The day went by pretty quickly. All I was busy doing was ignoring Dylan. Unfortunately he was in one of my classes. For that class, I packed my things before the bell so I could zoom out of the classroom before Dylan. It was a success.
Niso grabbed Francis and laid him back down. “It won’t stop unless you start pushing Francis!” He said, narrowing his eyes at him now. “So push!” He ordered harshly, gritting his teeth now. Francis choked back a half sob. No sensation like this had ever been inflicted on his body before; everything hurt. His eyes snapped open abruptly to what had to be the hardest set of contractions yet. “Gyahhhhh..!” He wailed then bore down with a loud grunt of pain. A horrific pain burned in his anus and his chest seized but he continued pushing. He could feel the ring of pressure building between his cheeks. Still panting raggedly, Francis wrenched his thighs apart and drove his chin to his chest. He pushed, hard, screaming profanities when a small, gory head bulged out of his stretched anus. Niso moved to in between Francis’ legs, looking between them and biting his lip as he sees the head bulging his anus. “Keep pushing, it’s crowning!” He said, biting his lip as he gripped Francis’ knees, spreading them apart even more. While he watched, Niso suddenly realized that he’d never actually assisted in a birth before but had given birth twice. He chewed the inside of his lip as Francis continued laboring, hoping against hope that nothing will go wrong.
So I decided to make a new ereri fic rec list after quite some time. And as it turns out, all the fics on this list are omegaverse fics (or contain some variation of the trope). If you like omegaverse fics, I hope you find something here that you enjoy. 🙂
Castiel held his hands in place for a moment, not even caring that Gabriel was holding Dean’s hand or that Michael was letting him drink his grace. Castiel had to focus on the child. He took a deep breath when he felt something move into his hands. He knew at once that it was the child.
Emerging Secret (Mpreg) Chapter 1 Part 1 Jim sat at his desk quietly. He felt the baby move down under the edge of the desk; she was getting so big. He was getting so big. He was 8 and a half months along, but she had dropped a few weeks prior. It had been hard hiding such a noticeable secret, especially a secret that gets bigger as time goes by. Jim wriggled around at his desk subtly, trying to maneuver himself at the desk so his bulge wouldn’t be pressing against the edge of the wood. It didn’t help.
I can’t say enough good about my reactions to this book. I loved reading how River and Ash grew up to be in love with each other, but life separated them for over 20 years. Despite the separation, the core of who each of them were, remained the same, and they were able to reconnect quickly.

