“Mpreg Platypus Mpreg Fanfics And Stories”

This is a non-shifter ABO story, and it starts off with Braun being sent to an omega halfway house after his father passes away, as he’s not deemed capable of taking care of himself, let alone have control over his own life. Perhaps fortuitously, Braun witnesses a terrible abuse on one of his fe …more

Dean’s heart jumped and his stomach twisted when he began to see a brighter light start to release from him. Castiel’s hands finally made it out of the hunter and all of the angel’s stared in awe at the bright beacon of light that he held in his hands.

The Contingency Plan by mightypog –  When Sally and Greg prevent Sherlock from committing suicide when he thinks John has been killed, Sherlock and Sally reconsider each other. (bit of angst, nothing heavy) (this is so real like this is exactly how canon Sherlock will react if anything happens to John) (my fave)

Zoey Ellis writes dark-edged, speculative romances bursting with passionate, carnal steam. She loves tortured, possessive, alpha heroes and is obsessed with exploring love in its raw form, and how that can manifest in different circumstances and settings.

Sam Winchester had always been an early riser. His brother Dean made fun of him, but ever since he was young he’d always be up before his brother, and this day was no different. Except for the smiling angel in the kitchen.

Adam having seen how much energy it takes to birth a baby, decided to rest and gather his strength until it was time. The other man started walking around his hut placing a blanket on the sandy floor for the eggs that would come out of the man. As minutes turned into hours, Adam could see the other man getting tired as he started pacing.

That’s not always the case, of course, yet several respondents complained that it does happen. Here are two more quotes on how the genre affects the depiction of characters, both from the Sherlock fandom:

I made a commitment to this fic and I intend to see it through to the end. But I am finding it hard right now because of my college course and poor mental health. Not to mention I’ve been struggling with writers block a lot.

I personally see fanfiction as a subversive act with subversive potential. Just like slash can be written in a way that it questions heteronormativity and prevailing assumptions or stereotypes, Omegaverse is endowed with the same possibilities. However, it’s also possible that authors reproduce misogyny in their stories, reinscribing heteronormative narratives onto the Alpha/Omega binary. For example, the strong Alpha protects the weaker, submissive Omega, thus mirroring conventional romance plots that have women being rescued and men being tough, etc.

A 46,XY mother who developed as a normal woman underwent spontaneous puberty, reached menarche, menstruated regularly, experienced two unassisted pregnancies, and gave birth to a 46,XY daughter with complete gonadal dysgenesis.

Another thing that bugged me was that the author made no mention of Cory in Rian’s book, but supposedly they’re as close as brothers. It’d have been nice to get to know Cory a bit so I’d be excited to read about him. I was contemplating reading the next book, hoping the omega would be Alan but nope, someone else we’ve never heard about. I think I’ll take a pass on the rest of this series for now as I’m just not invested and have a feeling they will all play out in a similar fashion.

Is the world really falling apart? Is the ideal of progress obsolete? Cognitive scientist and public intellectual Steven Pinker urges us to step back from the gory headlines and prophecies of doom, and instead, follow the data: In seventy-five jaw-dropping graphs, Pinker shows that life, health, prosperity, safety, peace, knowledge, and happiness are on the rise. At twenty-eight, James Warrington, only son and heir to Warrington Ltd—a billion-dollar dynasty of oil-freighters—feels like his life’s course is set. But in order to take over the leadership, he needs to be a proven Alpha: mated and sire to the next Warrington leader.

I would give it 5, but there are few chapters of Mark, where “Mark goes saving himself”. It’s a hint for the author, for one can clearly see the story has been switched around, who goes saving who, and it makes you hop out of the story itself. Otherwise – the chemistry between Seke and Mark was very nicely written and can’t wait for the third book, for that little thing aside, I think I’ll read it again and I can’t wait for the polar bear to show itself again.

He reached into a small pouch he kept tied to his widened waist where he kept a knife, and cut the cord to his baby and tied it off tightly. His stomach suddenly contracted again and he groaned while he kept his baby in his arms, and started to bear down. The pressure in his anus grew even worse.

Initially not wanting to settle down, James meets Stewart; devastatingly good-looking, charming and aloof, Stewart is James never knew he wanted—except that he seems to have something against James and everything he stands for.

It may take readers some time to see it this way – I for sure spent a long time being weirdly fascinated by A/B/O until I realised how much social commentary is hiding under the emphasis on porn. I’m not alone. As Jade (nonbinary, they/them, panromantic asexual, 18-25, USA) recounts: “I do remember finding it really odd and not entirely pleasant until I discovered some omegaverse fic that focused on gender, relatonship, and social dynamics rather than on kinky sex.” Referring to The Guilded Cage, emptycel (female, bisexual, 18-25, USA) “I read beautifulfiction’s Guilded Cage first, which was a great introduction to the world because it paints a complex society, and not one just driven by lust and mpreg.”

Where I Have Been for the Last 3-4 Months…So as you people who watch my page know, I haven’t really been active for a while. I guess I just ran out of time to log on and try to get some writing finished for once. But that is changing. I will log on as much as I can this year. With winter break ending in a couple of days, now was the perfect time to work DA into my daily routine. So hopefully you have all been okay without me. I have also been spending more time on Archive of Our Own, so you can follow me there! I love you all and I hope you are having a great day!
