Down with this Ship by FrostedFlame (PinkOrchid) – Sherlock takes John to a gay bar expecting him to be uncomfortable but BAM John the Raging Bisexual comes out to play and shocks the fuck out of the detective.
I’m squicked out by the power dynamics. I don’t want my beloved characters part of a world with dubiously consensual sex, oppression and discrimination on the basis of their gender, intensely strengthened gender norms, being made helpless with undesired child bearing and being a prisoner of their biology. It feels too much like choosing to roll around in the nastier bits of historical (and current) discrimination against women.” (aaa, female, straight-ish, 25-30, Australia)
Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it…. The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew “Ender” Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

As the weeks went by, Chris’ belly got larger and larger, but he was never uncomfortable. His skin seemed to grow quickly enough to avoid stretch-marks or unpleasantness, but the baby inside seemed much lighter than it would seem, considering its size. At two weeks, Christopher’s stomach was the size of a small beach ball, and he held it before him as if it were one, filled with not much more than air.
“I can feel the head.” He feably replied. Oikawa spent no time trying to digest his husband’s words and lifted him with ease and ran towards the entrance of the mall, people getting out of his way as soon as they saw the glazed over look in his eyes.
“As transphobic as it is, I also enjoy putting a male character in a female position in society because I can visualize, empathize with that situation more.” (missingnolovefic, female, queer, 18-25, Germany)
Mpreg PrisonsA teenager male, Harold, was sent to prison for stealing. He was 22 years old and would get out at 25 years old. He had a boring life in his prison cell with 5 other guys. Some weren’t very nice but some were. He often got into fights with the mean ones but were stopped by the guards. One day, the groups were outside working out when Harold went to sit on a bench in the corner. He saw a figure move behind the building so he went to check it out. Someone from behind blocked his mouth with a cloth sending him unconscious. He woke up in his cell with the others. Everything was normal, the people, his clothes, him. He thought it was a dream and he didn’t care much. As 2 months passed he grew tired everyday, his muscles were sore, he felt sick. He didn’t know what was going on so he told a guard he may need to get checked out since he wasn’t his usual self. They sent a doctor to him and a guard was also sent just in case. Harold heard his results that he was already 2 months pregnant. He wa
My issue with this story is how it was presented. It’s noted here on Amazon that it’s over 500 pages. Obviously this is completely false. I finished this story in about an hour so I’d say it was under 100 pages. Now I realize the page length on any blurb is up to Amazon getting it right but who’s at fault here, especially when it holds another story. Nothing in the blurb about another story following this one, but I wanted to finish what wasn’t written about Rocco and Kade. I wondered if Kade was now shifting and being more familiar with his wolf. I also wondered Rocco did in his spare time besides fix up the house and care for the dogs. Is he a house husband? There’s no mention of schooling, training, or what he’ll do outside his pack structure. I pictured Kade working himself to the bone with a job and heavy volunteer work and Rocco sitting around. And I never understood why a pack wolf would fight for leadership when it wasn’t Rocco’s to give. That whole thing came off as a vendetta against Rocco and I kept expecting this defeated wolf to pop up and harass Kade. So yes, the story was short and unfulfilling. It was okay, I wanted more. 3 stars. – Dan’s Wife

Hearing the banter between the two of them, I look over and smile before turning my attention back to cooking Tom’s sandwich. Nearly a decade ago, I never would have thought of getting married, much less having children. But now here I am; a loving husband, two beautiful children, and he’s giving me a third… Didn’t think I’d ever be this lucky.
