This is a stand alone gay romance novel, 118,000 words, with a strong happy ending, as well as a well-crafted, non-shifter omegaverse, with alphas, betas, omegas, male pregnancy, heat, and knotting. Content warning for pregnancy loss and aftermath.
After a while, the sweatshirt Spy was wearing was removed as it had become far too hot and sweaty for him to wear. He was given water as he’d had no liquids all day, but turned down food since he wasn’t hungry.
I won’t get into spoilers, I’m just going to say there is some drama in this story, it gets resolved in a very satisfying matter. There’s a bit of a meltdown, but it fits the narrative. The characters act like adults and talk to each other, what a concept! Yes, I’m being sarcastic because I’m tired of so many stories (in general) when characters forget to use their words with one another.
Karter Jenks is younger than I expected (23), but is ready for a mate, especially seeing fellow constable Bloom so happy. He does not expect to find his mate when searching for a burglary suspect, or for him to have a kid.
Omg, for a prompt I would absolutely love more Sterek mpreg and angst, but with a happy ending! I love your mpreg fics and you do angst so very well and your writing is just amazing in general! Like, all of your work is just awesome!
This was a well written book that borrowed items from today’s headlines and could help open the eyes of those that might not be aware of the struggles of minorities, women and those in the LGBTQIA+ communities. This was the first of A.m.’s books I’ve read but it won’t be the last. With well written characters and storylines this is a don’t miss book.I give it a 9 out of 10.
What a great read. The book takes you on a journey of emotions and surprises that keeps you focused on the main characters of the book. Dallas is kind and sweet and after a horrible attack in the park by a big ‘dog’ knows something is wrong. Roman’s wolf has gone nuts by attacking and now he must try and fix it. The book is well written and follows Dallas as he is forced to come to terms with what happened to him and how to coexist with his new wolf. Roman must teach him to survive, to do what he must to prove himself. Dallas just wants to go back home. Amazing writing with such discriptions and feelings that it brings you in and you feel the struggle of both Roman and Dallas as they fall in love and want so much to have a future together. The book also bring a end that bring the book full circle. I will be reading more books by this author.
Forgotten by his lovers, Ryoma left to America to start a new life. Now he’s a Grand Slam Champion, and going for another. He also has a new boyfriend, Kevin Smith. What will his lovers do to get him back?
A heat is the time when the Omega is most fertile and ready to mate, or just hide away until the heat is over. If they have an Alpha mate, they will never leave their side unless they need to get their Omega food or water. Mainly, they have sex and then rest. They keep a watchful eye over their Omega, listening to them and caring for them. But in bed, they still are the dominate ones. If an Omega has no mate, that could be dangerous to even leave the house. They could get raped and forced into all of this, even if they protest and try to run. So they basically lock themselves in a room and use many toys to get through this. A good part about this heat is that the Omega will self-lubricate, which means they only need to prep the Omega a bit more have sex. During these heats, the hormones in an Omega go all crazy. A strong scent is released during the heats, causing the Alphas to smell it and chase after the Omega. If there is already an Alpha with that Omega, they will fight the other Alphas off. Some public buildings have small rooms in their basements for any Omegas who suddenly fall into the heat and need help. In some verses, there are pills to stop the heats from happening and some verses have washes that help cover the scent up. There is a pad-like item for the male Omegas to help stop the leaking from the lubrication when they are in public.
It is just so much easier to mock something than to really engage in it. Like, how easy to point out the mpreg trope and be like, “Look at this crazy thing these crazy people are doing.” But mpreg is a really poignant commentary on how the biological fact that women carry children influences every aspect of female life in society. Tweak it so that men can get pregnant, too, and watch how things change: watch how the men are the ones now struggling with the questions that society so seldom demands of them. It breaks my heart, what so many mpreg fics reveal about how girls feel about their place in society. I mean, in Omegaverse, frequently the pregnancy-bearing gender is literally a prisoner of its reproductive function, lamenting the inability to ever lead a life with full freedom of choice, and, in fact, tasked with limiting exposure to the impregnating gender because, hey, they are not to blame if they’re tempted by the irresistible invitation of a baby-depository in their vicinity.
“Maybe we should take him to the hospital,” Dean suggested. There would be drugs there to minimize the pain and they were better equipped in case something went wrong. Castiel gave him a doubtful look.
