I love fic that’s a bit different, and this is definitely different. It’s got a very unusual narrative structure, but it’s perfect for the fic, which has a creepy, unsettled vibe, due to the nature of the story its telling. It’s angsty and sad and beautiful. I really liked it.
I loved Karter! from the moment he met his mate, he was in protective mode. Jax couldn’t speak, so he was very patient with communicating with him. He also didn’t mind that he was older and already an om …more
I definitely enjoyed Arthur’s take on the omegaverse trope. This type of storyline typically focuses on alpha/beta/omega non shifters in an alternate world. Mpreg and mating heat are often a big part of thes …more
Dean knew it was going to hurt and he didn’t want to hurt the child. He turned his eyes to the other archangels in the room for help and all three of them instantly straightened out to take the child.
Joel went back between the man’s legs as a medium-sized egg started to crown, stretching the man’s sore hole grotesquely. He rubbed his hands together and prepared to catch the egg, but the man had stopped pushing and was panting and groaning, just lying there and trying to gain his strength back.
I couldn’t put this book down!!! It’s so great I powered through a migraine to finish this. Every time I laughed it made it worth it. Love you, Moore is my favorite but this one is now tied with it!!!! The writing is great, it’s easy to fall in love with each character. The way that she blends two worlds together seamlessly is amazing. A shifter series set in the world of her previous contemporary series is hilarious, and has amazingly funny ties back to that series as you see those series from a whole different point of view. My favorite parts are where she blends the two worlds. It’s got humor and love, what else do you need? I highly recommend this book and anything else written by this author.
Trapped by a MonsterDoctors said that I was a medical anomaly. Never, in the history of mankind, has there been a documented instance of a biological male become pregnant. This was news. Big news. And there was no way to keep this covered up for long.
Alpha/Omega couples are the most biologically compatible and fertile couples. Betas are either infertile or less highly sexed. Usually, there is an element of soul bonding included in an Alpha/Omega coupling that Betas are incapable of achieving, and the bond is usually accomplished by a bite over a gland in the neck (because werewolves, remember?)
1. Magic Eight Ball by tigersilver: Hermione brings a Muggle device to their usual after-work drinking sessions; Malfoy is utterly fascinated. Harry is not, especially as Malfoy keeps asking it questions about his personal life. *** This fic is on the lighter side compared to the others on this list. One of the only stories that has caused me to squeal.

Most omega werewolves want a mate and pups, but Lee Aung prefers an unconventional party-boy lifestyle. Yet at 42, he’s stopped going into heat, which means he’s expired goods – no longer a fertile, young omega that alpha wolves drool over. So Lee scams free samples of Wet Heat, a synthetic pheromone, by pretending to be a happily mated test subject at Wet Heat headquarters. There, Lee spends two years being interviewed by the reserved alpha scientist, Cain.

This fic is equal parts terrifying and gorgeous. AmandaDBone imagines what would happen if mysterious dust were to fall from the sky and wreak havoc on human biology. It’s a think-piece disguised as sci-fi disguised as poetry, and I personally feel it is wildly underrated.
Omegaverse is really a fascinating fandom invention. 50% of it is totally problematic and reinforcing a lot of fucked up patriarchal, rape culture values. The other 50% is some of the most insightful, subversive social commentary I’ve ever read on gender identity/gender roles/queer oppression.
