The doctor lingered for just a moment before responding. ”Listen carefully.” she began. ”What I am about to tell you is not scientifically possible, but it has happened.” She looked at Bonnie for a few seconds, then said, ”Bonnie is pregnant.”
As I said before, I understand, to some readers mpreg is strange. To picture a man waddling with a large stomach, it cannot be real or conceivable. But I ask the same question isn’t that what fiction and fantasy are? And to add another question isn’t the writer’s job to make it believable? And my answer is yes. Our job as the writer is to keep the reader engaged in the story we are telling that reading about a man getting pregnant is nothing but an everyday occurrence.
“Yes, good…” Joel murmured, watching the large egg stick out and he wrapped a hand around the tip of it, tugging at it experimentally. This prompted a scream from the man birthing the eggs and he let go of the egg.

Dean kept worrying. Thankfully, after an hour Sam fell into a light sleep. Good, he could up his strength to push later. Dean couldn’t wait for the baby to be born. Was it a boy, a girl? He was actually excited and his demonic side was…quiet. With it being so silent he felt like shit for going after Sam and nearly killing him…him and their unborn child. If he had succeeded, if Cas hadn’t shown up on time…no he wouldn’t think that. Sam kept whimpering softly in his sleep and Dean stroke his hair while shushing him.
Adam having seen how much energy it takes to birth a baby, decided to rest and gather his strength until it was time. The other man started walking around his hut placing a blanket on the sandy floor for the eggs that would come out of the man. As minutes turned into hours, Adam could see the other man getting tired as he started pacing.
Braun and his brother Kell have not had an easy life. Both having been born omegas means that they are seen as second class citizens and have fewer rights than alphas. In August 2013, destinationtoast created an analysis of Alpha/Beta/Omega fics based on how these fics are tagged on AO3. The statistics look at how A/B/O fic fits into the general categories on AO3 including how much is slash, femslash, or het, how it is rated, and how much is marked with the archive warning. The stats also explore popularity over time, common co-occurring tags, the relationship with mpreg, which fandoms produce the most A/B/O, and popularity within fandoms.
The mystery that revolves around the reason their relationship forms is what really holds the characters back, but it also pushed them forward. A happy ending was definitely in order, especially in light of all the sadness and bitterness that runs through the rest of the story.
From these basic elements a wide variety of fanworks can be constructed. Some A/B/O works are straight-up porn, some explore social justice issues, some turn the trope on its head and makes alphas rather than omegas the disenfranchised group, etc. A/B/O is mainly known as a fic trope, but fanart is possible.
A widowed, straight alpha needs a nanny for his child and discovers an estranged, single, and straight omega. What are two straight men to do, especially a desperate employer and an employee who needs a job, when the pheromones start to drive them wild? Is it the mating drive or the mutual respect that could overcome the “not my type” and “don’t jeopardize the job” vibes between the two?
Sighing, Aldin tossed his jacket on the couch after slamming the door behind himself. He was so tired of having bad dates, and at eight months pregnant with twins his emotions were making things ten times worse. He didn’t want to try with anyone else, not when he loved the very man that had left him alone and pregnant.
Another example of canonical fempreg occurs in Kotobuki Tarako’s mostly mpreg-filled manga Sex Pistols (published in English language as Love Pistols). Madarame Makio, a female character, has given birth to two sons by two different fathers and has also ‘fathered’ two more sons with her female partner Tokashiki Karen.
As minutes passed, the sun rose behind him. In the first light, Alvarr felt like he was the only one alive. But, he admitted, at home won’t be much different. Even if the other stallion-shifters accepted him, the mage instinctively knew that the companionship of the tribe wouldn’t be enough. Not for him.
Fast forward. It took me a WHILE to get into this story. I think it was because I didn’t like Jason’s character before he got caught by the Mercy Hills pack. I got that they were on the run and he wasn’t exactly emotionally or physically stable, but the reason I didn’t like him was his POV narrative. How do you make being chased by men who want to hurt you and kill your father boring? I couldn’t get into the story because the part that should have been tense and exhilarating left me yawning. And wtf was up with the decision making in this book?
Ready to explore issues of omega rights and the challenging experiences of physical, emotional, and sexual abuses inflicted. The setting provides an opportunity to consider harsh and difficult issues that actually impact our current real life experiences through the lens of life lived in an Omega …more
At the hospital, Bonnie sat in a chair in front of the doctor’s desk, holding tightly onto Freddy. Chica was at his right, her hand on his shoulder. Foxy, out of order at the pizzeria, was absent. The doctor, a brunette woman in her late twenties, appeared and offered her hands to the animatronics.
A very early example, (perhaps the first?) of mpreg art, from the 1980 Star Trek: TOS zine Galactic Discourse #3, artist Linda White. “Bones, would you come to my cabin please? I think it’s time you learned the truth about Setarcos.” It is a riff on the story Beyond Setarcos
To be fair this is one of the better m-pregs I’ve read. The sex scenes were decent and the characters, the actual male ones, were alright. But even with that, I still didn’t like it lol. Maybe I’ve been too warped by other m/m romances, and maybe due to the reviews, my expectations were too high, but this book just didn’t hit the mark for me. I doubt I’ll be reading part 2, Abel’s story.
Sam goes into his first heat unexpectedly while the boys are stranded alone miles from anywhere, and Dean has to take measures into his own hands to help Sam through it. Life, love, and tragedy ensue.
Summary: Eren is one of the few Alphas who go into rut without the presence of an Omega in heat nearby, and after suppressing it for nearly two years, the drugs are no longer working. As a last resort he heads to an Omega refuge, hoping to find a suitable, but temporary, mate. When he finds one lost in a fatal ‘red heat’, he’ll do whatever it takes to ease his suffering.

The relationships between the Alphas and the Omega were the most engaging parts of the book, generating some decent interest as well as a twist or two that I wasn’t quite expecting, but also occasionally left a bit to be desired. There were certainly some sweet and reassuring “rescue and comfort the Omega” scenes, but also some interesting conflicts, including some over-the-top reactions that made some sense and helped make this to be a bit more than a simplistic “rescued and then fated to mate”story.
Karma has it in for Moswen. Trouble follows him around like a demented, faithful dog. Moswen never means for things to happen the way they do. It just And while things may seem bad at first, everything eventually works out for the best even if the road to getting there is a less than a smooth ride.
Summary: Levi is less than thrilled when he finds out his uncle has decided they’re moving in with his girlfriend and her nephew. He’s never met the kid, but based on the fact that Eren is a cheerleader over at the omega High School, he’s pretty sure that living with him is going to be painful – with the younger teen being a manifestation of everything he finds obnoxious in the world.
Daichi going upstairs to check on his family when he hears through the doors of the playroom Suga giggle out, “I have us hostage! Unless you want to see us again, you must bring us 500 kisses in an hour!” followed by their child giggling, “Yeah daddy! Bring the kisses!”
