Now let me see if I can properly do this book justice. Starting it I thought best case scenario I would enjoy it enough, and worse case I would have to find something else to review. But neither of those happened, because I not only enjoyed it, I flippin LOVED it. The world building this author created hooked me from the first page. It was so intriguing that I finished it in one sitting, yes me who wasn’t quite sure I would like mpreg book, read it in one day. And it’s not exactly a short book.
Synopsis: With his former, rather abusive alpha dead, Caden is unsure that his new alpha, Fletcher, will truly be any better. The lot of omegas is usually to be playthings and breeders for their alpha masters, but the new alpha indicates he will not breed or impregnate an omega against their will. However, Caden’s work in helping fellow omegas may require him to seduce the new Alpha, who on the surface appears to be much less abusive than his previous master. As both omega and alpha work for their own opposing ends regarding their own safety and survival as well as in broader political struggles, the two have a difficult time resisting the powerful, natural, and sometimes magical attraction between them. (This story is in an omegaverse type of setting.)
They both were going to be parents, soon. And Gojyo was anxious; he’d soon have a child to raise and care for. He was scared; of course he wouldn’t tell Hakkai that. Shaking his head, he looked down at the smoldering
And as the seasons change, I love you more by Teatrolley – A year in the lives of John and Sherlock, essentially. (I will bawl my eyes out, this is so… just so! So much) (This isn’t rated so I’ll just put it under here)
Zeke Kaplan isn’t like most tigers. Where any other tiger would prefer to roam wild and run free, Zeke has been desperately searching for the mate he knows can calm his inner-beast. So when he catches the eye of a weary-eyed bear with a chip on his shoulder, Zeke knows he’s found the one. Convincing the sexy and broad-shouldered giant, however, turns out to be more than a little challenging.
A truly wretched book. Everything seemed designed to annoy me from the fact that there were zero women in the universe to the unlikable main characters and cutesy made up terms like “alphahole” and “omegin.”
Summary: In a world where an unmated pregnant omega is seen as nothing but garbage, what will Arthur do when he loses everything? Oneshot, omegaverse, UsUk, rated T for slight language and sexual implications.
He laid down on his side facing the omega, a dumb affectionate smile fluttering on his lips as he watched Rhys’, the fur on the plush moving with his breath, his belly and chest rising and falling as he slept.

Panting through a few more contractions, Adam gasped when he felt a rush of fluids come out of his opening going onto the edge of the bed, and floor. The next contraction he felt was a little harder as Adam couldn’t help but want to push, “Please….can I push….gawd…”
“Woah, woah! Hey, slow down! Hey…I’m sorry if I didn’t do much explaining or anything. I guess I was a little lost in my heat and just wanted it already, but…” Keith slowly pulled back and looked Lance in the eyes, wiping at his tears. “I like you, Lance. As in…well, in an ‘I want your babies’ type of way.” Lance’s jaw dropped from that, because what the actual fuck?
I personally see fanfiction as a subversive act with subversive potential. Just like slash can be written in a way that it questions heteronormativity and prevailing assumptions or stereotypes, Omegaverse is endowed with the same possibilities. However, it’s also possible that authors reproduce misogyny in their stories, reinscribing heteronormative narratives onto the Alpha/Omega binary. For example, the strong Alpha protects the weaker, submissive Omega, thus mirroring conventional romance plots that have women being rescued and men being tough, etc.
The trope originated in Supernatural fandom with a few very specific AU kink meme prompts for the J2 RPF ship. The first one was in May 2010 and has also been identified as the culprit responsible for the popularity of knotting in SPN fandom:
How would a man conceive and carry a child? How would he give birth? What is it about male pregnancy that is so intriguing? We don’t always have the answers, but visit the Mpreg Discussion board and add your own two cents!
Spy felt another contraction start. Sniper meanwhile, had managed to prize his wrist from his lover’s death grip. Ignoring his own pain, he took hold of the Frenchman’s hand and proceeded to rub his back as he pushed.
