Thick sheets were hanging from the carved horns of the headboard, fluttering down in a nice canopy to the edge of the bed, where they had been expertly tied around the fancy golden posts, allowing just a slight peak inside the main belly of the nest. Jack squinted against the dim light, just barely able to make out a foot, clad in the blue stars and yellow stripes of one of Rhys’ signature socks. An amused grin spread across the alpha’s face as he tiptoed towards the nest, knowing well enough not to disturb what Rhys had no doubt meticulously put together over the course of an afternoon. He’d learned the first time that a pissy, pregnant omega whose nest had been carelessly treated was not something he wanted to deal with.
Sam was a rare carrier. When Dean and he had both started their relationship they had been extra careful. Sam took his pills regularly and they always used a condom when they had sex. Unfortunately, carrying an angel around really contradicted birth control, or so Castiel told him over the phone. So here he was, six and half weeks away until his due date and instead of relaxing like the doctor told him to (she didn’t like how small Sam’s stomach was. It looked like he had gotten a small pouch of fat instead of looking pregnant and he only gained fifteen pounds.), he was curing his demonic brother. The brother who was also the father of his unborn child and whohad no clue that Sam was pregnant.
When Kim Seokjin finds out that his mate has been cheating on him he takes their child, Taehyung, and leaves Namjoon – the Omega building up a support system in their new home as he comes to love an alpha named Yoongi. Meanwhile Namjoon is focusing on the growing success that is his music career, and on the pent up emotions he is experiencing from losing his mate.
“Samuel, you need to relax and not push yet. You must conserve your energy for the trials ahead. Dean,” he turned his attention to the angel, “I think it would be best if you held him in your arms, for emotional support, of course.” Of course, Dean snorted and took off his shirt. Before he got behind Sam he decided to take off Sam’s, too.

“Pregnancy and birth has always fascinated me, and childbirth has been something of a kink; the added spin of a male experience with these life events, and the simultaneous strength and vulnerability inherent in them, is very appealing to me. My personal preferences focus on the childbirth event and the experience of the man in question and the support of his partner.” -J.M.
As the weeks went by, Chris’ belly got larger and larger, but he was never uncomfortable. His skin seemed to grow quickly enough to avoid stretch-marks or unpleasantness, but the baby inside seemed much lighter than it would seem, considering its size. At two weeks, Christopher’s stomach was the size of a small beach ball, and he held it before him as if it were one, filled with not much more than air.
“G-Get it out then!” shouted, writhing in the water. “I don’t care..haa…reach in and pull the fucker out if you have to!” He swore loudly, feeling his opening start to split and bleed as the baby forced itself out.
Fertility has been documented in intersex people. An XY-predominant intersex person with true hermaphroditism (96% mosaic) can give birth. There has been a reported case of an XY woman who experienced regular menstruation, two natural pregnancies, and gave birth.
When he figured his break had lasted long enough, he hefted himself back up out of the coral and stretched, groaning with delight as his back cracked. Turning upright, he continued to swim, swimming a little closer toward the surface as he felt along his gravid stomach. It’d been a long day of swimming, although he was glad to get up and moving.
Artemis Wolffe and Mercy May are 2 of my favorite authors. This is the first book I’ve listed to narrated by Gus Klondike. I was not disappointed! Gus made the book come to life. I will definitely be looking for more books narrated by Gus Klondike! I highly recommend this book!
Next up I have a re-release of Guarding My Heart. It’s about a rich kid who has had his heart broken and the bodyguard who comes to watch over him when there are some threats against him. It’s fascinating to me how differently I write now. I’ve added a ton of new words and completely changed the ending of the book to give the readers MORE!!! That was one criticism of the book originally, that it ended too abruptly. I did that a lot more when I was a new author.
Don’t worry about it, Stiles replies, but Derek still winces. Of all the days his meetings run over, of course it’s their anniversary. He grabs his work bag from the floor by his desk and flies out of the office, strategically ducking around the stragglers from the meeting who don’t have places to be and want to chat.

The relationships between the Alphas and the Omega were the most engaging parts of the book, generating some decent interest as well as a twist or two that I wasn’t quite expecting, but also occasionally left a bit to be desired. There were certainly some sweet and reassuring “rescue and comfort the Omega” scenes, but also some interesting conflicts, including some over-the-top reactions that made some sense and helped make this to be a bit more than a simplistic “rescued and then fated to mate”story.
