For the purpose of this fic, let’s imagine a world where male pregnancies are fairly rare but not unheard of. This fic has been a long time coming and it got so disgustingly long, I don’t even have an excuse.
Innovation for WritersThere have always been a lot of writers on deviantART begging for more recognition. It’s understandable that literature is given a lower priority: as I’m writing this, there are 3,280 “Writers” online, which compared to the 10,671 “Artists” is a relatively small community. So all of us writers whine about how we never get “the attention that we deserve.” There are plenty of stamps declaring, “Writers are artists too!” and all that sort of thing. But we never really get anywhere.
I always say it’s the class system based on biological characteristiques and knotting, though other nonnies have pointed out that knotting isn’t omnipresent in fic being written nowadays. Mpreg isn’t so much needed as the possibility of mpreg – and someone may write fic where alphas and omegas are biological dead ends and thus remove the possibility of mpreg and thus remove that possibility and I, personally, would still consider it a/b/o as long as they’d be a differentiated social group. The same rational goes for heats, as long as other biological markers are in place to account for the biological part of the genre. It’s the the articulation between those differences and the social [side] of things that is really the indispensable part.
I didn’t need no rich alpha to take care of me. I was a street cat, after all. But I did need money. If I could just get a bit more, I could afford some heat blockers, then I wouldn’t have to worry about alphas at all. Problem solved.
Roleplay Starters!!! Well, if you are anything like me, you like to roleplay. Whether on Omegle or through email. But I have some you may use!!! I have used them before, so don’t worry!! If you want to roleplay one, just shoot me a note and we can do it that way or through email!!
A mostly quiet birthHer nurses’ uniform had grown tight over the last nine months, but somehow she’d managed to squeeze her girth into the white dress. She stood at the emergency room counter, watching as a woman about her size was wheeled in, hissing and panting. It was obvious the woman was in labour, her partner panicking beyond belief as he followed along beside her.
It all started with a few papers in the wrong hands… Omega rabbit shifter Elliott works as a graphic designer at Reynolds Enterprise. When one of his experimental works ends up in the hands of his boss, who then delivers it to his boss, Elliott soon finds himself behind the door of none other but Mr. Felix Reynolds himself…
It is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn’t doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media – as well as Amy’s fiercely doting parents – the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he’s definitely bitter – but is he really a killer?
Still, lots of readers love the smut. Luna (female, bi, 18-25, Finland) enjoys the wild and animalistic nature of A/B/O, calls it “a total holiday from everyday life” where rules differ. Alex Reid (genderqueer, they/them, greyromantic bisexual, 18-25, Serbia) likes that “everything is wet and messy, lots of come and size kink”. Different rules include some animalistic diction, which can be a squick for some. Similarly, some see Omegaverse as some form of bestiality – and either like or dislike that.
Somehow exhausted from the little work he’d been required to do for some reason. Maybe due to stress but you couldn’t really tell from how he was sleeping. Benson slowly open the front door, kicking snow off his boots has he looked over to see the blue jay on the couch. Benson hung up his jacket on the coat rack and looked around for anyone else who might be in the living room. Luckily for him there was no one else in there, giving the gumball machine a rare opportunity. After taking off his boots and putting them by the door, he carefully walked over to Mordecai. He bit his lip has he got on his knees, Benson just wanted feel the baby kick for a moment. They were technically his any way so he had the right to right?
Matthew Bruner is a bear shifter destined for greatness. Or so that’s what he’s always been told. As the next in line to become alpha of his clan, Matthew’s days of singlehood are drawing to a close. Long since committed to a prearranged mating, Matthew finds himself feeling trapped and, worse, afraid. In a desperate attempt to prolong his freedom, Matthew flees his family’s ancestral home and heads to the nearest city. It’s there that he meets Ezra Tier, a tiger shifter with a bad streak the size of a mountain.
In order to alleviate himself of the guilt he had over not being able to give his whole heart to Janie, Reece managed to convince himself that he hadn’t imprinted on Ellis at all, and when she died in childbirth, Reece withdrew into himself even more, pouring all his energy into being the sole parent of their daughter Anika. All of those long-buried feelings return to the surface when he encounters Ellis again, and the circumstances of their meeting are far from rosy. All Reece wants is to show Ellis that he’s not the Alpha he used to be, but Ellis’ defenses are an iron fortress and Reece is sure he has no hope of breaking down the walls he helped fortify.
Saved is my first venture into an omegaverse story where mpreg wasn’t the result of the paranormal. I’ve always been a fan of alpha/beta/omega dynamics, but primarily in a paranormal setting so this story was new territory for me. Regardless if this is your first time reading this type of story or not, one thing you’ll want to be aware of from the start—this is the first book in a series, and there is not full resolution at the end of the story. BUT…the author does an excellent job of drawing yo …more
But there’s a lo…t more to Austin than meets the eye, and Joey soon finds out that Austin’s reason for hiring him has a lot less to do with his administrative abilities than it does with his desire to discover Joey’s more hidden talents. And the more Joey starts to realize that Austin’s impending marriage to Crystal isn’t quite what it seems, the more he feels compelled to reveal a deeply buried secret of his own
Now, the angsty one has Prompto out on a photo excursion somewhere on the outskirts of Lucis for a magazine. Prom doesn’t like to be cooped up in the house while he is pregnant so he continues his job (freelance photographer) even when he’s pregnant. So during this photo shoot, Prom’s water breaks and he panics because he is far away from where Noct is at the moment. So he manages to find a place on the trail (like a shed or something) to wait in. He calls Noct and Noct freak out when he learns how far away he is. Prompto is nervous seeing as this is his first pregnancy and he had never even been around a person that has given birth before, so he just starts crying on the phone to Noct about how he’s scared and that he might not be there to help him. Noct gets Gladio and Ignis and they head out right away to find where Prom is.
