Cas smiles as Dean holds his side and sucks a breath of air through his teeth. At least someone’s knocking some sense into his idiotic spouse. “Good baby,” he says, patting a hand lightly against Dean’s stomach.

“My wife’s about to give birth!” he practically screamed at the nurse, causing her to flinch and touch her ears subtly. Lately, loud noises had been incredibly piercing. She felt a flutter in her belly and rubbed the round mass, easing her own unborn child. Clearly the baby didn’t like the noise either.

But for Vale, being with Jason means giving up his independence and placing his future in the hands of an untested alpha–as well as facing the scars of his own tumultuous past. He isn’t sure it’s worth it. But Jason isn’t giving up his destined mate without a fight.

“I like being with you too,” he murmured. “Now eat. Try this it tastes like chicken.” He pressed a piece of food to Lance’s lips and chuckled when Lance’s teeth lightly grazed his fingers. He hummed appreciatively and Keith continued to eat.

Computer programmer Peter Callaghan likes his quiet, boring life. But like every year since his seventeenth birthday, a rampaging need to screw every guy with a heartbeat takes over. During this time, he finds he can climb out of his shell and be a normal, horny and slightly sarcastic twenty-five-year-old. Peter knows the hulking man with a biker’s name will go down in history as his hottest bang, but Peter gets more than he bargained for. When the man shows up several weeks later, raving about pregnancies and mythological creatures, Peter realizes he’s being held captive by a person.

Or that one merfolk au where Levi (merman/male/dominant) and Eren (mermaid/arguably still male but in the submissive role here) are a pair of mates living in the wild, meeting for the first time by the lake that Levi inhabits.

A small contribution: actually, male betas CAN get omegas (both of genres) pregnant in some versions of the extensive world of omegaverse. The differences, in these versions, begins with the “duration” of the link with his omega, formed because of the bite behind the neck: They must bite them from time to time; that, and they have to pass a lot of time with them because they can’t provide a strong smell like the alpha that would stay for a long time, so they have to be sure that the smell doens’t “drops” in any moment. Their relationships tends to be even more emotional/sentimental/honest in several cases because beta doesn’t get affected with the smell of the omega “heat”, so they tend to please them then they need to copulate (if the omega doesn’t take the medicine, I mean).

Joel smiled as he heard the man’s water break for the first time and he went back towards the man, pushing his legs apart and check on the egg’s progress. Sure enough, the small egg had slid into place and was ready to come out.

I often find that MM romances cannot keep my interest long enough to get through to the end of the book. So often the author seems to go over the top with the interactions between the main characters and it just comes across as fake. This is not the case with Odin Nightshade’s work. This is only the second book by Odin I have read, and i have not read the others in this series but intend to do so when I have the chance. Odin has a way of weaving a tale that will pull you into the lives of the characters and bring them to life. You feel what they feel. You long for the things they long for. And you weep over things that happened in their pasts to scar them. Then, when the past is healed and they find their Happily Ever After, you find yourself tearing up and cheering for them.

Spy felt another contraction start. Sniper meanwhile, had managed to prize his wrist from his lover’s death grip. Ignoring his own pain, he took hold of the Frenchman’s hand and proceeded to rub his back as he pushed.

She nodded in understanding, slowly pulling away as he regained his footing.  Her hands slid beneath his shirt, palming the sweaty flesh beneath.  When she settled her hand against a hard bump at the base of his belly, they both let out a soft gasp of surprise.  The baby had definitely gotten into position!

What do you do, when it’s been 4 yrs since your love has passed? You have a son to raise yet you are so very alone and lonely? And you are an Omega? Go on a dating site and hope that someone decent responds to your post. That’s what Roam did. He never expected to find someone he clicked with.

“I like the idea of m/m pairings having a child with both of their traits, something that is 100% theirs that they both made. I like when it’s treated as something that is normal; as in just another off shoot of nature and has both parties excited [about] being parents.” -LM

He picked up his book, annoyed that he’d lost his page. He lay down on his bed, thinking maybe that would help. Another sharp pain a few minutes later answered that question. Spy curled up slightly from the pain. Non non non. He didn’t like this, he didn’t like this at all. Spy began to pant slowly. He got up and tried to walk it off. Another wave of pain shot through him. Spy leaned on the wall placing one arm above his head, panting even harder.

Some will see this dynamic as a stereotypical reproduction of male/female gender roles, with the man as the earner and the female as the carer. Another perspective might be one to view an Alpha’s caring nature and their more sensitive side as “new masculinity” as opposed to ‘tough’, ‘unfeeling’ men from the past. I have read fics that have Alphas struggle with society’s expectations of them as emotionally stoic and macho, with Omegas valuing their mate because he is “not like the other Alphas/like the stereotypical Alpha”. I’ve also read stories in which the Omega finds themselves appreciating ‘classic’ Alpha trades – which is often explained by their biological wiring.

