And then one night Cas gets tired of waiting for Dean to admit it and scootches over next to Dean in bed and asks, “Do you want another baby?” and immediately Dean’s on the defensive like “No why would I want to carry around another freaking bowling ball for nine months”
This book really confused me. I don’t remember any of Arthur’s other books being this melodramatic and cheesy. She’s never been a stranger to angst, sure, but when the characters start spewing things like, “you being angry with me was tearing at my soul”, you’ve passed angst and skipped right on into Eyerollsville.
He swore he could hear Eren mentally cursing him, and wiped his tears away with his free arm. This totally wasn’t how it was supposed to happen. Watching their second pup slide free, his hair, ears and tail were brown like Eli’s. Two boys, God. How lucky could he be? Tearing off another strip of fabric, he tied the cord like he’d done the first time and Eren slumped sideways, while the afterbirth was expelled from his body. Much like his brother, the pup in his hold let out a small cry
If you’ve never heard of it before, I can imagine that many people’s initial reaction is ‘wow, that’s really weird.’ When I first heard of the phenomenon I was equally baffled at the concept. I tend to avoid applying the word ‘weird’ to subcultures I simply don’t understand, but I confess I wasn’t exactly the most accepting person about it when I first discovered it. One day curiosity got the better of me, though, and I read some because, hey, nobody knows what I’m looking at on my own computer screen so why not give it a shot? At worst I giggle about it and move on. But to my surprise, it was actually pretty damn good. So then I read more of it. And then I wrote some. And then I just really couldn’t keep lying to myself anymore and had to admit that I’m kind of sort of a fan of it and I can’t even begin to articulate why.

Journalist Colin Church has been through a lot. Through it all, he’s been able to rely on his best friend, Ed. Ed is the single most reliable person Colin has ever known – he’s also been in love with Ed since he knew what love was.
Despite the 3 1/2 star, I enjoyed Saved and I do recommend it. I think part of the reason I’m not giving this story a higher rating is because I’m familiar with A.M. Arthurs’ work, and absolutely love her stories, but for me this one fell a little flat in comparison. This first book in the series is comparable to other Mpreg stories, in my experience. With A.M. Arthur though, I was expecting a bit more I guess. With that being said, I have read the second in the series, Seen, and it’s wonderful. It’s exactly what I’ve come to expect and I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend. You do need to read Saved first though as it sets the stage. That’s not to say reading Saved is a chore. Absolutely not. It was enjoyable, it just didn’t have the same heart and soul poured into it as Seen. Like Saved was written to set the stage and not so much out of a driving need to tell Braun’s story itself. I think part of my problem also was not actually the story itself, but the initial world building. I had some hang-ups about it until later in the story when things were explained a bit more clearly. That kind of threw me off for awhile. Other than that, the characters, their relationship, the events in the story, all made for a good story and I do encourage everyone to give this one a go and then go on to read Seen which I really really liked 🙂
Unfortunately, Lance had only managed to decide that yes, Keith was indeed acting strange, when they were training with Hunk and Pidge. The red Paladin seemed even more riled up than usual as they sparred and Hunk even asked him if something was wrong. Keith didn’t necessarily yell at Hunk since, honestly, nobody would ever yell at Hunk, but he gave him a rather cold shoulder. Hunk and Pidge had left the training deck early and, now that Lance looking back at it, they had probably left because they realized how strange Keith was acting.
An avid reader of het romance, her first foray into reading published m/m romance (slash fanfic doesn’t count) is thanks to a Dear Author review of K.A. Mitchell’s CHASING SMOKE. After devouring K.A.’s existing backlist, she dove headfirst into other authors. While she prefers contemporary, she’ll occasionally sample an historical or SFF m/m romance.
For female Omegas and Betas, it works just as real life should. For male Omegas is where it gets complicated. Since their uterus is not in the normal position, there will most likely be a c-section, or Cesarean section. Basically they cut their body open and go into the womb, pulling the baby out that way. There are anesthetics that can be used to help numb the pain.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: This book contains hot and lusty male on male action involving frenzied bareback sex, shapeshifting wolves, knotting and a sweet and tender happily-ever-after. Not recommended for those that blush easily.
Resuming the narrative of his Pulitzer Prize-winning Ghost Wars, best-selling author Steve Coll tells for the first time the epic and enthralling story of America’s intelligence, military, and diplomatic efforts to defeat Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan since 9/11.
I enjoyed this book. Preston Walker reminds of my other authors. He makes it easy for you to get into the story and to fall in love with the characters. I will recommend this book to all of my friends
And then, just like that, the game was on, and Naruto bashed out through the door in a mad run to get away from the two males, and they chased after him, working well together after many years as team mates in the forces.

Author’s summary: It’s the summer after Stiles’ first year of college, and he’s working a crappy job and dealing with nightmares and anxiety – but he’s okay, he swears. He makes it through most days without too much trouble. Then, a certain werewolf comes back into town. Which Stiles doesn’t care about, nope, not at all.
