Castiel held the being close to him once more before passing it to Dean, who felt his entire body warm up to the being. He never wanted to let go and he now knew he would do anything for this innocent creature. His children. He hadn’t thought or ever expected to have two but he wasn’t going to complain.
Comments: Unloyal_Olio writes some of the most consistently good omegaverse fic in several fandoms, but this is my favourite of hers from Teen Wolf. A plotty romance about Derek and Stiles’ evolving relationship, even as their studies and careers take them in different directions (with great Lydia cameos). Sequel to the events of Kick.
The 3rd book in the series continues to expand this interesting premise of a world populated only by men. All the characters from the previous books appear here to continue to flesh out their stories. I like the interaction between the 2 main characters. The omega is mute, the alpha a constable. Through a series of events they meet and realize they are meant to be together. Don’t like spoilers so none here. If you want to read a good love story try this one and the others in the series.
Summary: AU in which Alphas are like royalty and are offered their choice of any age eighteen-and-up virgin Omega for each year’s heat season, as a ‘thank-you’ to all they’ve done for their compounds throughout the year. Derek is an Alpha and…yeah, Stiles. Stiles is an Omega. And still a virgin. In every way. And he’s just turned eighteen. This…is not his day.
“Hello there! Are you looking for someone?” You turn towards the voice to find a tall man with blonde hair. Not the tall blonde you’re looking for, but you assume that he may know of your boyfriends whereabouts.
The idea for Unexpected Love came after wondering what would happen if two people were forced into a relationship in order to survive. What if one of them had recently decided he never wanted to depend on anyone else? The characters themselves came along shortly afterwards. Jack and Tristan needed to develop along their journey together, which made for a lot of eagerness when it came around to writing it.
Castiel’s wings shot out with excitement as he went to take the child back; Gabriel allowed him and just smiled as Castiel gently ran a hand over the soft hair. He was shocked; most infants were nearly bald when born but this one had already an inch thick of dark brown hair that was very unruly.
The Last DanceHex got off the couch and walked to his room. He smiled as he picked up the tux sitting on his bed. He had to have it special made due to his condition. He touched his stomach and smiled as his baby acted up. “Soon baby, soon we’ll see daddy again.” The father of his child was taking him to prom. In an hour Blake would be there to pick him up. He still has to shower and get dressed up. This is probably the last fun he will have for a while. Hex is 2 weeks away from his due date. He figured that once the baby is born he will be stuck home every day.
Some Information About Short Story:This story takes place on a college campus. The two main characters are my own OCs, Jarris Williams and Nathaniel Jacobs. We come into the story with Jarris, three weeks past his expected due date.
What do you do, when it’s been 4 yrs since your love has passed? You have a son to raise yet you are so very alone and lonely? And you are an Omega? Go on a dating site and hope that someone decent responds to your post. That’s what Roam did. He never expected to find someone he clicked with.

“It can’t happen yet, ahh, Cas, please, De—, ahh…!” Sam couldn’t say anything after that and kept screaming and trying to breathe at the same time. There was a small part of Dean, just a tiny part that was terrified for his brother; he fucking despised that feeling and felt his hatred for his brother grow.
Still, lots of readers love the smut. Luna (female, bi, 18-25, Finland) enjoys the wild and animalistic nature of A/B/O, calls it “a total holiday from everyday life” where rules differ. Alex Reid (genderqueer, they/them, greyromantic bisexual, 18-25, Serbia) likes that “everything is wet and messy, lots of come and size kink”. Different rules include some animalistic diction, which can be a squick for some. Similarly, some see Omegaverse as some form of bestiality – and either like or dislike that.
Another respondent who pointed towards a certain ambiguity in their dislike for A/B/O is Abby (female, bisexual, 18-25, UK). She criticises “the societal sexism towards Omegas or the internalised sexism. Feels too much like homophobia and sexism rolled into one, which I just can’t stand.” Yet she continues: “It’s funny because I actually enjoy the societal sexism in PWP fics. Like, as a kink that is role-play or just PWP that you can interpret as role-play, I enjoy it (not the internalised homophobia/sexism though – like I mentioned earlier, it’s a complete no-no for me) but having an au where the society treats Omegas as second-class citizens feels too much like an interpretation of our current society and I read fanfic to escape it.”
When five colleagues are forced to go on a corporate retreat in the wilderness, they reluctantly pick up their backpacks and start walking down the muddy path. But one of the women doesn’t come out of the woods. And each of her companions tells a slightly different story about what happened. Federal Police Agent Aaron Falk has a keen interest in the whereabouts of the missing hiker.
Zoram has a problem, he has found his mate in a dragon that was caught by the drakes, something not accepted by his father, as the dragons and drakes are at war. He has to find a way to be with his mate and keep his father from killing them both. MM
At twenty-three years old, Omega Brion has still yet to experience his first heat. Brion has always admired the Alpha of his pack – from a respectable distance, of course. After all, how could a lowly Omega such as him ever even dream of an Alpha like Jasper? But when Brion’s first heat suddenly hits him in the middle of the spring festival preparations, there is only man to relieve his agony…
“How dubcon is can get sometimes. The “acceptance” of rape as a way to advance the story, especially in stories where the omega is raped and the alpha is immediately able to then “cure” the omega with sex.” (courtney k., female, straight, 18-25, USA)
I personally see fanfiction as a subversive act with subversive potential. Just like slash can be written in a way that it questions heteronormativity and prevailing assumptions or stereotypes, Omegaverse is endowed with the same possibilities. However, it’s also possible that authors reproduce misogyny in their stories, reinscribing heteronormative narratives onto the Alpha/Omega binary. For example, the strong Alpha protects the weaker, submissive Omega, thus mirroring conventional romance plots that have women being rescued and men being tough, etc.
Fans of omegaverse and gay paranormal romance will drool over this steamy wolf shifter romance. Detailed sex and strong language make this 70,000-word story alpha/omega male pregnancy tale an adults-only read.
That Freddy did. He and Chica waited on stage for Bonnie while telling the kids to be patient. After what seemed like forever, he finally appeared. The kids opened their mouths to ask him where he’d been, only to be put off by how sick and unstable he looked.
Another interesting fact is that, at it’s core, Slow Heat is a May/December romance. Vale is an omega in his mid-thirties while Jason is a 19 year-old alpha. I love when authors go against the stereotypes. In fact, there are quite a few examples of in the book. Not only is Vale older but he is also a professor while Jason is just a student. This to me is a prime example of how and where roles come to play in their relationship. Another pair who do not fit the typical mold is Jason’s parents. There is something special about an alpha male that cooks.
Opinions on this vary; different fics deal with this in different way – or not at all, in some cases. A/B/O fics run the risk of glossing over the issue of consent, which a majority of my survey participants found highly problematic.
