“Mpreg Meaning Mpreg Writing”

Harry awoke when a sharp stabbing pain engulfed his middle. His belly tightened and held, then suddenly relaxed. Looking at the time, he saw that it was only 2:00 in the morning. He timed his contractions, and they were about twenty minutes apart. After four hours of this, the contractions were six minutes apart, and Harry decided it would be prudent to wake Draco and send him to get Madame Pomfrey.

Thor believed that saving Jotunheim would save them all. There would be no grief for a lost brother, son, or prince. Loki would face trial for his crimes before the Allfather, before he would be returned to them. It would be a fresh start for their family, as Loki was given a chance to redeem himself and heal from his wounds, but things would soon go awry.

Over the years they’d watched Anne Marie grow, they couldn’t deny that their daughter’s behaviour was… odd. For one thing, she hardly took notice of anyone. She never played with other instead preferring to play by herself or spin in a corner, or follow insects wherever they went. This had lead to many an incident where either Spy or Sniper would lose her the moment they turned their backs, leading them to run around like headless chickens trying to find her.

Crime writer Tarly Bowring can’t sleep at night. Haunted by memories of his troubled past—and the omnipresent threat of danger in his present—he isolates himself in his sprawling mansion far away from Capitol City, only daring to venture into civilization when he’s heavily medicated. That way, he knows he won’t shift at random and lose control.

I ended up a bit ambivalent about this book. I didn’t particularly like Blake and didn’t understand his desire to kick against the pricks in his mid-20s as if he were still 16. I definitely related more to Josh in pretty much all ways.

Male pregnancy, or Mpreg, is a plot type mostly found within the Paranormal or the Science Fiction genres. It is also common to tie into the M/M Romance genre, since intimacy and/or romantic relationships between men is often part of the Mpreg story.

Mpreg part 1Being due with triplets had hardly stopped Bret, a local stripper, from working. His clientele had actually grown, men and women both apparently loving a very pregnant stripper work his magic. And the father of his unborn babies had been paying well, for he was the Chief detective in town.

So I started ‘Saved’ not really know what would entail and if my hang ups on mpreg and the abuse would keep my from enjoying this book. This was the first book by A.M. that I have read so I had not clue about her writing style, or what to expect. I don’t tend to step outside my box when it comes to new books and new to me authors so I was afraid this would hinder the way I judged it. I will tell you right now, I am glad I did this for my out of comfort zone book, because I have since bought book two in this series, as well as two more books by A.M.
