The High Tide Series by stardust_made – A rich arse of a bloke tries to woo a clueless John and Sherlock just about loses his mind I LOVE JEALOUS SHERLOCK (The first story is rated T but the other two are E so…) (my fave)
2. Mpreg, as a category, is the fetishization of trans men’s bodies to primarily pursue male pregnancy above all else (often involving plenty of smut), more often than not ignoring any and all trans experiences that either don’t fit the narrative they want to tell, or are too ‘difficult’ or ‘scary’ for the writers to write. This is deeply fetishistic in a world where there’s next to no representation of trans men that doesn’t include the fetishization of their bodies and the sexual use of them in ways befitting the cis gaze and standard dehumanization.
It is just so much easier to mock something than to really engage in it. Like, how easy to point out the mpreg trope and be like, “Look at this crazy thing these crazy people are doing.” But mpreg is a really poignant commentary on how the biological fact that women carry children influences every aspect of female life in society. Tweak it so that men can get pregnant, too, and watch how things change: watch how the men are the ones now struggling with the questions that society so seldom demands of them. It breaks my heart, what so many mpreg fics reveal about how girls feel about their place in society. I mean, in Omegaverse, frequently the pregnancy-bearing gender is literally a prisoner of its reproductive function, lamenting the inability to ever lead a life with full freedom of choice, and, in fact, tasked with limiting exposure to the impregnating gender because, hey, they are not to blame if they’re tempted by the irresistible invitation of a baby-depository in their vicinity.
Single and popular, James is obsessed with the high life and does not want to settle down. That is, until he meets Stewart. Devastatingly good-looking, charming and aloof, Stewart is everything James never knew he wanted; except that he seems to have something against James and everything he stands for.
I’m not big into M/M romance, but have to admit that the idea of a man carrying a baby sucked me in. The storyline was on point but I wanted to know more about both Cam and Harris. And the cousin. That twist needed to be developed more. There were some editing issues, but the biggest was Cam’s ex-boyfriend. In the beginning of the book it was mentioned that he left him for another man, BUT when Cam was telling Harris about it, a woman was mentioned.
A Second Chance at an Extraordinary Love—and Lust… When Chad Stone and Josh Bennett last crossed paths, both had been on the fast track to fame. Josh — Chad’s best friend Ashley’s scorching hot older brother — was on his way to football stardom, while Chad was…
By now most of you know I published an Mpreg book, My Omega’s Baby in June and then the second book, Rockstar Baby in the series in August. I was terrified to write these stories at first because I was afraid my usual readers wouldn’t like them. I myself was a little freaked out when I first heard about Mpreg. But as I read the stories, it became clear they were very much the same sort of thing I already write with MM Romance, only even more emotional.
Enter Arden Hersch, an arrogant Hollywood A-list…er whose hunger for an Oscar might be the only thing outweighing his hunger for horny young twinks. After winning the lead role in a dramatic biopic set in the Elmerville settlement, Arden packs his bags to get a first-hand taste of what Amish life is really like. And when Arden meets his host and discovers he’s not the homely old farmer he was expecting, the Amish lifestyle may not be the only thing he sets out to get a taste of.
As he came running out from the ANBU head quarters, he almost ran into a group of two men and one woman, the man he almost ran into being a big alpha called Bear that he had found particularly attractive, but never had a chance to hit on. He gave a playful laugh towards the man and invited him to the chase by releasing more pheromones and letting himself stroke his body against the other man as he passed, and then dashed of, leaving the people behind and running for all he was worth.
Unbeknownst to the laboring man, Joel had set up cameras in the room and was now currently sipping wine out of a glass, enjoying every second of his live footage. He saw as the man gripped his egg-filled stomach and pushed, panting and groaning as the egg slowly came out of his hole. The small, cream-colored egg dropped out and the man caught his breath before yet another gush of fluids came out from his sore opening and he was at it again.