Love this series. Shifters and mpreg are always great stories. Rowan finds the well and sees Derrick! He is living a dangerous life when he meets Derrick. Of course things run the way they do and Derrick is pregnant and Rowan is in trouble. HEA for all.
Robert Winston, a pioneer of in-vitro fertilization, told London’s Sunday Times that “male pregnancy would certainly be possible” by having an embryo implanted in a man’s abdomen – with the placenta attached to an internal organ such as the bowel – and later delivered surgically. Ectopic implantation of the embryo along the abdominal wall, and resulting placenta growth would, however, be very dangerous and potentially fatal for the host, and is therefore unlikely to be studied in humans. Gillian Lockwood, medical director of Midland Fertility Services, a British fertility clinic, noted that the abdomen is not designed to separate from the placenta during delivery, hence the danger of an ectopic pregnancy. “The question is not ‘Can a man do it?'” stated bioethicist Glenn McGee. “It’s ‘If a man does have a successful [ectopic] pregnancy, can he survive it?'”
His tail flopped and he tried to get his balance, but the pain wasn’t stopping and he found himself on his back where he floated. He curled in on his stomach and cried out again, then the pain suddenly eased and he was able to catch his breath and right himself slowly. “W-What just happened?” He gasped, looking at his sore belly.
After a bout of ill health his father seems ready to pass the torch at any moment. Unfortunately, the timing couldn’t be any worse. Rocco has only just decided that he needs to part ways with his current boyfriend Skye, but he’s going to need a mate in order for the pack to accept him fully as Alpha—not to mention fend off evil rival Jarvis’ challenge to his status.
Thematically, pregnancy can be similar to the issues of parasitism and gender. Some science fiction writers have picked up on these issues, in “cross-gender” themes—e.g., Octavia E. Butler’s Bloodchild and Other Stories.[clarification needed] Ursula K. Le Guin’s novel The Left Hand of Darkness contains the sentence “The king was pregnant”, and explores a society in which pregnancy can be experienced by anyone, since individuals are not sexually differentiated during most of their life and can become capable of inseminating or gestating at different times. Lois McMaster Bujold’s Ethan of Athos features an all-male society in which men use artificial wombs, but experience many of the psychological effects of pregnancy (anticipation, anxiety, etc.). In Marge Piercy’s feminist utopian novel Woman on the Edge of Time, neither men nor women get pregnant, leaving that to artificial wombs, but both sexes may lactate and nurse the infant; the specifically female experiences of pregnancy and nursing were opened to men in the cause of gender equality.
Birth mpreg 1He is home alone when contractions come. He pushes until his water breaks and his fluid breaks out. He pushes again and again struggling from the pain. The head starts to come when the pressure rises. He pushes and pants to get the baby out.
From a first glance, one would quickly assume him to be an omega, given the anxious expression on his face. The problem with that, though, was that he had just a little too much muscle for it, and even for a beta. Which left only one option; he was an alpha. Had to be, really.
“The nurturing & bonding process of pregnancy stretching beyond gender stereotypes. Different facets of parenting reflected in a male/male relationship (strong omega daddy + tender alpha papa). Baby cuddles.” -Iris
Suddenly, Francis felt the ring of fire return as his anus slowly bulged and stretched around the baby’s head. His chest burned and he paused to draw breath but too late, the had slipped back inside. Get back out here!” Niso felt helpless. He could only stay by the pregnant male and offer just the smallest relief. His hands kneaded the knots in Francis’ heaving flank and lower back, easing some of the pressure. “You’re doing it, just keep pushing. It’s already crowned Francis.” He kissed the laboring male’s shoulder and temple as encouragement then shuffled back to check Francis’ entrance. Niso was able to make out a tuft of dark hair poking out as the baby started to crown, and knew it would come out quickly if Francis gave a hard push.
