I rejected my father’s idea of what it meant to be Alpha — what it meant to be royalty. I lost my crown and homeland, and live in exile for plotting against my father’s machinations. I regret nothing. That isn’t true. My regrets haunt me every day. My sacrifice saved lives, and was worth it all….
“Ohh, yes… wrong, it’s wrong, too fucking early…Argh!” Why did he keep saying that? Castiel finally pushed Sam’s arms out of the way and he put his hands on Sam. What did Sam have? Maybe it was an incurable stomach cancer that finally caught up to him. Dean ignored the fear that ran up his spine and smirked.
I thought I’d gotten used to being so big, but it was still an ordeal to heft myself out of bed, my gravid belly swaying slightly with the motion as I shuffled as quickly as I could with swollen ankles to relieve my shrunken bladder.
Spy hesitated, not sure if he wanted the man he loved to see him like this. But after Sniper had continued to rattle the door handle, he made the decision to let the Aussie in. Sniper walked in, and saw the state Spy was in.
Finally as he stands to leave the room feeling broken and desperate does Hux speak again. His tone has gone back to its usual sharpness, he has a cruel smile on his bloody lips and his eyes have a spark lighting them up. ’I named Kylo Ren’s daughter with the ridiculous and grandiose name he suggested for our heir when we talked about the future together. She’s turning four in two months. Soon, the Supreme Leader will start training her. But she already knows one truth: that Solo murdered her father Kylo Ren.’
Misconceptions by Diana Williams — early, long (60 parts) Highlander AU with Methos becoming pregnant. As Immortals are normally incapable of bearing children, a lot of stories in the fandom tried to figure out ways to give the Immortals children. Sometimes a threesome was required, sometimes the Immortal had to be over several thousand years old, and sometimes…well, things happened. (Started sometime in 2001.)
Matthew Bruner is a bear shifter destined for greatness. Or so that’s what he’s always been told. As the next in line to become alpha of his clan, Matthew’s days of singlehood are drawing to a close. Long since committed to a prearranged mating, Matthew finds himself feeling trapped and, worse, afraid. In a desperate attempt to prolong his freedom, Matthew flees his family’s ancestral home and heads to the nearest city. It’s there that he meets Ezra Tier, a tiger shifter with a bad streak the size of a mountain.
At least one-third of the people we know are introverts. They are the ones who prefer listening to speaking, reading to partying; who innovate and create but dislike self-promotion; who favor working on their own over brainstorming in teams. Although they are often labeled “quiet,” it is to introverts that we owe many of the great contributions to society–from van Gogh’s sunflowers to the invention of the personal computer.

He waited for the next urge to push and bore down as it happened. “GODD!!” He shouted and grunted feeling thing make way. He breathed heavily and fingers went to explore his ass feeling the large round thing that was now bulging out of him – he felt something that seemed like hair and flesh. He yelped – what was happening to him? – pushing through another contraction the thing slipping faster out of him now that it had crowned. “Aahhh!” He looked down past his stomach to see it hanging out of him.
Sweet, steamy, quite funny, and very Christmasy! I loved Tobias and found his need for a keeper endearing. His feisty personality leads to some very humorous moments (wait til you get to the eggs!). Malcolm is the protective and organized guy that everyone wishes they had, running interference with coworkers, jilted dates, and family alike. These two work together for years before one turning point clues them in that they have great potential to be something more. Of course in this world omegas often get treated as lesser people and the company has a strict no fraternization policy to boot. What to do? In addition to these relationship strains, Tobias finds himself flooded with family for Christmas, turning his nice solitary life upside down. I loved all the Christmas touches and fun traditions that Tobias’s family followed. I also really enjoyed the family themselves–especially the sister and the fun bits with the niece. This was just one of those fun reads that you might read on KU but will wind up buying to be sure it’s always available for a holiday and romantic (steamy too!) read anytime of the year.
With extraordinary access to the West Wing, Michael Wolff reveals what happened behind-the-scenes in the first nine months of the most controversial presidency of our time in Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. Since Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, the country—and the world—has witnessed a stormy, outrageous, and absolutely mesmerizing presidential term that reflects the volatility and fierceness of the man elected Commander-in-Chief.
Its results don’t always make sense, but that’s why it gives you five options. Feel free to select whichever one suits you best and discard the rest. Any ‘real’ titles generated are entirely coincidental. I’m pretty sure that any fictional places or characters invoked are within the public domain, but you might want to double check on that before using it.
Omegaverse is really a fascinating fandom invention. 50% of it is totally problematic and reinforcing a lot of fucked up patriarchal, rape culture values. The other 50% is some of the most insightful, subversive social commentary I’ve ever read on gender identity/gender roles/queer oppression.
Review: The genre of an “abused/tortured” Omega being rescued by hunky Alphas is one of my favorites, and this book has some nicely satisfying elements of this type of “Prince Charming” (or, in this case, Charming Princes) tale. The characters were nicely diversified, the emotions (good and bad) had some resonance, and despite a type of “fated mate” trope there were definitely some twists, turns, and potentially insurmountable obstacles in the story and the relationship.
I have had this book in MY TO READ FILE since it came out, but only started to read it late yesterday and then couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I already have the next book which I will start after I tell you how wonderful this book is. So far there have been five books, each one different, but a compelling love story and each person is real. Their profession vary along with their outlook, but each of them love fiercely, completely and prospectively. It makes no difference that the lovers are men, but each one is unique. In this book one is a bad boy with a heart of gold and a good mind and the other is musically inclined and is teaching young children to be carefree and happy. They meet under unusual circumstances and are drawn together like magnets . It is beautifully written from beginning to end with lots of mayhem in between.
Hard pass! Hard HARD pass!! Because FUCKING HELL this is MPreg. What on earth is with the fascination with male pregnancy?!? I dislike reading about FEMALE pregnancy and I am NOT the biggest fan of kids in books, so why on earth would I want to imagine babies coming out of MENS’ BUTT HOLES?!!? That’s right, I DON’T!!!! NOT everything needs to be a THING!! Severe dislike. SEVERE!!
Scratch that, it was the perfect time to socialize: a lazy Saturday morning with cotton candy clouds and drowsy orange sunlight. The two were out shopping for Arthur’s insistent cravings. Alfred had wanted it to remain just the two of them, relishing every second of their time together before the inevitable addition to their little family, but they’d managed to draw in quite the crowd upon their entrance to the store.
