Where I Have Been for the Last 3-4 Months…So as you people who watch my page know, I haven’t really been active for a while. I guess I just ran out of time to log on and try to get some writing finished for once. But that is changing. I will log on as much as I can this year. With winter break ending in a couple of days, now was the perfect time to work DA into my daily routine. So hopefully you have all been okay without me. I have also been spending more time on Archive of Our Own, so you can follow me there! I love you all and I hope you are having a great day!
The Ragnarok takes a similar approach of Alpha/Beta/Omega AUs in her Inception fic The Revolution Will Not Be Civilized, in which Arthur is heir to the ruler and keeps his Omega status a secret, as Omegas are not believed to be capable of serving in the military or making political decisions. In this universe, both Omegas and Alphas go into heat, and Alphas are more capable of restraint than Betas when faced with an Omega in heat. Female and male Alphas can impregnate male Omegas, and male Omegas need medical treatment to conceive.
Now this was what I call a GREAT shifter , mpreg, alpha & omega m/m ROMANCE with a believable and exciting story line. Derrick the introverted, moody music teacher as the omega wolf shifter and Rowan our motorcycle riding, leather jacket wearing “bad boy,” the alpha were perfect together when they “finally” got together BUT that what made this book by author Preston Walker so incredibly good…the anticipation, mutual desire and just plain old fashioned courtship that lead to one of the most amazing romantic climaxes I have read in recent memory. Part of the lure of Derrick and Rowan for me was that Derrick, the omega was five years old than Rowan, the very macho alpha male only adding to the intrigue of their attraction to each other. Seeing how Mr. Walker worked his magic with his words as both Derrick & Rowan changed for the best and came to understand not only each other but also themselves just added to the appeal of their relationship together. Plus and a big plus it is…the actual plot of the book was so exciting and more importantly for me believable. In any book where you have either (or both) male pregnancy and [wolf] shifters an author must integrate both of these “fantasy” aspects into a realistic plot and Mr. Walker made all the pieces come together perfectly where EVERYTHING made sense and easy to follow. Simply put this was one of the best books in this genre I have ever read plus Derricks love of everything “music” was just lovely and poetic.
Setting : A man who had got stranded in the desert came across a bush with tons of tiny berries. Eating as many as he could, he found they had been poisoned. Thinking he was going to die alone, a man came across him taking him to his hut stating he had a way to cure him however it was going to be hard. Not wanting to die, the man agreed to anything as he was made to drink this purple liquid.
Don’t get him wrong, he loves Soyoon more than his life and he loves babies generally, but when you have to carry them and give birth that could leave scar mentally and physically, it’s difficult for Jimin who’s a dancer and his income depends on his body.
Michelle LePage is a twenty-something international woman of mystery, a gender and European history buff, an aspiring gamer, and unrepentant fanfiction addict. She is currently in an open relationship with BBC’s Sherlock, and it’s complicated.
Dean knew it was going to hurt and he didn’t want to hurt the child. He turned his eyes to the other archangels in the room for help and all three of them instantly straightened out to take the child.
Was the author ever gonna tell us what Jason’s power is? Don’t hint at something for that long and don’t reveal it to your readers. What are you waiting for? Book 2? Where the main character will obviously be Abel? What is the big freaking deal about Jason other than his spring horniness? I’m pissed. I sat through 200something pages and I still don’t fugging know.
The Last DanceHex got off the couch and walked to his room. He smiled as he picked up the tux sitting on his bed. He had to have it special made due to his condition. He touched his stomach and smiled as his baby acted up. “Soon baby, soon we’ll see daddy again.” The father of his child was taking him to prom. In an hour Blake would be there to pick him up. He still has to shower and get dressed up. This is probably the last fun he will have for a while. Hex is 2 weeks away from his due date. He figured that once the baby is born he will be stuck home every day.

Spy dropped the book he was reading, placing his hands on his back and stomach while gritting his teeth. He took a few deep breaths. That hurt. Not the worst pain he’d ever felt, but still bothersome.
