It all started with a few papers in the wrong hands… Omega rabbit shifter Elliott works as a graphic designer at Reynolds Enterprise. When one of his experimental works ends up in the hands of his boss, who then delivers it to his boss, Elliott soon finds himself behind the door of none other but Mr. Felix Reynolds himself…
Stretch marks littered his lower belly and along the sides, and his bellybutton looked almost flat to allow more space for his babies inside his womb. He mildly wondered if his body would ever go back to it’s previous glory, but he figured he wouldn’t care once his babies were born and he could finally see them and hold them in his arms.
Writers who build a story around mpreg knows they’re writing about a man getting pregnant. They are aware of the gender differences. But isn’t that the reason we read fiction and fantasy? Isn’t it also the point? We read fiction for one reason to read about a world that doesn’t and would never exist. Male pregnancy is fun to right. It’s fun to build a large world where a man can get pregnant naturally
For female Omegas and Betas, it works just as real life should. For male Omegas is where it gets complicated. Since their uterus is not in the normal position, there will most likely be a c-section, or Cesarean section. Basically they cut their body open and go into the womb, pulling the baby out that way. There are anesthetics that can be used to help numb the pain.
Told from a dual POV, the two shifters were quite perfectly and evenly matched, despite one being an alpha and the other an omega. As with the first book in the series, compromise played a large part in the story. I was pleasantly surprised by how much Rocco, the alpha, was prepared to give to make Kade happy, and that worked for this pairing. And yes…there is a pregnancy.

Indeed, Loki was aware of how terrible he looked, though thankfully he was no longer in agony thanks to a good dose of morphine. He still donned a neck brace, but he also now had plaster casts on both his arms and legs.

For Adelene (female, straight, 25-30, USA), the genre of Omegaverse shows how fandom, consciously or not, is dealing with “toxic hyper-masculinity, docile housewife, and people. It creates an interesting dynamic where you are in a way removing the stereotypes from genders and assigning them to a dynamic that is assigned based more on the personality of the character.” The infinite ways authors depict this, despite starting from the same framework, “gives you an insight into the many ways those stereotypes are perceived, reacted to, broken, and affect people both in fic and real life. I say real life as well since any writer draws from their own experiences and that always colors their writing.”

I mean, I know it was because of Claude but, I could’ve ran in and closed the door myself.”[/fancypost]
I’ll be updating this post regularly as more great fics will inevitably come along. And I’ll always be happy to rec specific fics to anyone and everyone! Just ask. I read Johnlock fanfic 24/7 every single day so might as well utilize it somehow.
Or at least they didn’t in Dallas Summer’s world – until a nasty encounter in Central Park shatters that notion forever. Dallas finds his life flipped upside down when a sexy stranger knocks on his door.
This is a review of the series of books: Saved, Seen, and Heard, which should be read in order to savor this world. In this world being an omega is reminiscent of being a sexual trafficked person in our reality. You cannot help but fall in love with the omegas who are strong survivors and the men who save them. This series is about trying to change the world they live in and loving their omegas. I cried throughout this entire series for the horrifi …more
“Come on, let’s get this show on the road. Maybe I’ll leave ravishing you until after I give you a nice warm bath to help with all those aches and pains.” Jared said as he guided Jensen up into the passenger seat.
