With a slight sigh escaping my lips I crawl out of the bed carefully, trying to be quiet enough so I don’t wake everyone on the bus. When I reach the kitchen I can barely see anything so I honestly have no choice but to switch on the light. I decide it’s best for me to choose something light to eat, since I’ll most likely be waking up with morning sickness later.
A very early example, (perhaps the first?) of mpreg art, from the 1980 Star Trek: TOS zine Galactic Discourse #3, artist Linda White. “Bones, would you come to my cabin please? I think it’s time you learned the truth about Setarcos.” It is a riff on the story Beyond Setarcos
So I started ‘Saved’ not really know what would entail and if my hang ups on mpreg and the abuse would keep my from enjoying this book. This was the first book by A.M. that I have read so I had not clue about her writing style, or what to expect. I don’t tend to step outside my box when it comes to new books and new to me authors so I was afraid this would hinder the way I judged it. I will tell you right now, I am glad I did this for my out of comfort zone book, because I have since bought book two in this series, as well as two more books by A.M.
When they come knocking at the door, Jared’s almost tempted to tell them to fuck off, but showing a bit of rebellion now won’t do him any favors. Given Jared’s reputation, they won’t expect him to go MIA. He wants to keep it that way.
“Doesn’t feel ridiculous to me,” Sam says between kisses and Dean has to concede that he’s right. The next kiss, complete with a bite to his lip, makes Dean moan embarrassingly loud. The way Sam’s body presses against him definitely helps, too.
Jim attempted to get down on his hands and knees and mop up the mucus and blood mixture now staining the shower tiles; until he felt the little secret loosely move in him, down lower, like water from flood gates. He jolted against the wall in a sitting position knees bent. Jim knew he couldn’t stay here, his gym class would soon be over and the other boys would soon be coming back in. When the contraction passed, Jim dragged the now saturated towel and placed it in the garbage can under some paper t
Regarded as the strongest wolf shifter in generations, Alpha Zev Hassick is surprised and confused by his attraction to his best friend. His very human, very male best friend. Synopsis: A tortured Omega is rescued by a Triad of uber-powerful Alphas who claim to be potential mates. However, when the new bonds are tested by a deceitful plea for help, betrayal, and quick doubt among the potential mates, fear and anger overwhelm trust and developing love.
Alois gave Ciel a warm smile “If you want you can take a shower” he said and if that’s what Ciel wanted then he probably wouldn’t trust any of his other servants. So he would probably have to take care of getting the shower started for him on his own. How do you start the shower again? It can’t be that hard right?

But is Aaron willing to open up his mind to a world beyond the physical, while Indigo struggles to open up his heart after his devastating loss? And how many ‘coincidences’ need to occur before they both stop denying destiny?
The story plot was a good idea, just wish the characters emotional standing with one another was better. The whole surrogate mother bid has been retold numerous times I just wish this put a bit, more spin on it. The characters seemed like there “aha” moment didn’t fully come to fruition until practically the end of the book, the same with the cousin trouble, basically forgot he was still in the story because he had such small parts within it. I felt that the pace was gone just the development could have been better.
The Syngnathidae family of fish has the unique characteristic of a highly derived form of male brood care referred to as “male pregnancy”. The family is highly diverse, containing around 300 different species of fish. Included in Syngnathidae are seahorses, the pipefish, and the weedy and leafy seadragons. The males of some of these species possess a brood pouch on the trunk or tail; in other species, the eggs are merely attached to the male’s trunk or tail when the female lays them. Although biologists’ definitions of pregnancy differ somewhat, all members of the family are considered by ichthyologists to display male pregnancy, even those without an external brood pouch.
Five hours later, Draco brought the twins back up to their bedroom because he knew Harry would want to see them as soon as he awoke. The twins began to cry and Harry immediately stirred. He sat up slowly and painfully. It felt like everyone muscle in his body was screaming at him. He looked over in the direction of the crying and saw Draco sitting in the chair with both babies in his arm.

I’ve been loving the Breaking Free series so much. Each of the books has had unique qualities and Heard is no exception. While the first two books are linked fairly closely together – because they are about two brothers – this one is about a character that we’ve seen grow from book to book.
It is just so much easier to mock something than to really engage in it. Like, how easy to point out the mpreg trope and be like, “Look at this crazy thing these crazy people are doing.” But mpreg is a really poignant commentary on how the biological fact that women carry children influences every aspect of female life in society. Tweak it so that men can get pregnant, too, and watch how things change: watch how the men are the ones now struggling with the questions that society so seldom demands of them. It breaks my heart, what so many mpreg fics reveal about how girls feel about their place in society. I mean, in Omegaverse, frequently the pregnancy-bearing gender is literally a prisoner of its reproductive function, lamenting the inability to ever lead a life with full freedom of choice, and, in fact, tasked with limiting exposure to the impregnating gender because, hey, they are not to blame if they’re tempted by the irresistible invitation of a baby-depository in their vicinity.
