Well lucky for you it’s exactly my cup of tea! I went with post-serum Steve, because pre-serum, ball-of-sickness Steve giving birth sounds like asking for trouble and hospital births around the 1930s/40s were an actual mess so…yeah… Hope you enjoy! -Jenna

A tired smile tugs at the corner of Dean’s lips as he remembers exactly why he’s had to work so late, recently. He and Cas had been mated just over six months now and Dean’s last rut had been the first time their cycles synced.

This is a new author for me and didn’t know what to expect. As I began reading it I thought, well as the cover showed it’s an MMR, which was fine with me, and as I began reading I really liked the description of the alpha. Then as we get further into the story, I’m saying what the heck, this is just too much. But, like I said I liked the alpha and wanted to see where this very different take on shifters was going. Well I’m not doing spoilers just let say this was a new twist on a paranormal wolf shifter story. To me it was a great love story, a little out there but well wrote. If you’re looking for a paranormal shifter story with a twist, and believe me when I say with a twist I’m recommending this story and am looking forward to what other twist this author has in store.

Niso gripped the pregnant male’s shoulders to keep him calm, nodding. “Your water just broke Francis, just breathe and push.” He said soothingly, reaching down to rub at Francis’ stomach. Wordlessly, Niso guided Francis, leaning him as far back as possible before his head was under water to give as much space needed for the baby to pass through. “You have to push on the contractions!” He stressed, looking down at Francis’ swollen stomach and frowning worriedly. Francis whined and gripped Niso’s hand tightly, terrified. He was there for both his labours and he’d seen what birth was like. “Nnnhh…N-No..” He shook his head weakly, “Make it stop!..Hurts!” His anus felt so full, stuffed painfully with pressure he couldn’t release. Sweat poured from his brow. He thrashed in the waters, hands frantically clutching at the rims of the tub for support while he hoisted his torso out of the bath, and strained. “Ahh…ahh…H-help..!” Francis cried out, groaning as the baby’s head engaged his rectum, shredding the muscular tissues.

I’ve been in a reading slump for weeks now and i’ve also been MIA in social media and pretty much everything else so I had no idea this book was released. Imagine by surprise when I saw it on amazon…so of course I bought it then berated myself for not paying more attention to my surroundings. ANYWAY…this book brought me out of my reading slump. I love Jax and Karter. In the first books I wasn’t a huge fan of Karter Jenks but in those books there was also some character growth. I wasn’t quite …more

SEAL sniper Ed Adami has a great bunch of guys around him, a good Navy career, and a best friend in Colin he can always rely on – who he’s been in love with that since grade school. But he knows Colin doesn’t want a husband and kids, so he’s kept his attraction a secret.

What sticks in my mind is that Tarek truly does treat Braun as an equal, even if his alpha tendencies do get him in trouble from time to time. I enjoyed witnessing Tarek allowing Braun to blossom and become his own person, all while building a relationship with him. For an alpha, Tarek is a romantic at heart and I enjoyed watching him ‘grovel’ to Braun when he made mistakes.

Stiles and Derek are getting along, but they’re not a family, and they’re sure as hell not mates. Christ, they’re basically just two stupid guys who happened to get pregnant because of a full moon and sheer dumb luck.

My interest was even more piqued when I read the author’s introduction in which she names the current political situation in the US and Leta’ Blake’s Slow Heat (a book I thoroughly loved) as major inspirations.

There was no blood in the water, so he hadn’t just had a miscarriage, but the feeling of the pain that had just happened wasn’t normal and it scared the new parent. Pumping his tail, he swam upward. Perhaps he needed to lay back with his legs up, and there was a tiny patch of rocks near where he was that would do the job.

Mpreg Part2/3Brett woke up and saw her sleeping. He felt better but whenever he moved his belly jolted with pain. He was afraid something bad happened to his baby. He set aside the thought and brought a blanket and draped Vicky. He went into the kitchen and was starting to make dinner when his belly was tight. He rubbed it to ease the pain but it still hurt every now and then. Vicky woke up to smell burning. She quickly got up and looked around through the thin layer of steam. She saw Brett laying on the kitchen floor coughing. She ran over to him and checked if he was okay. She saw the stove burning on fire. She grabbed the fire extinguisher and blew out the stove. After a few minutes the steam was starting to go away. She helped him on the couch and noticed he was in pain coming from his stomach. She massaged his belly and looked up at him. “DONT DO ANY WORK!! From now on I will!! You got me WORRIED!!” Vicky looks away and starts crying. “V-Vicky. I’m sorry. I just wanted to help.” “Well don’t.”

The human political plotline was another that had some great ideas but wasn’t pulled off as smoothly as liked, including brief treatment of two human factions (part of the same team) that seemed to be at odds with any kind of organized effort by a human government to take an issue like this seriously. (People showing up at official, extremely sensitive, top-secret, and should-be-very-carefully-managed negotiations unannounced. A strike force that seemed to be spotted from miles away slowly surrounding and capturing an entire large group that should have easily been able to slip away, but they seemed to just stand there and wait to be surrounded and captured.)

This book was really intense! The plot completely drew me in, and the characters made it even better. I love the way Derrick and Rowan met for the first time. I enjoyed reading this one, especially because of the amount of shifter lore in it.

Book wasn’t really for me. Blake was really selfish and immature. And wasn’t alpha like at all, you know he wasn’t protective or gentle and caring with his Omega, Josh. You know when you read a alpha omega romance and the omega has been through hard times and an amazing alpha comes in to give love, support and respect. Those are great. This one is the opposite. Blake only want josh for sex. Its frustrating because you really just want josh to be loved and cuddled. But in this book he is cursed at and used. It was sad the way Josh was treated and had been treated through his life by other alpha and betas.

On his way home from a meeting of the North American werewolf council, Armand La Marche is stopped in his limousine by a boy who is hurt by an unknown assailant who murdered his friend. After decades of searching, Armand has found his mate. There is one problem, someone is trying to kill Sean.

Dean Mathews leads a normal, if boring life. His career, his home, his social life, none of it is really what he wanted for himself, but it’s the life he has nonetheless. A small coincidence brings him the opportunity to take ownership of his grandfather’s old farm, to bring the place under his wing and careful hand. This choice will lead him from his old life to face a host of new challenges, most of which he expected. The unforeseen comes in the form of Mikael Reed, a simple carpenter – with a few secrets.

“Harry, could you loosen your grip just a bit? I can’t feel my fingers,” asked Draco, futilely trying to pry Harry’s fingers away from his arm. He flinched when Harry’s hand gripped just a little harder before he shoved Draco’s arm away from him. The Draco realized exactly what Harry had just said. “You’re in labour? Oh elf, am so sorry.”

“Oh look at her wings!” Castiel whispered, his grace lighting when the eyes opened as his little green eyed girl woke up. Her wings were bright white with a silvery cast over them. Streaks of almost metallic violet blue shone throughout the tiny, grace slickened wings that were now stickily covering her body.

Braun is a rarity….a 20 year old omega who hasn’t gone into his first heat and is still unmated. He’s terrified of mating. His alpha father and his brother’s alpha are both incredibly cruel men and he can’t ever see trusting someone like that to hold his life. But then he meets Tarek.

Ernt Allbright, a former POW, comes home from the Vietnam war a changed and volatile man. When he loses yet another job, he makes an impulsive decision: He will move his family north, to Alaska, where they will live off the grid in America’s last true frontier.
