He went back to Draco and tried once again to wake him. Draco didn’t even wake up enough to bat his hands away this time. Harry finally got frustrated enough to slap his face, hard. Draco woke up enough to blink blearily at him, and promptly went back to sleep. That was when Harry remembered to potion Draco had taken right before going to bed. He hadn’t been sleeping well because Harry kept waking him up all through the night, going to the bathroom every hour and complaining of backaches. It figured the one time Draco broke down and took a sleep aide, it would be the one time Harry truly needed him awake.
In a surprising (to me) twist, the male omega had a cock, an ass that was breedable, but no testicles. At first I was surprised and a bit disappointed by this, as one of the reasons I like omegaverse stories is the male-male action, especially leading to pregnancy. I’m already a bit hesitant about some of this genre, as Alphas are often hyper-masculine and, except for their equipment, the male omegas often take on very traditionally feminine roles. Although I very much appreciate gender-challenging characters, I am also a bit disappointed when it’s always the top, Alpha who takes on the masculine roles and the receptive, bottom, omega who takes on traditionally female roles. (Also, tops that constantly penetrate their male partner but who never let a bottom near their own entrance is a particular turn off of mine, but par for the course in omegaverse novels.) When these roles are so strongly separated, it seems to me one might as well just write male/female stories.
Madame Pomfrey helped Harry back into the bed, and pushed Draco into the floor. Draco jumped up as soon as he hit the floor, ready to hurt someone for knocking him to the floor. He paled when he saw Harry and Madame Pomfrey glaring at him, mostly from Harry glaring at him. Harry looked very dangerous at the moment. Before he could move out of range, Harry had grabbed him by the arm and dragged him close.
“Well, there are human women who have the same line of thought that you have. They want the babies but not the partner. They find donors and have the babies by themselves and raise them alone. Maybe you could find an angel willing to uh, help you get pregnant and then part And you get to keep the fledglings.” When Sam finished explaining, the angel seemed in deep thought.
Ernt Allbright, a former POW, comes home from the Vietnam war a changed and volatile man. When he loses yet another job, he makes an impulsive decision: He will move his family north, to Alaska, where they will live off the grid in America’s last true frontier.
I’m squicked out by the power dynamics. I don’t want my beloved characters part of a world with dubiously consensual sex, oppression and discrimination on the basis of their gender, intensely strengthened gender norms, being made helpless with undesired child bearing and being a prisoner of their biology. It feels too much like choosing to roll around in the nastier bits of historical (and current) discrimination against women.” (aaa, female, straight-ish, 25-30, Australia)
I often find that MM romances cannot keep my interest long enough to get through to the end of the book. So often the author seems to go over the top with the interactions between the main characters and it just comes across as fake. This is not the case with Odin Nightshade’s work. This is only the second book by Odin I have read, and i have not read the others in this series but intend to do so when I have the chance. Odin has a way of weaving a tale that will pull you into the lives of the characters and bring them to life. You feel what they feel. You long for the things they long for. And you weep over things that happened in their pasts to scar them. Then, when the past is healed and they find their Happily Ever After, you find yourself tearing up and cheering for them.
When Mac captures the feral shifter that climbed the walls surrounding the Mercy Hills Pack enclave, he feels for the young shifter’s fear, though he knows his Alpha isn’t the sort of shifter Jason believes he is. He’d be happy to see the two mated, except that, as time goes by, it becomes more and more difficult to deny his own feelings for the young, damaged omega.
Niso nodded as he held the baby up and was grabbing one of the towels he’d brought from the bathroom, cleaning it off. “It’s out Francis, it’s out.” He said, looking up at the younger male. “Is that…is that all of them?” Niso asked meekly, swallowing a lump in his throat. He doubted Francis was up for another birth. He laid the baby once it was cleaned and wrapped up with it’s siblings, looking over the little babies before he turned his attention back on Francis again. “Oh, thank goodness.” Francis hung his head and grunted tiredly. His fingers trailed over his newly deflated stomach and pressed just above his pubic bone, feeling for any hardness. “I-I think so.” When Francis found none he shook his head. A soft sigh escaped his mouth as he crawled over to Niso and laid his head in his lap, hands reaching out to clutch at the older male’s shirt. After a few seconds, the young man broke down, sobbing quietly. He was utterly exhausted, his body physically spent of energy.
Actually, I’ve never had this question asked so thank you for asking! I’d love to share my all time favs and considering that I’ve been reading Drarry for over a decade (fuck me I’m old), I have quite a few. Get ready, my dear, because you have just opened a can of worms…:D
Jensen just nodded and started the laborious task of shifting himself around on the seat. Half way through twisting round another contraction ripped through his belly, almost sending him tumbling out the open door.
Today was especially busy, and the head of the clinic was busy seeing men and their big tums all day since they opened up that morning. In fact her own head nurse was expecting triplets, and he was very much showing it. Sitting behind the counter, the young man was flipping through a magazine with a callous look on his face, and all but ignored the redheaded woman as she walked up behind him.
i really have no love for the fact that an au template that hinges on rape/dubcon fetishism and transphobia/cissexism out of ignorance happens to be The Most prevalent thing i have to see when i just want to jerk off
The book is very good, liked that either one was sure what was going to happen only that a baby was made and now they had to work on what to do now and one had a hard time in believing any of it was true that where the fun comes in, how they get to love one an other, want more of her books
Summary: Eight months pregnant with twins, Aldin has just gotten through another bad date when the doorbell rings, and none other than the man that had left him alone and pregnant is on the other side of the door.
