But when Mattt arrives, he finds that Hillary needs his help. Her new family is suffering a media scandal, and they need his journalistic savvy to help right the wrong. Unfortunately for Matt, helping them will involve close work with Hillary’s new brother-in-law: the remote, difficult and commanding owner of the company, Drew Matherson.
But then Cas starts to notice little things that Dean does like how his hand absent-mindedly hovers over his stomach when everyone’s gushing over their nephew’s ultrasounds or how he gets up in the middle of the night to sit in his rocking chair mumbling along to Zeppelin till he falls asleep or how he isn’t ready to give up the crib yet even though he never says why
An avid reader of het romance, her first foray into reading published m/m romance (slash fanfic doesn’t count) is thanks to a Dear Author review of K.A. Mitchell’s CHASING SMOKE. After devouring K.A.’s existing backlist, she dove headfirst into other authors. While she prefers contemporary, she’ll occasionally sample an historical or SFF m/m romance.
You also see many of the same elements in Indago, a Harry/Draco story from the skyehawke archive published in 2005. Draco, Harry, and Snape turn out to be magical creatures called Indago, who are genderless but fall into categories of Supero and subicio, who are extremely similar to alphas and omegas, except for knotting. There is still scenting, heat, self-lubrication, mpreg, use of Supero pheromones to control or placate subicios, and Superos establish a dominance hierarchy and use the terms alpha and beta.
This is a book that has a fascinating storyline as well as some interesting characters. Isaac Ward enters the trials for a chance at being turned into a werewolf. Ryan is the Alpha and his mate. Ward is conflicted, he has never been attracted to men and is confused about mating. Well-written and fascinating romance. Looking forward to reading more by this wonderful author.
Spy rocked himself back and fourth, he took a few short breaths, then he bore down hard like his life depended on it. He felt the head of the baby drop down further into his pelvis, causing even more pressure to build up. He let out a moan at the end. The Spy turned towards Medic.
However, there’s a lot more to the beautiful omega than glitter and pom poms. Enough to leave Levi’s head spinning and wondering just what he’s going to do with the boy he can’t get his mind off of living under the same roof.
now you may be wondering why with all these praises I am not giving it 5 stars. well the ending seemed a bit rushed and they kind of skipped over something i felt should be explained. i was happy with the HEA but there were a few things I was like….but what happen to….and with that…. However despite the rushed ending it was all sorts of wonderful. definitely worth a read.
Ashton Smith is a free-spirited omega artist, a painter with a passion for taking risks. After a visit to a well that shows wolves their true mates, he comes across the man he saw while frequenting his favorite bar. This man is familiar to him, and eventually they realize the truth: they were lovers in the past.
“there’s also huge amounts of consent issues surrounding the alpha/omega/beta dynamics – people don’t seem to understand what consent is and how it’s given, so they end up writing rape scenes and passing it off as either dubious consent or completely normal. I was horrified by how unchallenged some of the conventions were within the omegaverse sub-fandom.” (nondeducible, female, lesbian, 25-30, Poland)
And yes, let me just sneak into a pack I know nothing about and offer myself to the alpha, who I know nothing about. I get that he was desperate, but it didn’t read as desperate, it read as stupid. I couldn’t wait until Jason could stop running and find someone to actually think, not just for him, but for his father too.
I can honestly say that this story was not what I expected. I loved this story. Though a shorter story, the action, the adventure, the drive to mate, and an unreasonable parent made this an excellent read. Never really been into the MPREG genre, but this one captured my attention and I so want to know what is going to happen with the twins…(spoiler)…Matthew and Ezra are an wonderful couple and the journey to happiness was a good one…Gus Klondike did a phenomenal job with the narration…can’t wait to read the next part of the story…
”Well,That did the trick. Maybe now things will progress at a faster pace.” He says before placing a fresh towel on the wet spot and trying to ignore the wetness in his own clothing and the ever growing pain in his stomach.
He groaned in pain but nodded and started to push again, his stomach painfully contracting to push his babies out. His mate took one of his hands in her own and he squeezed her hand as he bore down hard, groaning loudly while the egg pushed out a little further along with the baby’s head crowning even more.