Alec is an omega, but there’s something more, something he doesn’t understand. But whatever it is affects Alec in every aspect of his life, he is special, he just doesn’t know it yet. Oh and Alec isn’t going to be weak in this.
Braun Etting was raised to know his place as an omega by his alpha father’s cruel words and fast fists, and he expects nothing but violence from the alpha who may one day mate him. His older brother Kell mated a cruel alpha who abuses him daily, and Braun is terrified of that seemingly inev …more
Joel frowned when he realized that the egg had stopped coming out halfway and spread the man’s legs even wider, trying to force the egg out. He could see that it was slippery as fluid was leaking out from the man’s hole, dripping onto the bed under him.

“Easy for you to say” groaned Spy, “You’re not the one giving birth on all fours like an animal- Argh!”. He didn’t get the chance to finish what he was saying. As the next contraction came, Spy rocked himself back and fourth, huffing and panting like he’d just run a marathon.
This novella isn’t groundbreaking writing or anything, but the writing is proficient and consistent, the story well crafted despite the cliche plot, and the book overall engaging and enjoyable to read. Despite being rough around the edges, this author has actual talent, and I would really like to see what they could do with a full-length book and a good editor.
the reason i get so discoursey about mpreg is not solely about the kink itself or the various tropes for it. it stems from the fact that this kink and these associated elements like a/b/o are largely created and supported by cis people. what do you think this looks like to us? that you would rather use convoluted psuedoscience to wave away biological impossibilities with cismpreg, just so you can have dudes with dicks? that you would rather pass off things like anal live birth as normal in your creative works, rather than make a character a transman, which wouldn’t alter the character in any other way other than their genitalia? it holds up cissexist values that only further alienate and offend transmasculine fans of this kink, including myself and others. as well as any other transmasc people who have to see cismpreg art and be reminded that the majority of cis sentiments is that penis = male, and in order for it to be ‘male pregnancy’ a guy has to have a dick even though thats entirely biologically bogus. its hurtful. its insulting to some of us who are trying to normalize our bodies and use interests like this as coping mechanisms, creative expression, and of course, good wholesome jerk-off material that we can actually relate to
As I walked into the house my cat Mavis ran to me and licked my face a million times giving me kisses. I pet him and smiled. “Hi Mavis. I got you something awesome.” I said as I set the bags on the counter. “Sweet boy what are you doing?” I asked as he started to sniff the bags.
their baby hits the sixth month mark when Kylo begins to feel it, a dark presence around both the baby’s mind and Hux’s, to the point where Kylo can’t even wake Hux up some nights when the darkness is thick and their air is cold
To set the mood for the following points, let’s start with one reply to “Name your favourite thing about Omegaverse”, which covers most points that are going to prove to be a lot more controversial than a first glance might suggest:
Dean got Sam pregnant sometime before he became a demon. But now Sam’s gone into early labor in the bunker while trying to cure him, and only he and Castiel are there to help Sam deliver the baby. (Only bottom!Sam please)
Good work! ^_^ However, at the end of the story, why Ciel has to leave the room while he also just gave birth to twins, and the father is Sebastian, not someone else. Maybe, it’d better if all 3 of them (especially Ciel and Sebastian) can rest together with their 4 children.
The first published A/B/O book I read was Mating the Omega, which I did not enjoy at all. I thought the sub-genre outside of fan-fiction just wasn’t for me, but since this book seemed to actually have some semblance of a plot and is written by an established romance writer, I decided to request a review copy. I enjoyed it more than I did my first round with the sub-genre, but I think …more
I don’t think I’ve read any other omegaverse piece with such nuance and depth. The Alpha-Beta-Omega dynamics are central to the story and potential relationships but not overstated or overly used as explicit sizzle.

He groaned in pain but nodded and started to push again, his stomach painfully contracting to push his babies out. His mate took one of his hands in her own and he squeezed her hand as he bore down hard, groaning loudly while the egg pushed out a little further along with the baby’s head crowning even more.
Scratch that, it was the perfect time to socialize: a lazy Saturday morning with cotton candy clouds and drowsy orange sunlight. The two were out shopping for Arthur’s insistent cravings. Alfred had wanted it to remain just the two of them, relishing every second of their time together before the inevitable addition to their little family, but they’d managed to draw in quite the crowd upon their entrance to the store.
This book really confused me. I don’t remember any of Arthur’s other books being this melodramatic and cheesy. She’s never been a stranger to angst, sure, but when the characters start spewing things like, “you being angry with me was tearing at my soul”, you’ve passed angst and skipped right on into Eyerollsville.
“Well, I only have experience with “The Gilded Cage” so far. The exploration of biological determination and social oppression is fascinating in this context as well as what makes weak and strong. To make Sherlock, a strong character we clearly admire and root for, an Omega, with all of the distressing biological imperatives and legal unpersonhood just makes these issues resonate even It is also fascinating to witness John’s character, a morally upstanding and compassionate individual, be so distressed to be at the mercy of biology as well, and to see his gradual education of the issues concerning Omega. I know all stories have a different biology/world, but I really like the one Beautifulfiction has created.” (Myladylyssa, female, lesbian, 30-40, USA)
Fatigue pulls at the corners of his eyes, and he stifles a yawn against the back of his hand as the elevator creeps it’s way steadily up towards his apartment. He blinks wearily at the little yellow numbers, watching them slowly increase.
