What was up with the pov change? I get it. First person restricts the world building and story telling, but if you have a story where things need to be explained and actions are happening simultaneously you need third pov. And honestly it wasn’t all that necessary. The world building wasn’t extensive here. She writes Macs pov in restricted third so she might as well have just wrote it in first. The pov change was jarring and unnecessary to the story in my opinion. Which brings me to my next question:

Adam felt like it had been forever since the huge egg had started coming out of him, and it still wasn’t out. Crying out when he pushed, Adam knew this had to be the biggest of the eggs, feeling it was bigger then the ostrich egg. Letting out a scream, Adam couldn’t believe when gushes of fluids came out of him, letting him know other eggs were helping push the other egg out. Trying to keep his legs far apart as they would go, Adam felt down after a contraction had ended to feel the egg becoming half way out as the widest part was stretching him.
Problems at home led Evan to sever ties with his family; he knew they would never accept his identity as a gay man. He wasn’t sure he could accept it himself, until Dakota came back into his life. His childhood friend, transformed from a chubby kid into the ideal masculine form, attends Evan’s graduation and reignites the love they’d always shared but never admitted.
Having sat down and peed, I rubbed my belly, enjoying how maternal I felt in this state, a surrogate for hire because of how well the procedure worked for me and the pay not bad considering mpreg babies got a premium compared to regular pregnancies.
I thought I’d gotten used to being so big, but it was still an ordeal to heft myself out of bed, my gravid belly swaying slightly with the motion as I shuffled as quickly as I could with swollen ankles to relieve my shrunken bladder.
Ed Adami had been a friend of Baudin the now dishonorably discharged Seal. It seems they shared some very archaic / old fashioned, ultra conservative ideas of an Omegas place in the world – primarily at home raising the children. Unfortunately the one man he wanted did not want children – how were they going to revolve that monumental problem? At first it was easier to ignore it as they finally consummated their relationship.
A uterine transplant was performed in Saudi Arabia in 2000, from one woman to another, but it did not result in a pregnancy. This advance drew speculation about the possibility of a male receiving a womb transplant, and bearing a child from the transplanted womb.

“I tried really hard to like it, but I want to read about human beings — we are ruled by our minds mostly and as such, Omegaverse fics just are not relate-able in any sense for me. There’s a lot of lazy writing that goes on in it as well, not helped by the fact that since most everyone is written as an animal who cannot control their desires, the smut takes precedence over the actual writing.” (Dan, male, 25-30, Philippines)

Connor has always known that once he turned twenty-two, he would be auctioned off to the highest bidder – that was the fate of all Omegas. Connor knows he isn’t of the most respectable Omega bloodlines and has no hopes for a high bid. I had some problems with the way that Derrick reacted in this book. Why would he assume that Rowan was a hardened criminal in the beginning of the book when they both were in the same jail cell and Rowan says that he was tresspassing. It was like Derrick considered that akin to a battery charge. Then, when Rowan explains how he’s been taking on extra delivery jobs for his boss that may have been morally questionable, but weren’t clearly illegal, Derrick again takes it so hard that he wonders if he can trust someone so prone to breaking the law. WHO DOES THAT?! Why wouldn’t Derrick give Rowan the benefit of the doubt immediately that he was being used, and not assume that he was betraying Derrick?
I can’t say enough good about my reactions to this book. I loved reading how River and Ash grew up to be in love with each other, but life separated them for over 20 years. Despite the separation, the core of who each of them were, remained the same, and they were able to reconnect quickly.
“They are rebuilding. Metatron left a mess that needs the cleaning up, and he has left the angel population low, so mating will probably take priority.” The younger Winchester furrowed his brows in confusion.
“Harry, could you loosen your grip just a bit? I can’t feel my fingers,” asked Draco, futilely trying to pry Harry’s fingers away from his arm. He flinched when Harry’s hand gripped just a little harder before he shoved Draco’s arm away from him. The Draco realized exactly what Harry had just said. “You’re in labour? Oh elf, am so sorry.”
Unlike an ectopic pregnancy, which does not include the protection of a uterus and which places both the fetus and father in danger, having a uterus transplanted into a male would provide protection to both the fetus and the father and removing the danger to both.
I love reading and writing about male pregnancy. It’s new, it’s different, and it’s all fantasy. What’s wrong with reading a book where it’s natural for a man to get pregnant naturally without the invention of science. I understand the apprehension some readers have about the idea of reading a novel where the guy end up getting pregnant, carry and ultimately delivers the child. And you know what? I had the same apprehension before I read one of the sweetest book about a guy getting pregnant and having to deal with it. Of course he was an alien, but still, it seemed natural. I know what some people might be thinking. If a writer is writing a man trying to pregnant they trying to turn him into a woman. And honestly, that is not the case.

Another contraction made him stop and bear down again, pushing hard to birth his young. The egg was pushed out a little more, revealing more and more of it’s girth as it stretched his anus painfully. He cried out at the burning of being stretched in both his anus and vagina as his baby crowned in his vagina.
From a first glance, one would quickly assume him to be an omega, given the anxious expression on his face. The problem with that, though, was that he had just a little too much muscle for it, and even for a beta. Which left only one option; he was an alpha. Had to be, really.
Madame Pomfrey helped Harry back into the bed, and pushed Draco into the floor. Draco jumped up as soon as he hit the floor, ready to hurt someone for knocking him to the floor. He paled when he saw Harry and Madame Pomfrey glaring at him, mostly from Harry glaring at him. Harry looked very dangerous at the moment. Before he could move out of range, Harry had grabbed him by the arm and dragged him close.
