“I dislike the whole concept of [A/B/O]. I mean, sure there are parallels to ways of life in the real world where there are alpha people who kind of have the power over others, but that’s because it’s in different cultures, not on a biological level. And my instinct tells me it’s so basically wrong that people/persons can be reduced to animalistic aspects like it’s drawn out in the omegaverse.” (Laura, female, straight, 18-25, Germany)
I feel the need to put a warning from the get go because overall there is a certain sadness all through the story and not everyone can handle that. That’s not to say there isn’t hope in it because there is and lots of love as well. Both characters have very tragic pasts. One of the things I love the most is that we always expect the alpha to be the strong and brave one but here, Tarly is the only who has let fear rule his life while Roam the omega is the bravest of the two. It’s thanks to him that they both will get their much deserve happily ever after.
Adam heard the other man stating the egg was sideways which meant it was stuck. Doing as he was told Adam continued to push as he felt the other man hand trying to turn the egg so that he would be able to push it out.
“I love the way desire can be so entirely overwhelming. I like it when this is presented in a sort of “coming of age” way instead of as more–rapey.” (Iwantthatcoat, agender, she/they, biromantic grey asexual, 40-50, USA)
Castiel held the being close to him once more before passing it to Dean, who felt his entire body warm up to the being. He never wanted to let go and he now knew he would do anything for this innocent creature. His children. He hadn’t thought or ever expected to have two but he wasn’t going to complain.
Crime writer Tarly Bowring can’t sleep at night. Haunted by memories of his troubled past—and the omnipresent threat of danger in his present—he isolates himself in his sprawling mansion far away from Capitol City, only daring to venture into civilization when he’s heavily medicated. That way, he knows he won’t shift at random and lose control.
A.M. Arthur was born and raised in the same kind of small town that she likes to write about, a stone’s throw from both beach resorts and generational farmland. She’s been creating stories in her head since she was a child and scribbling them down nearly as long, in a losing battle to make the fictional voices stop. She credits an early fascination with male friendships (bromance hadn’t been coined yet back then) and “The Young Riders” with her later discovery of and subsequent love affair with m/m romance stories.
Braun Etting was raised to know his place as an omega by his alpha father’s cruel words and fast fists, and he expects nothing but violence from the alpha who may one day mate him. His older brother Kell mated a cruel alpha who abuses him daily, and Braun is terrified of that seemingly inev …more
A quick read for a novel, this story has a nice range of sweet but intriguing, surprising, and entertaining scenes centered on an arranged match between a city Alpha with a demanding, sophisticated, high-powered business family and a country omega with a loving, domestic family and a shadowed secret. The author starts with an intriguing and eventually dramatic introduction and then weaves scenes of past secrets and yearning dreams into the story of two separated would-be mates. I especially appreciated the depth of the supporting characters, from competitively friendly lawyers, demanding and over-protective fathers, wise and doting mothers, to conflicted music teachers.
Dean felt terror as he couldn’t move his body and inch. He could vaguely see through the sheet of blue grace that covered his eyes. The angels were holding him down but it was taking too long. The baby needed out and fast. He panted, holding back his screams as he felt Castiel’s warm thumb rub soothingly over his cheekbone. He let a shaken breath as he felt the cool hand start to slide into his stomach.
Harry carries the deaths of those in from the war heavily on his shoulders all the while trying to help raise his baby godson. At a funeral Harry forms an unlikely bond with a withdrawn and beaten Draco Malfoy. Perhaps the two broken boys can mend each other?
I couldn’t put this book down!!! It’s so great I powered through a migraine to finish this. Every time I laughed it made it worth it. Love you, Moore is my favorite but this one is now tied with it!!!! The writing is great, it’s easy to fall in love with each character. The way that she blends two worlds together seamlessly is amazing. A shifter series set in the world of her previous contemporary series is hilarious, and has amazingly funny ties back to that series as you see those series from a whole different point of view. My favorite parts are where she blends the two worlds. It’s got humor and love, what else do you need? I highly recommend this book and anything else written by this author.
Kade is a workaholic packless omega (raised by his human aunt, has a close relationship with his cousin Poppy) who on top of his demanding job as a social worker, he spends any free time as a volunteer at a local animal shelter. Let’s not forget the fact he has three dogs of his own. After a comment by his boss and a talk to by his cousin, he decides to join OmegaDate and is surprised when he gets a message pretty much immediately from Rocco.
On his way home from a meeting of the North American werewolf council, Armand La Marche is stopped in his limousine by a boy who is hurt by an unknown assailant who murdered his friend. After decades of searching, Armand has found his mate. There is one problem, someone is trying to kill Sean.
But when Mattt arrives, he finds that Hillary needs his help. Unfortunately for Matt, helping her will involve close work with Hillary’s new brother-in-law: the remote, difficult and commanding owner of the company, Drew Matherson.
Other critics are similar in their generalisations and cite many reasons they have a problem with this genre’s treatment of gender roles. I have tried to organise the following list by topic as much as possible, but the categories frequently overlap.
Ewan, meanwhile, finds himself cooped up in an office at all hours, his life a stuffy and miserable one. A tiger shifter himself, he was adopted by a human family when he was only a child, and has never really felt he had much of a place in the world in which he lives. He wonders whether there could possibly be others out there who are like them, or whether he’ll be forced to spend the rest of his life in hiding, denying his true self.
“That’s something that I’d never considered.” Castiel sighed “however, perhaps now is not the time for such regrets.” Sam gave the angel a sympathetic smiled and then wished him good night and went off to his room.
”Yes,Keep your legs like that. It’s hard to do this if your legs are closed,Young Master.” He says before sitting down on the bed in front of Ciel. Before he can do anything,A pain in his stomach causes him to double over over his stomach,A hand automatically snapping to it as he rubs it and tries to steady his own breathing. As it ends,He brushes it off and places his hand on Ciel’s knee and places a finger from his free hand into Ciel’s Anus,Causing Ciel to whimper and snap his legs closed around Sebastian’s hand.
This wasn’t how he had wanted it to go; his mate was no where in sight and he was on land. For a moment he thought about crawling back in, but with how frequent the contractions were coming he knew he’d not have enough time to find his mate and go to their little sanctuary to birth their newborns.
A nice read for fans of omegaverse stories with a some focus on the relationship and setting along with the mating heat (although knotting was only briefly mentioned and the mpreg was slipped past into the epilogue).

Sitting outside on his roof, the red haired half demon enjoyed a smoke as he watched the setting sun toward the West. A cool breeze blew by, the smoke from his cigarette blowing gently in the breeze. He’d had to cut back on smoking the past eight months, and it was honestly killing the man.
I hadn’t heard a narration by Gus Klondike before but he was an excellent choice. He did a great job adding in emotion and differentiating the voices. I really enjoyed this narration and thought it was a great way to experience this book.
The blonde then leaned his head backwards and to his side, offering up his neck and his submission to the two men, hoping that they would accept it and the game he was about to offer them. By now Kakashi had most likely picked up on his aroused scent mixed with his pheromones, the smell of his arousal was all it needed to invite the man at times, so if this blatant invitation didn’t work, then most likely nothing would.
“You are nothing more then a demon’s spawn,” he said, glaring down at the small face. The child had a soft face like his own with dark blue hair that has ashen streaks through it, her eyes looked exactly as Ciel’s did.
