It was on the way to the infirmary that Spy’s waters finally broke. It came out in one big gush, leaving a large puddle on the floor and making it look like the Frenchman had pissed himself. This only added to Spy’s humiliation.
I understand the idea that not every romantic couple needs to clash again and again, and not every minor or major issue needs to be driven into a soap-opera style confrontation. However, the extreme level of nonchalance for major developments (that could shake the future of their entire world) and over-the-top trust (for characters who did not seem to have yet really earned it yet from each other) just made the scenes rather unbelievable and simply just too pat for my preferences.
Pretty sure “envy” isn’t the word I’d use to describe, say, your average omega!Dean forced pregnancy story. This sort of makes me want to post my own “plausible science” mpreg story to the forum mentioned in the article, to see what reception it gets in a more mixed-gender audience.
Prosecutor Kris Jameson is ready to call off his search for true love. Abandoned at birth and raised by humans, Kris seems destined to repeat the cycle of abandonment, falling over and over again for self-centered alphas that won’t commit. Deciding that OmegaDate—a glorified hook-up app as far as Kris is concerned—has brought nothing but grief to his life, Kris decides to delete the app for good; but not before a message from a sweet and gorgeous alpha comes his way, prompting Kris to give the app one final try. And though first date with fellow attorney Jax Hollister begins with intense mutual attraction, it soon turns disastrous, leaving them both trying to forget that the encounter ever happened.
It is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media – as well as Amy’s fiercely doting parents – the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he’s definitely bitter – but is he really a killer?
“The possibility that bodies aren’t bound by the conceptions of gender and sexuality that society rigidly thrusts upon us. That somewhere there is an extraterrestrial civilization or another dimension or whatever magical creature that effortlessly destroys the gender binary.” -Lina
The day went by pretty quickly. All I was busy doing was ignoring Dylan. Unfortunately he was in one of my classes. For that class, I packed my things before the bell so I could zoom out of the classroom before Dylan. It was a success.
The egg slipped free and Joel caught it and the moment he put it down, a gush of fluids exited from the man and he was soon groaning and clutching at his still hugely pregnant belly again, trying to push the rest of the 20-odd eggs out. It was close to dusk and Joel contemplated going to sleep to leave the man to give birth to the eggs alone. After all, he had a long day tomorrow, trying to find other people who ate from the ‘poisoned-berry’ bush.
Misconceptions by Diana Williams — early, long (60 parts) Highlander AU with Methos becoming pregnant. As Immortals are normally incapable of bearing children, a lot of stories in the fandom tried to figure out ways to give the Immortals children. Sometimes a threesome was required, sometimes the Immortal had to be over several thousand years old, and sometimes…well, things happened. (Started sometime in 2001.)
Comments: If you can stand the angst and the misunderstandings early on, the payoff (involving the most realistic yet charmingly funny birth scene ever) is well worth it. And it now has a bunch of sequels filled with adorable Arthur/Eames-spawn, hooray!
Alfred’s knees shook violently and he threatened to collapse but he gave a humungous push and the baby slid into its uncles waiting arms who quickly took out his pocket knife and cut the cord connecting the baby to its mother.
In fact, two weeks after the incident, he and Becca decided to take their friendship a bit further and began their official relationship (although both of them had considered dating each other earlier, and many people assumed they alrea
When the pool was finally filled, the taps shut off automatically, and Laura began undressing herself. She dropped her sweatpants and wet panties to the ground and pulled her white shirt off. She left her bra on to keep her swollen breasts from sagging onto her belly. She slowly went down the steps into the water, clutching her belly. She wasn’t nervous about giving birth alone, since she found herself immune to pain her whole life, though, she had to admit, these contr
“I’m transgender and mpreg creates a space where we can challenge only women being able to be pregnant in stories. While it’s not often that the characters are trans men (more often or not it’s supernatural reasons like magic or a/b/o biology etc), it does still challenge cisnormative assumptions that it’s only women who can get pregnant. So that’s cool.” -Anonymous
When the mage awoke, it was just before dawn. Alvarr’s throat was on fire with thirst. His whole body ached, but no water would come to him inside the cave. He got to his legs. To his relief, they held him.
This was super sweet. I mean melt in your mouth fall in love kind of romance. It had its sexy moments too but Mac and Jason are the epitome of a falling in love more and more as you learn about someone. They were not even supposed to be the couple, or so it seemed at first, but the more they got to know one another the more they fell in love. I love that it wasnt instant just because of a mating thing like most shifter stories. most of the time its a destined thing and thats that. well this is so much better. they get to be sweet and lovey and learn more and more about one another to love day after day. more romance books should be written this way.
