I love this Seal series and each book gives me a terrific read. This story was chocked full of action, intrigue and a bumpy journey to love. Ed and Colin’s love story was filled with conflict of values, lack of communication and the pull to be more than friends.
This would be one hell of a night. He held his breath as Akatora reached around him and made the hand seals to teleporting them all away, and the other two men made hand seals to follow. With Naruto making the first loud moan he would make that night, they were gone.
In bed, Mephiles sat up, silently watching over his dear mate. He watched as Silver slept and breathed in and out with his stomach moving a bit, showing the baby kicking and stretching its legs. Mephiles, who was curious, very much like a child, wondered how he could sleep like that.
He went over to the cot to look at his daughter. He stroked the top of her head. She wriggled slightly at the touch. Sniper then proceeded to pick her up to hold her in his arms. She looked up at him with her sea blue eyes. The assassin couldn’t help but grin.
Knowing what he needed to do, he gripped his knees and pulled them up, groaning in pain with a new contraction coming on. He bore down and put his chin onto his chest, teeth grinding to keep himself from screaming in pain. It hardly helped, and he yelled out anyway while he struggled to push.
The recovery included an brief introduction to the need to be controlled, hurt and dominated, and quickly acknowledges a laundry-list of BDSM-type activities and needs (without very little graphic depiction). Those looking repeated anddetailed BDSM scenes will be disappointed, and those squicked out by BDSM themes might not appreciate the ending. To me, the “Broken Alpha’s” need to submit to control and pain made sense, and the realization and acknowledgement of this need in the pair was interesting if a bit brief. The story touches on slipping into the submissive cravings and the exploration of how “submissive space” filled essential needs. While not quite as thorough or detailed as I would have preferred, I do commend the author for tackling this approach to BDSM (as I know many “real-life” submissives who use a trip into BDSM “sub-space” as an extremely cathartic release from past, abusive powerlessness).
Jax Hollister is no stranger to shifter prejudice. After watching his older brother convicted of a crime he didn’t commit, it’s the entire reason he left his pack to become a shifter defense attorney in Capitol City. Jax loves his work, but there’s a gaping hole in his personal life. No longer content with merely defending shifters, he wants to find one he can love…—an omega he can claim as his very own.
”WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!!!! I will fucking kill you for this you mark my words Grell!!!!!!!” Sebastian screams out before grabbing his white gloves off the table and smacking Grell across the cheek with them. Grell ignores it and gently rubs Sebastian’s stomach,Soothing it only a little as Sebastian begins bearing down again. He grunts as the babies head finally crowns with a gush of fluid and blood into his undergarments and trousers.
But that wasn’t the only reason I love this book. The secondary characters play such a major role, that without them, the book would be lacking something. It also feels like there are two different storylines going on that don’t compete with one another, yet weave together to make it whole. Getting close to the end of the book I wondered if maybe by the end, Tarek and Braun and some of the secondary characters story was far from over. And I am so happy to say that no, it wasn’t the final end, there is more to this series and as so as I was done with Saved I rushed to buy book two.
“I dislike the whole concept of [A/B/O]. I mean, sure there are parallels to ways of life in the real world where there are alpha people who kind of have the power over others, but that’s because it’s in different cultures, not on a biological level. And my instinct tells me it’s so basically wrong that people/persons can be reduced to animalistic aspects like it’s drawn out in the omegaverse.” (Laura, female, straight, 18-25, Germany)
“Here I was thinking I might get lucky….that still being like this was a bad nightmare I could wake up from…” The omega grumbled, hand going to support his stomach as he tried to shift against the folds of the bedding.
“Could be a number of reasons, it’s his first child. Generally speaking, first time labor takes longer. Also, Sam maybe a carrier but he’s very…manly, so to speak. He’s pelvis is shaped much closer to a man’s than a woman’s. Don’t worry though, both Sam and the baby are alright and he’s dilated eight centimeter now so there’s that.”
”Fine,Young Master. It just hurts,Them kicking.” He lies,Smirking slightly to fool Ciel into thinking he’s ok. Ciel buys it,and groans out as he grabs Sebastian’s shoulders and leans halfway into him,Swaying his hips back and forth. Sebastian rides out the contraction with him,Then straightens him up and leads him back around the room,Completely ignoring the growing pressure in his anus. Suddenly,Ciel gasps and grabs Sebastian’s arm,Nearly pulling him over.