Meeting cool, calm and ultra-wealthy Travis Larkin, an Irish businessman and real alpha male, seemed to be the perfect opportunity. Omega. Breeder. That’s what Erik was. As an Omega, his pack had all the rights to him, and anyone willing to take him could claim him as their own when he came of age. When five colleagues are forced to go on a corporate retreat in the wilderness, they reluctantly pick up their backpacks and start walking down the muddy path. But one of the women doesn’t come out of the woods. And each of her companions tells a slightly different story about what happened. Federal Police Agent Aaron Falk has a keen interest in the whereabouts of the missing hiker.
The circumstances are believable, the characters are well drawn, and the way these two men re-explore their relationship is wonderful. It was a nice long satisfying story with all the major points covered. It was nice to have an underlying theme – That power and wealth corrupts, that you should be true to yourself and not live your life the way others want you to. Life is about living it the way you want to, to love the one that completes you. Who cares what others think.

Sam ground his teeth and felt his eyes sting both with anger at not being there and the idea that he was an uncle but he might not ever be able to see his niece or nephews, “Can I at least see Dean soon?” he asked.

Dean couldn’t believe he was holding a child that was his own. He had never expected to ever have a real family but he did now…yeah it was all supernatural but that didn’t matter to him. He had two of the most beautiful angelic human children he could have ever wished for.
I awoke that morning feeling Braxton Hicks contractions in my belly but decided to just shrug it off for now. I was sure they’d stop once I had some food. I climbed out of bed as Brian continued to snore softly beside me and waddled to the bathroom to relieve myself. I was just getting ready to sit down so I could go when I felt a pop water rushed down my legs soaking the bath mat.
The book was a slow read, and more often than not I felt forced to finish it out of pure obligation to see it through. Mostly it was filled with teenage angst coming from two men in their mid to late 20’s. It was a better read than most m/m shifter books out there since the author appears to edit and for the most part stay with the correct character. But it was missing the zest that I’ve grown accustomed to reading in other m/m romances.
Fast forward. It took me a WHILE to get into this story. I think it was because I didn’t like Jason’s character before he got caught by the Mercy Hills pack. I got that they were on the run and he wasn’t exactly emotionally or physically stable, but the reason I didn’t like him was his POV narrative. How do you make being chased by men who want to hurt you and kill your father boring? I couldn’t get into the story because the part that should have been tense and exhilarating left me yawning. And wtf was up with the decision making in this book?
(Also known as the fic where Nagisa gets knocked up through an unlikely turn of events, Karma doesn’t know how to deal with it, and the author has no idea what they’d have done if they didn’t end up becoming literal billionaires)
I’ve always wanted to know what Reeces story will be like when I started the “Undercover Alphas” series. And I’m not disappointed. It’s not a action packed story like the previous two. This book focuses more on emotions and feeling. It’s a beautiful story with HEA.
He scooted in as close as he could to Rhys with the young omega’s swollen belly, draping a heavy arm about the young man’s upper body as he quietly nuzzled and scented along Rhys’ forehead, smiling at the soft brush of Rhys’ unkempt hair against his nose. He kept close to the omega, enjoying the quiet moment, until he felt Rhys starting to shift and wake in his arms. He tucked his chin to his chest, looking at his omega with a gentle smile as Rhys’ slowly stirred, blinking his eyes up at the alpha.
You can add books with characters that have animal characteristics but don’t actually shift so please no coyote packs etc. (Mainly, don’t add werewolf romances since there’s just so many and are so similar. You can add exceptions to shifter romance such as Stephanie Burke’s Absolute Perfection.)
This is a Pride and Prejudice AU. A good one. I don’t know what more information you could possibly need. It veers off radically towards the end for the sake of drama, which I’m not completely convinced was necessary if I’m being brutally honest, because P&P is epic and perfect just as it is, but Peter Hale as Lady Catherine De Bourgh honestly makes up for anything. Heh.