The idea for Unexpected Love came after wondering what would happen if two people were forced into a relationship in order to survive. What if one of them had recently decided he never wanted to depend on anyone else? The characters themselves came along shortly afterwards. Jack and Tristan needed to develop along their journey together, which made for a lot of eagerness when it came around to writing it.
Adam nodded knowing the man was right, having to get them out by pushing hard as he could. The other man keeping his legs apart, Adam held onto the sheets that were beneath him so he have something to grab onto.
What is the nature of space and time? How do we fit within the universe? How does the universe fit within us? There’s no better guide through these mind-expanding questions than acclaimed astrophysicist and best-selling author Neil deGrasse Tyson. But today, few of us have time to contemplate the cosmos. So Tyson brings the universe down to Earth succinctly and clearly, with sparkling wit, in digestible chapters consumable anytime and anywhere in your busy day.
”I’ll help! I’ll help!” Grell cries,Shielding himself from Sebastian,Although he should be used to his raging hormones on top of his general personality by now,Him having been the one impregnating Sebastian and Sebastian never forgiving him for it. ”What do you need?” He asks.
The novel starts as a typical first person. Jason riddles off pointless details about himself, and then we’re thrown into his on the run lifestyle with his father, which brings me to my first issue. The telling. Huge problem in this book is the telling. We’re told Jason is nurturing, we’re told about his heats, we’re told he’s afraid, we’re told, through Mac’s pov that he’s traumatized. Meanwhile I’m waiting to be shown this world of shifters and the enclave which is actually interesting. Eventually we’re shown these things with minute detail, but it would have been so much sexier to see Jason writhing in his bed, tossing and turning from the heat pulsating though him, to make us feel his need!
Comments: If someone held up a gun to Bryan Fuller’s head and told him to convert Hannibal into a show set in the omegaverse, I think this is exactly how he’d do it. Incredibly true to both the feel and logic of the show’s canon, this is a brilliant and tightly-plotted psychological fic with a deliciously conniving Hannibal and an achingly courageous Will. It also forces the reader to consider the dilemma of having both the best and worst things in your life be one and the same. Easily my favourite story in the fandom, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Hellfire by testosterone_tea – Magical Realism! John is a Berserker (powerful fire monster thing that’s supposed to be extinct) and is believed to be a threat to the country and Mycroft wants him held captive so of course Mage Sherlock is like NO.
Wow whoever reads this please know that I noticed that I had unintentionally changed the baby’s gender throughout the story. It doesn’t matter what the gender is though so just use your imagination or pick which gender you would like the baby to be. Thank you for understanding.
Now the two men not only have to navigate a confusing mix of emotions and figure out what the bond between them means, they have to do so in complete secrecy. Not even members from Ryan’s own pack can know. After all, it won’t be just their lives that are impacted should they fail–their unborn pup would also be in danger.
I personally see fanfiction as a subversive act with subversive potential. Just like slash can be written in a way that it questions heteronormativity and prevailing assumptions or stereotypes, Omegaverse is endowed with the same possibilities. However, it’s also possible that authors reproduce misogyny in their stories, reinscribing heteronormative narratives onto the Alpha/Omega binary. For example, the strong Alpha protects the weaker, submissive Omega, thus mirroring conventional romance plots that have women being rescued and men being tough, etc.
Pregnancy is about the same as in the real world. For Betas at least. For the Omegas, everything sort of changes and flips their world around especially one who has never had a child before. The male Omegas chest will grow to around an a-cup to help feed their child. The Omegas will most likely be happy about having a child. The Alpha will become more and more protective of not just their Omega but also the small child growing inside of the Omega.
The Pillars of the Earth tells the story of Philip, prior of Kingsbridge, a devout and resourceful monk driven to build the greatest Gothic cathedral the world has known…of Tom, the mason who becomes his architect – a man divided in his soul…of the beautiful, elusive Lady Aliena, haunted by a secret shame…and of a struggle between good and evil that will turn church against state, and brother against brother.
The shock Freddy had been feeling gave way to joy and he gave Bonnie a bear hug. ”Bonnie, we’re having a baby!” he said happily. Soon, Chica was laughing with happiness, and then Bonnie found it in him to join in. He and Freddy were going to be parents!
Adam felt re leaved yet curious as the man walked out holding something in his hand. Still trying to get the egg out, Adam began trying to push on his heavy stomach pushing down hoping anything would work.
