Alois stood up as well walking over to the door he poked his head out looking down both ways. He could see Sebastian coming this way and his bright blue eyes brightened “Hey Sebastian! Can you help us out? Ciel needs to take a shower can you get it started?” Sebastian looked from Alois to Ciel who stood behind him looking a bit scared and much weaker now. He placed his hand over his heart and bowed “I’ll come for you when it’s ready” with that he turned and left going to the bathroom and starting the shower. Alois turned to Ciel he knew this feeling all to well and felt sorry that Ciel had to experience it out of all the people in the world why did Claude chose Ciel?

But you couldn’t move out of his way. How could you? You had to rescue Kaneki from Yamori despite Ayato yelling he was dead. You could remember Touka’s distraught face when she tried to attack him but you stopped her. You became angry he was trying to tear down her strong will. She was his sister after all! What an arrogant prick.

“I don’t like how Alpha and Omega in particular are basically a new gender solely made up so there can be gender roles for two people of the same sex, whereas what I like about slash is that this gender difference with its stereotypes is NOT present in the first place; and I don’t like how people are basically reduced to their biology and “can’t help themselves” and Alphas are basically like sexual predators.” (TheSilent, female, 18-25, Germany)
Adam couldn’t help but let out a scream as the man tried to pull the egg from him. Feeling the mans hand on his stomach, Adam felt the eggs starting to come up behind his other egg, hoping with his pushing and the other eggs, it would help him get it out.
The egg slipped free and Joel caught it and the moment he put it down, a gush of fluids exited from the man and he was soon groaning and clutching at his still hugely pregnant belly again, trying to push the rest of the 20-odd eggs out. It was close to dusk and Joel contemplated going to sleep to leave the man to give birth to the eggs alone. After all, he had a long day tomorrow, trying to find other people who ate from the ‘poisoned-berry’ bush.

He was more confused than ever now as Keith moved them to the headboard of the bed, somehow managing to do so while keeping Lance contained. Maybe he wasn’t struggling as hard because he was curious as to what was going to happen? Nah, that was crazy. Lance was seriously in fear for his life right now as Keith attached his bound wrists to the headboard and then moved to tie his ankles to the bedposts. Wow, he was being incredibly thorough. It was kind of inspirational, really. As a BDSM enthusiast, Lance was impressed with the beauty of Keith’s work as he took care with each knot that he tied. Shit, he was getting distracted.
Saved is my first venture into an omegaverse story where mpreg wasn’t the result of the paranormal. I’ve always been a fan of alpha/beta/omega dynamics, but primarily in a paranormal setting so this story was new territory for me. Regardless if this is your first time reading this type of story or not, one thing you’ll want to be aware of from the start—this is the first book in a series, and there is not full resolution at the end of the story. BUT…the author does an excellent job of drawing yo …more
He could feel the movement of the babies inside, which made a smile creep it’s way onto his face. Each time he felt their movement inside his distended belly, it made everything worth it; he’d soon be a father. He turned his body so his stomach was now above himself while he swam, and he rubbed the orb while admiring it’s growth.
Adam couldn’t believe he was on his own watching as the man left going to head to sleep. Hoping there wouldn’t be too many big ones he would birth, Adam knew having birthed a bunch so far, he could do it as the man had turned him so the eggs would roll out of the way for the others.
The Syngnathidae family of fish has the unique characteristic of a highly derived form of male brood care referred to as “male pregnancy”. The family is highly diverse, containing around 300 different species of fish. Included in Syngnathidae are seahorses, the pipefish, and the weedy and leafy seadragons. The males of some of these species possess a brood pouch on the trunk or tail; in other species, the eggs are merely attached to the male’s trunk or tail when the female lays them. Although biologists’ definitions of pregnancy differ somewhat, all members of the family are considered by ichthyologists to display male pregnancy, even those without an external brood pouch.
Joan is feeling a bit achy in the morning, but Sherlock urges her to come on a case with him in the middle of town anyway, telling her what she’s feeling is probably nothing. A few moments after they arrive to inspect the crime scene though, Joan’s stomach begins cramping and she feels water trickling down her thighs. When someone informs her she’s going into labor, she can’t believe it. She doesn’t look pregnant at all, and she hadn’t shown any symptoms. The baby was coming regardless of whether she believed she was pregnant or not.
Consequently, when the possibly highly romantic trope of bonding is drained of its consensual nature, it can become a squick, as is the case for Mae (female, asexual, demiromantic, 15-18, USA): “Forced Bondings are the literal worse. The concept of heats, I can stomach. Knotting? Great. Mpreg? Even better. But I typically refuse to read fics, even for my OTPs, if one of them is forced into the bond. It’s a little different for arranged bondings between families where they rebel together and manage to fall for one another in the process, but full-on forced bonding is a no-go.”
For example, on several occasions the omega did something the alpha would likely find very questionable and/or dangerous. When the alpha discovers the omega’s questionable activity, he simply asks the omega who immediately explains it away truthfully. The alpha immediately moves on, even though that level of deep trust between the characters really had not really been established. These were opportunities for some drama and intrigue, or at the very least building some real emotional and relationship ties between two characters who lusted after each other, saw some very good in one another, but also had every reason to distrust their prospective partner. Repeatedly flying through huge potential conflicting issues with a quick, trusting sentence or two just made whole aspects of the plot and relationship rather flat and unappealing.