This was a good read. Braun Etting is an Omega who was raised by a cruel father who abused him. His older brother Kell mated a cruel alpha who abuses him daily, and Braun is terrified of that seemingly inevitable future. When Braun’s father dies in a car crash, leaving Braun an orphan, he’s sent to a halfway house for omegas. But on his fourth night there, he witnesses a horrifying crime that sends him fleeing to the streets alone and edging into his first heat. Tarek Bloom is an twenty-eight ye …more
Dean’s mom always told him that Angels were watching over him. The way his life’s been going, he’s stopped believing that a looooong time ago. But it doesn’t stop him from wishing that Angels or Fairy Godmothers or something similar really existed and could solve his problems with the swish of a magic wand or the snap of their fingers.
I didn’t need no rich alpha to take care of me. I was a street cat, after all. But I did need money. If I could just get a bit more, I could afford some heat blockers, then I wouldn’t have to worry about alphas at all. Problem solved.
Overall, it was a sweet and explicit omegaverse story with enough plot and relationship tension to keep things interesting in addition to two heated and sizzling encounters. There was certainly a bit of manufactured feel (falling in love in 2 weeks), but elements adding to the tension (a beta friend who was not a girlfriend) and interesting if underdeveloped supporting characters (former wife, protective alpha friend, meddling sister, and sweet daughter) helped give the quick novel life beyond the sizzled. Some setting information, especially regarding the usually ignored role of betas in an Alpha/Beta/Omega omegaverse was a nice touch. Also, I’m not always appreciative of Alpha violence and protective instincts, but I was pretty pumped when Thomas goes a little alpha in support of a non-alpha.
One of the two men was Kakashi, his former sensei and an alpha in his prime, leaning against the wall with his orange book in his hand. Not that he was really reading it, not at all, he was watching the young blonde with the fox mask who was practically drooling over him and the other alpha named Akatora, his long time friend and team mate. Akatora was eating his food, having his tiger mask on the side of his head, but when his eyes meet Kakashi’s, the man knew that the other was as aware of the fox watching them as he was. They were both aware of the smell of omega pheromones in the room, a sweet and thick smell that told them that Naruto had started a heat cycle.
I love this Seal series and each book gives me a terrific read. This story was chocked full of action, intrigue and a bumpy journey to love. Ed and Colin’s love story was filled with conflict of values, lack of communication and the pull to be more than friends.
With an impending battle between dragon and man, Scott is forced to make one of the most difficult decisions of his life. But can he give up everything that he knows a chance at love with a creature from another world?

The extremely jealous alpha thinks his omega servant/bedmate is sneaking off to hook up with another lover. When he finds out omega is basically working for (what the alpha considers to be) a subversive organization, he mostly shrugs it off with just a little warning to his wandering omega about potential dangers.
“I am genderfluid/leaning to male and want to experience pregnancy. I will however put off any surgery and hormones until after I give birth[…] It has similarities with being transgender. It is lovely to see any kind of representation in a positive light and to be “normalized.” I love that I can escape to this fantasy land where males can give birth because I hate that I have to put off being my true gender if I want to have a child.” -Missy
After a bout of ill health his father seems ready to pass the torch at any moment. Unfortunately, the timing couldn’t be any worse. Rocco has only just decided that he needs to part ways with his current boyfriend Skye, but he’s going to …need a mate in order for the pack to accept him fully as Alpha—not to mention fend off evil rival Jarvis’ challenge to his status.
Three days have passed since I’ve told Lou. She’s still the only one that knows and I can’t work up the nerve to tell my mum. We’re currently in Austria with three extra weeks until the next show. Unfortunately for me I’m using it to prepare for this baby as well as we are all using it to record more songs for the fifth album.

You sat in the glass cage, hugging a ruffed up stuffed bear on your lap, one of your hands wrapped in bandages, a needle holding some form of liquid spread into your bloodstream, you winced, moving the clothed hand up to your forehead.
Every author deserves credit for the extreme effort that goes into writing a story. The concept was good, I read the blurb and bought it. Sadly, it was just blah. There was shifting which I like, but the characters, esp Jake, weren’t developed to where I cared about them. And was it Christmas? I missed that.
His shadow stretched out ahead of him, elongated and distorted by the ground. Like a foal, he amused himself watching how the top of his head came to a point, and his legs looked like long sticks moving under his body. I’m giddy with sickness.
