/B/O fic fits into the general categories on AO3 including how much is slash, femslash, or het, how it is rated, and how much is marked with the archive warning. The stats also explore popularity over time, common co-occurring tags, the relationship with mpreg, which fandoms produce the most A/B/O, and popularity within fandoms.
Good introduction to characters and plot. It also includes warnings such as alpha, beta and omega dynamics, heats, knotting and mpreg along with trigger warnings for physical, emotional and sexual abuse. They are in there so if those are triggers for you this might not be the book for you.
Dean stared wide-eyed as the pain dissipated once more and the shining indescribable form of light revealed in Castiel’s hands. Dean felt his heart melt some more as he saw shining bright grass green orbs within the form.
Review: Fated and “instant” mate stories are often drafted with too much of a trope that seems incredibly artificial and unbelievable. For a short story, this author handles the “insta-mate” phenomenon with some fineness and more credulity than many novels. While the pairing was a central theme, surrounding setting and plot devices nicely brought out and reinforced the hesitant yet strong connection between the two, yielding for a pretty decent, quick, and enjoyable read.
He always knew his fate would be to mate an Alpha… He just never expected this Alpha… When his Alpha offers him as a 30th birthday present to another Alpha, Elias cannot say no. Not even when he finds out that the Alpha in question is the ruthless Graydon Hunter. How could Elias possibly mate with a cold-blooded killer such as him…?
Soooo the semi-happy one is with Prompto’s water breaking in the middle of the night while he and Noct are sleeping. Prom knows right away what is happening and tries to wake Noct up but he doesn’t budge whatsoever. So he spends at least 20 minutes trying to wake him up. Noct feels the wetness in the bed and wakes up to complain about “Prompto wetting the bed” but he justs get a very angry Prompto yelling at him.
Unlike an ectopic pregnancy, which does not include the protection of a uterus and which places both the fetus and father in danger, having a uterus transplanted into a male would provide protection to both the fetus and the father and removing the danger to both.
I have to say that I enjoyed this book. I cried for Ed, and I love it when a story pulls those emotions from me. Mal, is still my favorite character so I was hoping to see more of him than I did, but who doesn’t hope for more of their favorite character.
At the infirmary, both Sniper and Heavy helped Spy onto the operating table. Spy then proceeded to get on all fours again, rocking himself back and fourth. He then lowered his head and shoulders to the table and started moaning like an injured animal. It was then Medic showed up in his full medical attire.
