The concept appears frequently as a comedic gag in movie and television programs. In Monty Python’s 1979 film, Life of Brian, there is a political satire scene in which a character demands that any man has a “right to have babies if he wants them,” which is ridiculed as impossible. In the BBC science fiction comedy series Red Dwarf, the main character, Lister, becomes pregnant after having sex with a female version of himself in an alternate universe. In an episode of Sliders, the quartet “slides” into an alternate world in which babies develop during their final months in the father because a worldwide disease has kept women from being able to carry children beyond their first trimester. In the popular fantasy series Charmed’s fifth season, during a dream spell gone wrong, Leo ends up pregnant with Piper’s baby for a good deal of the episode, leading to her referring to him as an ‘incubator’ and at times berating him for ‘upsetting the baby’.
Marriage wasn’t all domestic bliss and barefoot pregnancies. Well at least that’s not how it started out for the Malfoy-Potters and if they were being honest with each other they expected no less, especially now that Draco had a permanent job as a Professor at Hogwarts alongside Harry.
”Se..Sebastian..there’s pressure down there. A lot of it!” Ciel cries. Sebastian’s eyes go wide and he scoops Ciel up and lays him on the bed before crawling on the bed himself. He spreads Ciel’s legs and sticks a finger inside him,His eyes bug out as his hand hits the top of something hard and slimy,Presumably the babies head. He gasps slightly as he feels his own child pressing against his anus,Wanting to enter the world. He whispers No to himself, and tries his best to prevent himself from giving birth right now. Ciel suddenly cries out,Snapping Sebastian out of it. He composes himself, and tells Ciel what he has felt.
“Uh, Keith? Buddy? Is there something you wanted to talk about?” Keith growled out a ‘no’ in a low voice that sent tingles through Lance as he chewed his lower lip. “Oh, uh, okay! Well in that case I’ll just get going-” Lance attempted to sit up and shake Keith’s hands from pinning his wrists, but he wasn’t able to as Keith held him down firmly. Okay, now he was a little frustrated, and maybe a little scared too because Keith was eyeing him like he was a hungry lion and Lance was a piece of meat. “Keith, listen! I don’t know what you think I did, but I swear it wasn’t me! You…you’re not gonna eat me, are you?” Keith growled again as his face moved closer to Lance’s, making him flinch.
Book wasn’t really for me. Blake was really selfish and immature. And wasn’t alpha like at all, you know he wasn’t protective or gentle and caring with his Omega, Josh. You know when you read a alpha omega romance and the omega has been through hard times and an amazing alpha comes in to give love, support and respect. Those are great. This one is the opposite. Blake only want josh for sex. Its frustrating because you really just want josh to be loved and cuddled. But in this book he is cursed at and used. It was sad the way Josh was treated and had been treated through his life by other alpha and betas.
Reaching down between his legs, Ferris felt his baby’s wet head. “I’m trying…” He panted, once more grabbing ahold of his legs and spreading them even wider to make room. With another contraction the merman bore down hard, groaning as he felt the shoulders bulge his vagina as his body tried to push them out at the same time.
There is no single accepted set of ‘rules’ for stories written in the genre, but they usually includes strong themes of dominance and submission, and possessiveness. Most stories focus on Alphas bonding and mating with Omegas, and there is a strong use of the “soul mate” trope as well as the concept of sex (or mating) as a biological imperative. Some stories will build alternate societal and cultural traditions, while others insert the Omegaverse conventions into an otherwise ‘real world’ or canonical story story.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single angel in possession of a healthy grace, must be in want of a mate. Unlike most angels Castiel was never too invested in the search for a mate. He knew his brother Balthazar was famous for conducting “extensive research” on the subject, but taking a mate just because it was expected of him wasn’t something Castiel was willing to do. So, he joined the ranks as a soldier and escalated quickly up the hierarchy of The Lord’s warriors. That is not to say that the idea repulsed him, quite the opposite. Castiel hoped to one day have a nest of his own, with a loving and caring mate and a flock of fledglings. As an Omega Angel he was given the gift to carry his own fledglings and dreamed of one day feeling the connection between him and his offsprings that many of the other omegas spoke of. Those dreams lost priority when he met the Winchesters.
“As transphobic as it is, I also enjoy putting a male character in a female position in society because I can visualize, empathize with that situation more.” (missingnolovefic, female, queer, 18-25, Germany)
Niso squeezed his hand lightly and nodded. “It’s okay Francis, breathe and push!” He said, looking to see the baby’s head was out now. “It’s out now, you just have to get the shoulders out in another push.” He said, moving to kneel behind Francis.

“Oh, oh!” he heard the man scream as another gush of fluids came out of him, signalling that the next egg was right behind this big one. Joel smirked as the man screamed in agony and tried to push the large egg out of his body.
My heart breaks for Jason and all he had to endure at the hands of his old pack. His parents saw what they were going to do to him, break him. Omegas have no status in their old pack and no choices. His parents run away with him. Jason takes it upon himself to find a place for him and his father. Mac captures a young and sees the fear and terror in Jason’s eyes. He tries with all he has to deny his attraction to Jason. I enjoyed the book and rated it low because of a twist at the end. The twist was great but there was no resolution to said twist. Adding a few more paragraphs to address it would have made a huge difference in the story.