“Look, I know I said it’s a small egg, but you still have to push hard. It’s not going to just slide out, you know.” he said irritably, pushing the man’s legs further apart until he could see more fluid – mixed with blood – drip out of his hole.
I woke up the next day, the bed cold(as usual). My hand was still on my stomach and the faint rocking of the bus as we continued to drive made me want to crawl back into bed and fall asleep. Sadly I am awoken with a loud growl of my stomach and I realize I never really ate last night.
SEAL sniper Ed Adami has a great bunch of guys around him, a good Navy career, and a best friend in Colin he can always rely on – who he’s been in love with that since grade school. But he knows Colin doesn’t want a husband and kids, so he’s kept his attraction a secret.
Betas are subordinate to Alphas and may or may not be able to impregnate Omegas; in some fanworks Betas aren’t present and the trope is known as Alpha/Omega, in others they take the role and functions of Omegas and Omegas aren’t present. Betas are often presented as having “normal” human anatomy with none of the special attributes of Alphas or Omegas.
“MPREG, it’s not really a huge squick, but sometimes I wish we didn’t have to go there. We could just have male Omegas because why not, none of it makes sense anyhow so there doesn’t have to be any logic in having Omegas who don’t get pregnant. What I dislike more than MPREG though is infantilizing or feminizing omegas way too much.” (M, female, currently 95% straight, with past same sex relationship, 25-30, Finland)
Fetus in fetu, though not an actual pregnancy, is an extremely rare condition in which a mass of tissue resembling a fetus forms inside the body. This is a developmental abnormality in which a fertilized egg splits as if to form identical twins, but one half becomes enveloped by the other, and an entire living organ system with torso and limbs can develop inside the host. The abnormality occurs in 1 in 500,000 live births in humans.
Karter Jenks is younger than I expected (23), but is ready for a mate, especially seeing fellow constable Bloom so happy. He does not expect to find his mate when searching for a burglary suspect, or for him to have a kid.
In a world where omegas are treated like slaves who are supposed to submit to and serve their partner, Braun Etting is different. After years of abuse at the hands of his father and witnessing the abuse his own brother’s (Kell) alpha inflicts on him, Braun wants something different than the path he is destined to take. Enter Tarek Bloom, an Alpha who is kind, caring and compassionate. He’s nothing like Braun was expecting and they slowly build a relationship together. Not all is perfect, Braun challenges societal norms and that puts not only his life in jeopardy but Tarek’s as well. As Kell’s alpha becomes increasingly abusive towards his husband and Braun, nor Tarek, can do nothing to stop it as alphas hold all the power within society.
Is the world really falling apart? Is the ideal of progress obsolete? In this elegant assessment of the human condition in the third millennium, cognitive scientist and public intellectual Steven Pinker urges us to step back from the gory headlines and prophecies of doom, which play to our psychological biases. Instead, follow the data: Pinker shows that life, health, prosperity, safety, peace, knowledge, and happiness are on the rise, not just in the West but worldwide.
Ernt Allbright, a former POW, comes home from the Vietnam war a changed and volatile man. When he loses yet another job, he makes an impulsive decision: He will move his family north, to Alaska, where they will live off the grid in America’s last true frontier.
For a prompt on the Outlast Kinkmeme: http://outlastkinkmeme.dreamwidth.org/692.html There are far too many alphas in the asylum. Waylon, a rare male omega, has been stealthily avoiding them up until he stumbles into the lair of one of the strongest he’s encountered: Eddie Gluskin.
Jack was smart enough to keep his lips zipped on the matter, but he honestly couldn’t get enough of seeing mate nesting and pregnant like this. It must satisfy him on some screwy alpha level but hey, if it made him feel those warm fuzzies in his loin then he wasn’t gonna rebuke it.
Talon Valdez knew when he transformed into an enhanced human, his life and his dreams were finished. Reviled, mistrusted, and often locked away, the enhanced were viewed as monsters, despised by the public, and never trusted to serve in the military or any law enforcement agency. Years later he gets a chance to set up a task force of enhanced to serve in the FBI, but with one proviso: each enhanced must partner with a regular human.
“Well….if you can figure out a way to do it without me having to move much, then I’m all yours.” Rhys fidgeted in place, lifting his leg with some difficulty and managing to get his calf hooked over Jack’s hip, encouraging the alpha’s thigh to press teasingly between his legs. A filthy grin quirked at Jack’s lips as he leaned in, pressing a quick kiss to his omega’s cheek.