QSFer Rebecca James has a re-released MM paranormal mpreg book out: Michael has wrestled with anxiety his entire life, and finding out he’s half-werewolf doesn’t help matters. When bond-mate Quinn … Read more

Thirty-five-year-old Kate Bowler was a professor at the school of divinity at Duke, and had finally had a baby with her childhood sweetheart after years of trying, when she began to feel jabbing pains in her stomach. She lost 30 pounds, chugged antacid, and visited doctors for three months before she was finally diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. As she navigates the aftermath of her diagnosis, Kate pulls the listener deeply into her life, which is populated with a colorful, often hilarious collection of friends, pastors, parents, and doctors.

I thought this was an excellent read. So far, I have loved each book by Preston Walker. I am a big fan of the mpreg romance and of course, Mr. Walker with his artistic license has his own stamp on this genre. I love the way he writes, his sentence structure, his world usage and his imagination in his world building. There were some nagging questions I had: why did Roman bite Dallas? It was not explained clearly enough to me. Why were the east coast wolves way more aggressive and primitive than the west coast wolves? Dallas’s character seemed to expand and grow off the page, embracing his omega that the west coast wolves clearly benefited. Other than these questions, I thought the book was excellent and an entertaining read. It is possible I read this too fast, eager for another read by my ‘fav-o-rite’ author. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an entertaining read. I rounded it up one star from the 4 I originally rated because he is my favorite author!!!

First, at birth, the doctors will announce the gender(male or female). In some verses, you can pay to have a test done to determine whether the baby is an Alpha, Beta, or Omega. In others, you just have to wait until they are about 12-24 years old to find this out. So in a way, you have two genders. The male/female gender and the Alpha,Beta,Omega gender.

If u read Lynn Hagen’s Brac Pack u get to see the couples raising the children. Their stories are background but the great thing about her books are they still get mentioned and even get a little spot light now and then.

Another contraction started. Spy began to pant before bearing down hard again. Medic, who’d been looking for any signs that the baby was emerging, noticed a crown with a thin coat of dark hair start to make an appearance.

What I want to highlight is that a person’s views on Omegaverse can be conflicting, not only because certain aspects are similar to those one enjoys in non-A/B/O fics, but also because it’s impossible to size up the entire genre and make generalisations.

Danny and BrieDanny paced back and forth clutching his swollen belly as Brie warmed the water in the birth pool. His contractions were about seven minutes apart and getting closer together each time they happened. He was actually more bothered by trying to walk with such wide hips swaying back and forth. He didn’t know how girls could do it, and wasn’t used to this female body shape even after over nine months of it.

A heat is the time when the Omega is most fertile and ready to mate, or just hide away until the heat is over. If they have an Alpha mate, they will never leave their side unless they need to get their Omega food or water. Mainly, they have sex and then rest. They keep a watchful eye over their Omega, listening to them and caring for them. But in bed, they still are the dominate ones. If an Omega has no mate, that could be dangerous to even leave the house. They could get raped and forced into all of this, even if they protest and try to run. So they basically lock themselves in a room and use many toys to get through this. A good part about this heat is that the Omega will self-lubricate, which means they only need to prep the Omega a bit more have sex. During these heats, the hormones in an Omega go all crazy. A strong scent is released during the heats, causing the Alphas to smell it and chase after the Omega. If there is already an Alpha with that Omega, they will fight the other Alphas off. Some public buildings have small rooms in their basements for any Omegas who suddenly fall into the heat and need help. In some verses, there are pills to stop the heats from happening and some verses have washes that help cover the scent up. There is a pad-like item for the male Omegas to help stop the leaking from the lubrication when they are in public.

The case of Sanju Bhagat, also known as Sanjay Kumar,[25] a man from Nagpur, India, attracted attention in 1999 for the length of time (36 years) he had carried his parasitic twin inside his body, and the size of the growth. Since Bhagat had no placenta, the growth had connected directly to his blood supply.[26] In an extremely unusual case, a 2-year-old boy became pregnant with his parasitic twin inside his stomach feeding off him like a normal fetus would feed on its mother. The boy required a Caesarean section. It is virtually impossible that the fetus could survive this process due to being underdeveloped.[27]

I love this series but this was the best one yet. It’s absolutely impossible not to fall in love with Karter and Jax. Karter’s transformation is wonderful and it made my heart so happy to seem him become a good alpha. This story is a tear jerker and I found myself needing tissues throughout it… But it was so worth those emotions. Such an amazing omegaverse story. I wish I could give it more than five stars.
