Where do I start with this book? It starts out as though it’s going to be a run of the mill, demon based, paranormal romance, and that would have been OK, but half way through it ‘shifts’, pardon the pun, and becomes a lot more complex. The plot expands to encompass science fiction, conspiracy theory, slavery and world domination for starters.
As a teenager you dream about your future with your love. You may end up with him or her when you are both older, but maybe not. Ash and River were separated while they were young and they remained loving each other in their heart. They did hope that someday they may reconnect. Well, they did, and they fought for each other and in the end they did win. These stories have great meaning because each one shows that if you struggle against adversity and fight YOU will always win with your loved Kris Jameson is ready to call off his search for true love. Abandoned at birth and raised by humans, Kris seems destined to repeat the cycle of abandonment, falling over and over again for self-centered alphas that won’t commit. Deciding that OmegaDate—a glorified hook-up app as far as Kris is concerned—has brought nothing but grief to his life, Kris decides to delete the app for good; but not before a message from a sweet and gorgeous alpha comes his way, prompting Kris to give the app one final try. And though first date with fellow attorney Jax Hollister begins with intense mutual attraction, it soon turns disastrous, leaving them both trying to forget that the encounter ever happened.
“Uh, Keith, I’m flattered that you wanna tie me up, I think, but don’t you think you could at least tell me what you’re up to? Or is this a non-con type thing? Could you, could you at least ask me if I wanna be tied up so this doesn’t feel so non-consensual?” Keith climbed back on top of Lance after he finished tying him up, straddling his hips once more.
“I can…ah…get pregnant…in heat…I want…I want it!” Keith shouted, eyes screwed shut tightly again as he picked up the pace even more on Lance’s cock. His eyes were wide because one, Keith was apparently fertile, and two, just how fast could he move on Lance’s cock? He must really want Lance’s cum to move that fast…
The Republic of Heaven by Blind_Author – His Dark Materials AU. WIP (okay so this is my fave out of all my faves but it hasn’t been updated in forever but I refuse to believe it’s been abandoned or else I’ll perish) (the fave)
Omega wolf Jason and his family have been on the run for six years, to keep Jason from being forcefully mated to his pack’s cruel Alpha. When a brutal attack leaves his father desperately injured, Jason comes to the conclusion that it’s time to call it quits. Terrified as he is to deliver himself into an Alpha’s power, he makes a deal to mate with the Alpha of the richest pack in the country, and discovers that he’d rather mate the Alpha’s handsome Head of Security.
Roaming Free is the third book in The Omega Date Diaries series. I continue to be amazed by Odin’s stories. I find along with the sexy times and love story that there is always something that speaks to me. In this story it is Taly’s personal struggles with his Wolf and the fact that he cannot control when or where he shifts. His mental connection with his Wolf is faulty and he shifts when he is too anxious, or too excited and he fears hurting someone so he stays away from others. ( For me Anxiety and Panics can sometimes feel like an out of control “wolf” taking over my body.) This story is full of Love, HEAT and Acceptance. Taly and Roam’s story is a real page turner. Make sure you have time and zero distractions because your going to want to read this book straight through! I highly recommend Roaming Free as well as the other books in this series! I wish I could have given more than 5 stars! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
On his travels he meets Ezra, his destined mate, and a tiger. Ezra and all tigers are footloose and fancy free, so at first he fights the mating because he can’t see himself tied down to a mate, especially bears who like to build a den and stay in one place.
Summary: Levi Ackerman is a Werewolf and an Omega who lives a rather quiet life in his cottage in the woods. Sure, his Witch neighbor Hange can get irritating and Erwin, the worst Ghost in existence as he is completely incapable of scaring anyone, can grate on his nerves. Especially when the Ghost is insistent on haunting his home.
I’m not big into M/M romance, but have to admit that the idea of a man carrying a baby sucked me in. The storyline was on point but I wanted to know more about both Cam and Harris. And the cousin. That twist needed to be developed more. There were some editing issues, but the biggest was Cam’s ex-boyfriend. In the beginning of the book it was mentioned that he left him for another man, BUT when Cam was telling Harris about it, a woman was mentioned.
When asked about their favourite part about Omegaverse, ren (male, 18-25, USA) wrote: “since fandoms refuse to write trans characters I like being able to hc [headcanon] characters as trans while reading a/b/o”. Nondeducible from above says “the idea of omegaverse is inherently transphobic – instead of “ass babies” why not write about trans or intersex people who do exist in real life.”
The smudge of trees was still a distance away. Here and there, Alvarr bent his head to pull some of the half-dried plains grass. It was tough, but sweet. He only hoped it would not make his thirst worse.
I ended up a bit ambivalent about this book. I didn’t particularly like Blake and didn’t understand his desire to kick against the pricks in his mid-20s as if he were still 16. I definitely related more to Josh in pretty much all ways.
But you couldn’t move out of his way. How could you? You had to rescue Kaneki from Yamori despite Ayato yelling he was dead. You could remember Touka’s distraught face when she tried to attack him but you stopped her. You became angry he was trying to tear down her strong will. She was his sister after all! What an arrogant prick.