“I tried really hard to like it, but I want to read about human beings — we are ruled by our minds mostly and as such, Omegaverse fics just are not relate-able in any sense for me. There’s a lot of lazy writing that goes on in it as well, not helped by the fact that since most everyone is written as an animal who cannot control their desires, the smut takes precedence over the actual writing.” (Dan, male, 25-30, Philippines)
“She settled with her feet tucked under her, watching the Alpha across the room as he paced and watched her, rumbling growls coming from him and a vicious snarl on his face. His black eyes were beautiful. They were like ink affected by magic—shiny, deep and bottomless—and they looked at her with a fierce desire that sent goosebumps over her whole body. Other Alphas were in the room, but she only watched him. Although the other men were also unbonded Alphas, her golden sight showed her the one with the most potential for breeding.”
Like Laura, Beccy (female, straight, 15-30, UK) also named “The use of a so-called “alpha voice” as a means of controlling every area of an omega’s life” as their least favourite aspect of Omegaverse.
Hard pass! Hard HARD pass!! Because FUCKING HELL this is MPreg. What on earth is with the fascination with male pregnancy?!? I dislike reading about FEMALE pregnancy and I am NOT the biggest fan of kids in books, so why on earth would I want to imagine babies coming out of MENS’ BUTT HOLES?!!? That’s right, I DON’T!!!! NOT everything needs to be a THING!! Severe dislike. SEVERE!!
Charlie’s an ‘Unwanted’ – a scum of the Earth who is transferred from one master to the next. Slavery is the only life he knows, but hoping for a better one is a waste a time. When his master gives him as a gift to one of the most powerful Alphas in the world, Charlie doesn’t realize that his life is about to change.
The “werewolves exposing themselves to humans” trope is a difficult one for me to appreciate without an extreme level of thought and sophistication. (The author’s treatment of this “coming out” wasn’t horrible, and had plenty of political and personality-driven machinations, but for those plots to be very enjoyable to me, I yearn for a very significant and deeply well thought-out world building and story. The reasons why werewolves remain hidden for so long, how they’ve interacted with and affected human events in the past, and why they are coming out now are massive questions that are difficult to answer in a short romance. For example, author attempted to address some of this with comments about World War I and the War on Terror, so kudos for at least trying to put such a earth-shattering, seminal event into some perspective. But to me this ices over World War II and the Cold War, which to me vastly, vastly larger threats by far to both humanity and especially werewolves’/supernaturals’ position and stake in the world.) Again, my respect to the author to at least try to address this, even if in this particular case it did not really enhance the believability (or suspension of my disbelief) too much for me personally.
This is a Pride and Prejudice AU. A good one. I don’t know what more information you could possibly need. It veers off radically towards the end for the sake of drama, which I’m not completely convinced was necessary if I’m being brutally honest, because P&P is epic and perfect just as it is, but Peter Hale as Lady Catherine De Bourgh honestly makes up for anything. Heh.
After being exiled for his pack for loving the Packmaster’s son, Alpha wolf shifter Matthias returns only to find his love Bree shunned when his Omega nature is evident. Young, true love is lost but found again in the cold of the winter snow and the overwhelming mating heat. Overall, while the underlying plot was sweet, the writing and the story were not very compelling. Fans of explicit Alpha/Omega wolf shifter attraction, lust and love and their overwhelming drive to connect during the mating heat may find this to be a sizzling albeit short read. While placed in a werewolf setting, the steam includes favorite themes of omegaverse enthusiasts such as male pregnancy (mpreg) and knotting.
My interest was even more piqued when I read the author’s introduction in which she names the current political situation in the US and Leta’ Blake’s Slow Heat (a book I thoroughly loved) as major inspirations.
Don’t worry about it, Stiles replies, but Derek still winces. Of all the days his meetings run over, of course it’s their anniversary. He grabs his work bag from the floor by his desk and flies out of the office, strategically ducking around the stragglers from the meeting who don’t have places to be and want to chat.

I’m squicked out by the power dynamics. I don’t want my beloved characters part of a world with dubiously consensual sex, oppression and discrimination on the basis of their gender, intensely strengthened gender norms, being made helpless with undesired child bearing and being a prisoner of their biology. It feels too much like choosing to roll around in the nastier bits of historical (and current) discrimination against women.” (aaa, female, straight-ish, 25-30, Australia)

He helped me realize that I had been living my entire life separated from the rest of the world. Through our love, he showed me what it was like to be a real man who wasn’t judged by wealth. I found that I liked helping the omega care for my house.
I did some research since it thoroughly confused me. What I found was this reply to an anon question by johnlocktentacles: “I guess the biggest problem for me, personally, is that there are a lot of folks out there who just loooove to read and write omegaverse fics, but won’t give fics with trans characters the time of day, and that’s shitty. If you go search for johnlock omegaverse fics, you’ll find plenty of reading options, but if you search for johnlock fics where one or both of them is trans, you get a tiny fraction of the number of results. to me, what that says is that people want to fetishize characteristics of certain trans people without actually acknowledging that trans people exist. People would rather invent an entirely new fictional structure than have trans characters.”
As Jack turned around to grab his things and head inside he saw someone in the distance looking out over the grand view that his property provided. More lost hikers he thought. A.M. Arthur was born and raised in the same kind of small town that she likes to write about, a stone’s throw from both beach resorts and generational farmland. She’s been creating stories in her head since she was a child and scribbling them down nearly as long, in a losing battle to make the fictional voices stop. She credits an early fascination with male friendships (bromance hadn’t been coined yet back then) and “The Young Riders” with her later discovery of and subsequent love affair with m/m romance stories.

Jared was born into his profession. He’d never met his parents. His father had been katil, killed in action, more legend than man. He used to wonder what his father would’ve been like, whether he knew about Jared. It seemed more people knew about his father than he ever did as a kid and it’s taken Jared an entire life to emerge from the long shadow his father had cast.