He hates the slow slide of honeyed fingers in his hair. He hates the way the longer hairs at the back of his neck brush the leather collar Sam has him wear when they have visitors. He hates being Sam’s little pet. He hates the way the demon Captain watches Sam pet his hair, almost as much as he hates Sam petting his hair in the first place.
“I’ll be sure to get her ready then” the voice keeps talking. It sounds familiar. You wonder who the man was talking to. Picking yourself up on the couch, you look over the head rest to see a man with odd purple hair talking on your cellphone.
“Why does she keep doing that?” Spy huffed nervously as he watched the now four year old Anne Marie twirling around and around in one corner of the room. She had her arms stretched out, and was smiling and giggling to herself.
Mpreg Part 3/3Brett leans on the door and spreads his legs out. He pushed himself up when his water broke. A gush of fluids poured out leaving him breathless. Right when his water broke, a deep and heavy pressure pushed against his anus. “The baby. It’s coming!” The pressure comes lower and burns his opening. He shakes from the pain. His pants had to be taken off but he couldn’t move. He tried to push and see if the pain would go away. He pushed and felt his opening spread wider and wider. “Ah! It burns! Vicky!” He curls his toes and pushes. He feels a burst a bust and notices his baby’s head was out. He pushed getting excited to meet his baby. He felt his baby move out slightly but was stopped by his pants. He panicked trying to take off his pants but every move he made gave him shock pains in his belly and anus. He pushed harder but the baby didn’t move. He cried out for help and whimpered in pain. He worried that his baby wouldn’t survive from being stuck. “Cmon just please stay with me baby.” He
Yeah, as Everbright says… the biggest *cough* “realism” issue is that in an actual wolf pack, alpha male mates with alpha female, not with the omegas. Alpha female wolves are like alpha male wolves — often just as aggressive or more aggressive than their male partners. (There are documented cases of very aggressive alpha females with fairly easygoing alpha males.) Alpha males might in fact try to mate with other females in the pack, too, but it’s generally the alpha female who warns off the other females (an alpha male’s daughters will also warn off his attempts to mate with them), and I think I’ve seen theories that her dominance causes the subordinate females not to go into estrus anyway. Subordinate females, including omegas, who become pregnant in a pack risk the alphas killing them, killing their pups, driving them away from the pack, or in a best-case scenario, taking their pups to raise as their own…, Eregyrn, Jul 10 2012
I’ll be updating this post regularly as more great fics will inevitably come along. And I’ll always be happy to rec specific fics to anyone and everyone! Just ask. I read Johnlock fanfic 24/7 every single day so might as well utilize it somehow.
I rejected my father’s idea of what it meant to be Alpha — what it meant to be royalty. I lost my crown and homeland, and live in exile for plotting against my father’s machinations. I regret nothing. That isn’t true. My regrets haunt me every day. My sacrifice saved lives, and was worth it all….
Ewan, meanwhile, finds himself cooped up in an office at all hours, his life a stuffy and miserable one. A tiger shifter himself, he was adopted by a human family when he was only a child, and has never really felt he had much of a place in the world in which he lives. He wonders whether there could possibly be others out there who are like them, or whether he’ll be forced to spend the rest of his life in hiding, denying his true self.
Review: Fated and “instant” mate stories are often drafted with too much of a trope that seems incredibly artificial and unbelievable. For a short story, this author handles the “insta-mate” phenomenon with some fineness and more credulity than many novels. While the pairing was a central theme, surrounding setting and plot devices nicely brought out and reinforced the hesitant yet strong connection between the two, yielding for a pretty decent, quick, and enjoyable read.
Joel caught the big egg in his hand and cleaned it carefully, putting it beside the other eggs. He returned to his place between the man’s legs and saw another gush of fluids come out, indicating that another egg was in place. The egg which sac had burst when the man was trying to push out the large egg was having trouble getting out and Joel knew why.
Mpreg is also a of fanfiction, occurring with some frequency in slash and only very rarely in het. The man who gets pregnant is usually human and cisgender, and often the story offers no explanation for the phenomenon, although it may be explained by magic, medical experimentation, or simply the existence of an Alternate Universe where men are commonly pregnant. In some dystopian Mpreg AUs, the role or status of males able to get pregnant may differ markedly from that of impregnating males.
– When they walk around people just look at them like they are the ideal family- Alfred is charming and handsome, even if older, Arthur is still beautiful, and the kid is a beautiful splitting image of the two of them