Bound by the Fang is a m/m gay shifter mpreg novella with a HEA. No cheating, no cliffhangers. Each book in the Black River Pack series focuses on a different couple while expanding the overarching plot. They can be enjoyed alone, but it is recommended to read the series in order.
I think, especially when it comes to slash ABO stuff, it’s a really really demeaning and bad … philosophy? I guess is the word I want to use? The underlying idea being that sex is an animal instinct that can’t be controlled, and people are at the mercy of prescribed roles, and there’s nothing they can do about it. To me, it reduces same attraction to something that can’t be explained by anything besides some higher biological mandate. And that’s … that’s bad.
Akatora had bedded the younger nin a few times, and he did recognize the lustful movements, sounds and poses when he saw them. He looked the younger man up and down, and gave a low growl in the back of his throat as a confirmation on how he felt about it.
Now the two men not only have to navigate a confusing mix of emotions and figure out what the bond between them means, they have to do so in complete secrecy. Not even members from Ryan’s own pack can know. After all, it won’t be just their lives that are impacted should they fail–their unborn pup would also be in danger.
Tarly is a recluse, for the most part. He is an author of wildly famous success, but he has no one. Has never kissed anyone or made love with anyone, due to the “affliction” he has. He was told, when young it’s wiser not to be around people for long periods of time. He is an Alpha. He has been on the website but only for video hookups..nothing real, nothing meaningful.
Jumping at the harshness of Eren’s tone, he moved to held Eren onto his hands and knees, his mates fingers gripping the bedhead for dear life as more moans and whimpers poured from Eren’s mouth. Grabbing his phone, he tried to ignore the fact of just what was happening
Omega Rian doesn’t want to get married—not to an Alpha, anyway. Everyone knows they have… strange desires, and Rian’s scared. But the Black River Pack is besieged on all sides by enemies, and the Council wants him to get married… now. When he’s paired with Taryn, his life will be changed forever.
Some will see this dynamic as a stereotypical reproduction of male/female gender roles, with the man as the earner and the female as the carer. Another perspective might be one to view an Alpha’s caring nature and their more sensitive side as “new masculinity” as opposed to ‘tough’, ‘unfeeling’ men from the past. I have read fics that have Alphas struggle with society’s expectations of them as emotionally stoic and macho, with Omegas valuing their mate because he is “not like the other Alphas/like the stereotypical Alpha”. I’ve also read stories in which the Omega finds themselves appreciating ‘classic’ Alpha trades – which is often explained by their biological wiring.
I’m not big into M/M romance, but have to admit that the idea of a man carrying a baby sucked me in. The storyline was on point but I wanted to know more about both Cam and Harris. And the cousin. That twist needed to be developed more. There were some editing issues, but the biggest was Cam’s ex-boyfriend. In the beginning of the book it was mentioned that he left him for another man, BUT when Cam was telling Harris about it, a woman was mentioned.
Niso put his hands between Francis’ legs, holding the baby’s head now. “Keep pushing Francis.” He urged him, looking into the murky water where the baby’s head was. The water had gotten more pink from the birth fluids coming out.”Push, Francis.” He said, looking up at him now with a frown. “You’re doing it.” He said, reaching up and rubbing at Francis’ contracting stomach, feeling the muscles stain under his touch.
“Aside from the porny aspects, I think that seeing strong male characters faced with enforced gender roles and gender-based discrimination makes me feel better about how I feel when someone expects me to be a daughter/wife/mother/fuckmeat rather than a real person. I also like the more complicated social dynamics that are possible with primary and secondary gender.” (thedepthsofmyshame, female, bi/pan, 40-50, USA)
As he started to bear down again, he gripped his legs this time and spread them even wider, throwing his head back and yelling in pain while he bore down against the pain. He didn’t understand why this was happening to him, he’d taken such good care of his pregnancy and the eggs and babies he carried.
Nate came back into the room, loaded up with several fluffy towels, a blanket, and a kettle of hot water. Seeing his wife hunched over in the grips of yet another contraction had him setting his items down on the table, rushing over to her side. “Tia,” he breathed out, hands hovering anxiously over her hard, quivering belly.
