“My favorite thing about Omegaverse is how the Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamic impacts the societies which has it. I seek out fics which do not ignore this aspect of the omegaverse. I also just enjoy the notion to begin with, it opens up a much broader space for gender when there are two factors to include. What if someone identified as one of their genders yet not the other?” (Mitzi, she/her or they/them, asexual homoromantic, 18-25, USA)
Hellfire by testosterone_tea – Magical Realism! John is a Berserker (powerful fire monster thing that’s supposed to be extinct) and is believed to be a threat to the country and Mycroft wants him held captive so of course Mage Sherlock is like NO.

The angel stayed seated in the same spot and thought over what the younger Winchester had said. This was a fascinating Omegaverse world with full, rich characters and am interesting history. I did find it a bit interesting that despite what seems to be like general dissatisfaction with the status quo, people don’t seem to be particularly mobile between provinces. And yet, there doesn’t appear to be any kind of restrictions/border control between provinces.
The next time Lance could pinpoint that Keith had been acting weird was when he noticed Shiro talking to Keith about…something. Lance didn’t know what they had been talking about, but they’d seemed to want to keep it secretive, because when they noticed Lance looking at them, they stopped. Keith had basically been shrugging Shiro off and even walked away while he was calling his name. Now that was super strange behavior from Keith.
Review: All of the elements of a good, unlikely alpha/omega mpreg romance and an underlying supernatural, political plot were present, but the work was lacking in the execution and exposition of these creative story lines and characters. The book raced through developments, shortly describing major events and changes without compelling prose or developing feelings and revelations at an appropriate pace that would entice and draw the reader in. Basically, the story and character ideas and conflicts were very solid, but the execution within individual scenes was often overly quick and simplistic.
The 3rd book in the series continues to expand this interesting premise of a world populated only by men. All the characters from the previous books appear here to continue to flesh out their stories. I like the interaction between the 2 main characters. The omega is mute, the alpha a constable. Through a series of events they meet and realize they are meant to be together. Don’t like spoilers so none here. If you want to read a good love story try this one and the …more
The sound of horses in this part of the woods isn’t unusual, but as far as Castiel knows, the next hunt is weeks away. The Duke may be neglectful and distant, but he’s always let Castiel and the other guardians of the park know in advance before anyone is expected to pass through his land, if only to ensure that they will have supplies and food waiting for them as is necessary.
Adam heard the other man stating the egg was sideways which meant it was stuck. Doing as he was told Adam continued to push as he felt the other man hand trying to turn the egg so that he would be able to push it out.
“Just push.” Joel instructed, letting his large hands move over the man’s heavily pregnant belly as he felt the man push with each strong contraction. The egg started to crown and the man was starting to make progress when yet another gush of fluids came out, startling the laboring man.