I always say it’s the class system based on biological characteristiques and knotting, though other nonnies have pointed out that knotting isn’t omnipresent in fic being written nowadays. Mpreg isn’t so much needed as the possibility of mpreg – and someone may write fic where alphas and omegas are biological dead ends and thus remove the possibility of mpreg and thus remove that possibility and I, personally, would still consider it a/b/o as long as they’d be a differentiated social group. The same rational goes for heats, as long as other biological markers are in place to account for the biological part of the genre. It’s the the articulation between those differences and the social [side] of things that is really the indispensable part.
“What the hell are you all doing here? I have been trying to contact you all morning to inform you,” ranted Harry, pausing when his water broke to stream down his legs, “that I’m in labour and my water just broke. I can’t wake up Draco because he took a sleeping draught last night, and I didn’t know what to do.” By the end of his tirade, Harry was sobbing in relief that he wouldn’t have to go through this alone.
This is a good transition to the fundamental question my participants debated, namely whether Omegaverse is sexist/homo-/transphobic, or actually subversive and an incredibly reflective commentary on society…
Unaware that he was being watched, Adam had got the egg out, before not able to catch his breathe as the next egg was starting to crown. After pushing for a few minutes or what seemed like forever to him, Adam could barely feel the egg sliding out. Catching his breathe in between pushing, Adam reached his hand trying to feel the egg. Groaning, Adam could only feel the tip of the egg out, figuring it had to be one of the biggest one yet.

Things could never be better for the boys of Big Time Rush, until tragedy strikes. Each boy has their own way of dealing with it. They all have to find a way to get through this and still keep their sanity. The boys have to take what comes and try to keep on going. Kogan Jamille Cucy MPreg
“Simply put, mpreg. It’s not a squick for me, but I’m not crazy about it, and often short fics follow the cliché structure of they meet – they bond – they have sex – they have a baby. It’s a bit too Cinderella for me, too quick and not very satisfying, emotionally speaking. (…) Ah, and I’m also not sure I’m crazy about this trend I’ve seen around of calling the babies “pups” and such and using wolf/dog terminology. I see where it comes from, but I don’t really buy why a human omegaverse society would evolve like this.” (Lou, female, panromantic/grey-a, 18-25, France)
Niso held the baby’s head lightly, looking up at Francis. “Keep pushing now!” Francis nodded and bore down hard. When the pain peaked, he struggled to keep his knees from buckling as the widest point of the baby’s shoulders rammed into his hole. The taste of copper was heavy on his tongue. Bearing down again, Francis gasped as the shoulders rotated with the next contraction. Feeling the baby twisting itself free, he gritted his teeth and swung his fists blindly, striking the bed several times. He continued pushing and straining. “Gyaahhh..!” Francis exhaled and suddenly the pressure disappeared, the baby having slipped into Niso’s waiting hands. His world was spinning and he swayed on his hands and knees. “N-Niso?”
I was crushed. My entire life was ahead of me. I was the starting quarterback for my high school football team and I had a 4.0 GPA at school. Now, I was alone and pregnant. How stupid I was, I thought, for having unprotected sex with my girlfriend. It was the heat of the moment though, and I just couldn’t wait.
Alpha/Beta/Omega or Alpha/Omega (occasionally Alpha/Beta) is a kink trope wherein some or all people have defined biological roles based on a hierarchical system, with the terms originating from animal behaviour research. There may be werewolf, knotting, or other animalistic elements involved, or the characters may be otherwise purely human.
Summary: In the south lies a werewolf kingdom existing within an ancient forest of giant trees, the golden city of the nobles and royalty lying between the edges of the forest and where the endless sea of sand begins. While to north lies the vampire kingdom, dwelling under the shadow of the mountains and by the shores of the sea. Both kingdoms have been at war since their ancestors first sailed over from the west. Now, thousands of years later- there has been an uneasy peace spanning three centuries.
Consequences Chapter 1 MpregEven as a child, I was taught to hide my emotions and never become too attached to things. While some people may find our ways cruel and unusual, it is only natural for my kind to act in such a way. We do this for our own protection. As soon as puberty hits, there is a fifteen year period in which feeling great emotions towards someone else can lead to unfortunate results. There is a reason why we have our children so young…
Good work! ^_^ However, at the end of the story, why Ciel has to leave the room while he also just gave birth to twins, and the father is Sebastian, not someone else. Maybe, it’d better if all 3 of them (especially Ciel and Sebastian) can rest together with their 4 children.
Some quotes have already pointed towards reasons this trope can polarise as powerfully as it does. In this final part I’d like to take a closer look at what my participants cited when asked about what they like and dislike about this trope, which frequently surpasses simple squicks and kinks and touches topics like sexism, homo- and transphobia, to name but a few.
