I love fic that’s a bit different, and this is definitely different. It’s got a very unusual narrative structure, but it’s perfect for the fic, which has a creepy, unsettled vibe, due to the nature of the story its telling. It’s angsty and sad and beautiful. I really liked it.
“Well, actually, no.” (F/N) sat down at his desk, ramaging through some drawers. “I wanted to ask you if you like it here. At this school, I mean.” (F/N) pushed his glasses up as he pulled out some papers.
Tarly is a recluse, for the most part. He is an author of wildly famous success, but he has no one. Has never kissed anyone or made love with anyone, due to the “affliction” he has. He was told, when young it’s wiser not to be around people for long periods of time. He is an Alpha. He has been on the website but only for video hookups..nothing real, nothing meaningful.
I love reading books about boys who love other boys <3. Sometimes there is a HEA or HFN, but sometimes it just is. Yes, I love all outcomes even it is not what I hoped for. We all need a good cry from time to time. As you can probably can tell, I love cliffhangers as well. Yeah, I am one of those people 🙂 I read a variety of genres, whether it is dark/taboo, historical, shifters, GFY, SciFi, mysteries/thrillers; I love it all. At twenty-eight, James Warrington, only son and heir to Warrington Ltd—a billion-dollar dynasty of oil-freighters—feels like his life's course is set. But in order to take over the leadership, he needs to be a proven Alpha: mated and sire to the next Warrington leader. Some Information About Short Story:This story takes place on a college campus. The two main characters are my own OCs, Jarris Williams and Nathaniel Jacobs. We come into the story with Jarris, three weeks past his expected due date. “Samuel, good morning. And yes I guess I’m a bit excited. Last night, I thought about what you said, and decided that you are right. There are no rules that say that I have to stay with the alpha once I’ve conceived. So I decided to follow you advice and I’m going to start looking for a ‘donor’ right away.” Castiel left the kitchen with the same smile on his face, and missed the growing look of horror in Sam’s face. "Sammy, remember the last time I plowed that little ass of yours. You were moaning like the wanton whore you are. Tell me, how many dicks have you begged for? Probably already lost count, didn't you slut?" Dean said all of that with a smug smile. Each book I read in the series brings me a new favorite couple, so basically it means I love all the couples whose stories we’ve gotten so far and Constable Karter Jenks and Jax Orris are no exception. This story moves on from brothers Braun and Kell, but they are still here with their mates and friends, helping out and moving forward. His thoughts are consumed with crawling into his obscenely comfortable bed, wrapping himself around his mate and sleeping until Monday morning. He may be an alpha, but working three consecutive fourteen hour days can drag anyone down. Eben and Jake's story was a delightful and fun read. i loved Jake and Eben's characters, the wonderful interactions and a good plot. This is a terrific story about learning to trust and being brave enough to let another person truly see who you are. What this book lacks is an ENDING. Crumb, I hate that. I care if we get set up for the next book, which I assume will be Kell's story. I'd be a buyer and I am sure I will still be a buyer, even with my frustration with this one. Nothing wraps up in this book. Tarek and Braun's relationship isn't totally settled. Tarek still has problems to handle (not saying more in order to not spoil anything for other readers). I could understand if EVERYONE's issues aren't settled at the end of this, because they can continue into the next book. This just left me feeling unresolved and disappointed. Yeah, I'm surprised at how much I liked this. I think I've read one book by this author previously, and didn't care much. That means nothing when I see a book featuring A/B/O Dynamics, Knotting, and MPREG!!!! Yes, count me in! Got to say there was no mpreg in it for me. Yeah, I know the brother was, but he wasn't the main character. I like my mp ...more At twenty-three years old, Omega Brion has still yet to experience his first heat. Brion has always admired the Alpha of his pack – from a respectable distance, of course. After all, how could a lowly Omega such as him ever even dream of an Alpha like Jasper? But when Brion’s first heat suddenly hits him in the middle of the spring festival preparations, there is only man to relieve his agony… This is a new author for me and didn't know what to expect. As I began reading it I thought, well as the cover showed it's an MMR, which was fine with me, and as I began reading I really liked the description of the alpha. Then as we get further into the story, I'm saying what the heck, this is just too much. But, like I said I liked the alpha and wanted to see where this very different take on shifters was going. Well I'm not doing spoilers just let me say this was a new twist on a paranormal wolf shifter story. To me it was a great love story, a little out there but well wrote. If you're looking for a paranormal shifter story with a twist, and believe me when I say with a twist I'm recommending this story and am looking forward to what other twist this author has in store. The Kingdom of Askara has been torn apart by conflict for centuries, where humans exist as subservient beings to their werewolf masters. Legend says it will only be able to heal itself when an Alpha King and a pure omega are mated and crowned together, but a pure omega hasn't been born in over a thousand years. Luca is an Alpha-heir eagerly awaiting the choosing ceremony on his 25th birthday and the gifts granted by whichever omega he mates. Devastated by Drew’s constant absence, Matt starts wondering if Drew ever really loved him at all. And when he finds out that the old pack’s alpha—Matt’s gorgeous ex—wants him back, Matt starts to question his entire life. Tarly and Roam are absolutely great for each other. Tarly has a rare condition that makes it hard to control his shift and wolf in stressful situations. So for years Tarly has secluded himself from everyone and his only relationships are held on omega date. Once an omega requests to meet in person Tarly bails. Roam finds out he's pregnant and waits to tell his mate, however while waiting for his mate to make it home he plans a wonderful dinner and waits. Only he receives a call from his sister in law only to find out that his mate died in a car accident. Roam and Tarly meet on omega date. Roam is the only omega that Tarly has ever wanted to get better for, not only that but the only one he has ever met in person. Great read I received an ARC and voluntarily left a review enjoy.
