And then one night Cas gets tired of waiting for Dean admit it and scootches over next to Dean in bed and asks, “Do you want another baby?” and immediately Dean’s on the defensive like “No why would I want to carry around another freaking bowling ball for nine months”

“Sam, I have to check—Sam? How, How far along…? You’re with child?” Dean did a mental double take, thinking he had heard wrong. A child, Sam, what? Of all the things he thought that was wrong with Sam, pregnancy wasn’t even on that list. Dean suddenly felt jealousy flare through his body, up his spine and spilling out of his mouth.

NOTE: This is a non-shifter Omegaverse story with alpha/omega/beta dynamics, heats, knotting, and mpreg. In this world, omegas are second-class citizens with few civil rights and almost no protections under the law. Trigger warnings for physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. 67,000 words.

I was reminded of when I first started writing, I began with fan fictions I think that was three or four years ago. I thought it would have been easier for me to ease into the world of becoming an author. Truth be told I was on fire and could feel the apprehension at starting my writing career at the same time.  Over the years I’d read plenty of novels before finding fan fiction. And after reading more than I could count on my fingers and toes, I was completely convinced that I was ready to start writing. But there was one problem. I didn’t know what or where I wanted to. It’s pretty easy for some writers to sit in front of their computer and craft a story in hours. And there are other’s that can plot a whole series in hours or days. I’m the in between writer.

He picked up his book, annoyed that he’d lost his page. He lay down on his bed, thinking maybe that would help. Another sharp pain a few minutes later answered that question. Spy curled up slightly from the pain. Non non non. He didn’t like this, he didn’t like this at all. Spy began to pant slowly. He got up and tried to walk it off. Another wave of pain shot through him. Spy leaned on the wall placing one arm above his head, panting even harder.

Enter Arden Hersch, an arrogant Hollywood A-list…er whose hunger for an Oscar might be the only thing outweighing his hunger for horny young twinks. After winning the lead role in a dramatic biopic set in the Elmerville settlement, Arden packs his bags to get a first-hand taste of what Amish life is really like. And when Arden meets his host and discovers he’s not the homely old farmer he was expecting, the Amish lifestyle may not be the only thing he sets out to get a taste of.

Alois seeing Claude come this way pushing a cart he narrowed his eyes pushing Ciel into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. “What do you want!” Claude rolled his eyes “I’ve come to give you and Ciel some t-” he started but was interrupted “We don’t want any of your crappy tea!” Alois grabbed a cup and threw the whole cup at Claude which he easily dodged.

There aren’t a lot of MM authors out there that can pull me in within the first couple pages of a book, but Odin Nightshade does it every time! I received an ARC of Charmed Fates and this is my freely given, honest review.

“I’m intrigued by how fic authors treat a part of life that has traditionally existed only in the female sphere. I am particularly interested in how a writer treats the mental and emotional well-being of a man who is pregnant […] I feel like the trope has a lot of potential if authors use it to their advantage. It has a tendency to be fetishised, which isn’t bad, but I think there is a real avenue for writers to take this idea and explore how characters can change and adapt because of it. It also provides an opportunity for writers to explore gender identity and how pregnancy is intertwined with our concept of it.” -The Collectress

One of the two men was Kakashi, his former sensei and an alpha in his prime, leaning against the wall with his orange book in his hand. Not that he was really reading it, not at all, he was watching the young blonde with the fox mask who was practically drooling over him and the other alpha named Akatora, his long time friend and team mate. Akatora was eating his food, having his tiger mask on the side of his head, but when his eyes meet Kakashi’s, the man knew that the other was as aware of the fox watching them as he was. They were both aware of the smell of omega pheromones in the room, a sweet and thick smell that told them that Naruto had started a heat cycle.

As he was pushing, he felt the afterbirth in his vagina and he bore down long enough for it to come out. He panted, and started to bear down again; he still had an egg to birth. Just as his contraction receded to give him a break, however, his stomach contracted harshly again and he held his belly and groaned.

I would give it 5, but there are few chapters of Mark, where “Mark goes saving himself”. It’s a hint for the author, for one can clearly see the story has been switched around, who goes saving who, and it makes you hop out of the story itself. Otherwise – the chemistry between Seke and Mark was very nicely written and can’t wait for the third book, for that little thing aside, I think I’ll read it again and I can’t wait for the polar bear to show itself again.

“[Omegaverse] squicked me out. It seems a bit non-con to me in places and I’m really really uncomfortable with huge power dynamics in romantic relationships.” (Torin, female, lesbian, 18-25, Isle of Man)

It wasn’t a surprise his personal servant Mithra had become impregnated at the start of that Spring, (Mithra had yet to escape a breeding season without becoming impregnated, his body longed by all as it were) and Adonis was taking advantage of the fact Mithra was his own personal servant and not another’s by making him hold his pregnancy for as long as he could manage, and enjoy the fruits of this lustrum’s

Luke has escaped, leaving Hux to make a decision: To follow or to stay in the First Order and follow his childhood dreams and ideals through? His mind is made up after being tortured by an increasingly unstable Kylo Ren and realising how much Luke and his children mean to him.

He rolled back and forth, from his left side to his back, then his right side, and rolling back onto his back. He curled and arched his body, crying out and screaming as the pain assaulted him still. Nothing he did was easing his pain away, in fact it just got worse with each passing one.

So why do I bring that up? Because I thought it was cool to see two characters going through similar adjustments, deal with them similarly and yet differently. To see situations dealt with slightly differently and because of that evoke different emotions from me. It showcases the authors talent in writing diverse and thoughtful characters. I also liked seeing Jax and Karter overcome Jax not being able to speak as they worked through their difficulties and getting to know each other. That was one of my pushed “buttons”. There were just so many aspects to the story I really liked. “Meeting” Jax and Karter and being reunited with everyone else. Seeing Jax and Karter come together. Seeing just how much Karter has evolved from Saved. And watching the story unfold anxiously wondering what was going to happen.