Spy pressed the mask to his face and the gas and air was turned on. He breathed in the nitrous oxide, taking quick deep breaths. But he still felt the same amount of pain, if not more so than he did before.
This much we do know: Sophie Toscan du Plantier was murdered days before Christmas in 1996, her broken body discovered at the edge of her property near the town of Schull in West Cork, Ireland. The rest remains a mystery. Gripping, yet ever elusive, join the real-life hunt for answers in the year’s first not-to-be-missed, true-crime series. West Cork is FREE through May 9, 2018.
The High Tide Series by stardust_made – A rich arse of a bloke tries to woo a clueless John and Sherlock just about loses his mind I LOVE JEALOUS SHERLOCK (The first story is rated T but the other two are E so…) (my fave)
If you’ve never heard of it before, I can imagine that many people’s initial reaction is ‘wow, that’s really weird.’ When I first heard of the phenomenon I was equally baffled at the concept. I tend to avoid applying the word ‘weird’ to subcultures I simply don’t understand, but I confess I wasn’t exactly the most accepting person about it when I first discovered it. One day curiosity got the better of me, though, and I read some because, hey, nobody knows what I’m looking at on my own computer screen so why not give it a shot? At worst I giggle about it and move on. But to my surprise, it was actually pretty damn good. So then I read more of it. And then I wrote some. And then I just really couldn’t keep lying to myself anymore and had to admit that I’m kind of sort of a fan of it and I can’t even begin to articulate why.
Another common thread from our respondents was how enjoyable it is to see a couple that can’t traditionally make a biological child be given this chance. This usually involves same sex couples, but I was surprised to find that some infertile women could relate to this aspect of the genre as well.
Summary: It’s Ikki’s birthday and Grandpa Grimoire has an extra special (and extra small) surprise for him this year! He shrinks Kyo! When Ikki finds him with a red berry pie sitting not that far away, the temptation is simply too good to resist. Poor Kyo!
2. White Horses by Jackie Stevens: They say that there are no white horses – those that we think of as white are really just a faded and deceiving grey. Names can be misleading, and definitions can be false, and yet through the maze of artifice and deceit, we might just find something true. When Harry returns for his last two years at Hogwarts School, he will find that boundaries are shifting and not everyone is who he thought – including himself. He will have to learn that change is like those elusive white horses: swift, beautiful and irretrievable. ***This story is so incredible and poignant; I really have been wanting to draw fan art for it! Ultra fave.
fell in love with both Rocco and Kade and the doggies (including Mr. Lulu) and Luna (Rocco’s sister) and Poppy. I liked the first story in the series but absolutely love this one, it’s going to be difficult for Odin to top this one!
I won’t get into spoilers, I’m just going to say there is some drama in this story, it gets resolved in a very satisfying matter. There’s a bit of a meltdown, but it fits the narrative. The characters act like adults and talk to each other, what a concept! Yes, I’m being sarcastic because I’m tired of so many stories (in general) when characters forget to use their words with one another.
Only a week prior he saw the article in the paper about 20 men found pregnant and having babies. He read and reread the article gazillion times. He found it really hard to believe. He couldn’t be pregnant could he? He’s really not like the men mentioned in the news is he?
Written for hp-owned prompt – Harry is a mated alpha werewolf but finds the sexual dynamics between his mate (a werewolf!Weasley male) and him incompatible. As a result, their sex life feels dull. So Harry and his mate purchase a sex slave to play with… to spice up their sex life and bear their children. Their new slave pet and human breeder (to bear Harry and his mate’s babies). Yes, this calls for a an equally Dom!Werewolf!Weasley male and a Sub!Mpreg!Draco… also Human!Draco. by appleling
Draco helped Harry out of the robe he had put on earlier, and Poppy examined him to see how far into the delivery he was. While she was conducting the examination, Harry felt the overwhelming urge to push. Poppy’s eyes widened and she hurried to the door, shouting for Severus. Severus appeared in the doorway and she pulled him over to the bed.
Omegas have gone missing over the past century, but that will not stop Emperor Drocco from finding his. He enlists the help of renowned historian, Cailyn, a strong-willed Beta female. She is not at all a suitable mate for an Emperor… but the longer he spends in her company, the more she stirs something within him like no other ever has.
The method of how the characters healed and resolved these strains was not as gripping as I would have liked – it seemed a bit too expository more than riveting, although the basic actions and ideas in the resolution were certainly somewhat novel and compelling.
