The method of how the characters healed and resolved these strains was not as gripping as I would have liked – it seemed a bit too expository more than riveting, although the basic actions and ideas in the resolution were certainly somewhat novel and compelling.

This is the first book of the Huntington Mountain Wolves series and features the Kincaid family. The book is hot and steamy, with rough-around-the-edges Alpha males, inexperienced Omegas, and sticky action. Yes, the book contains MPREG, and the Alpha male uses colorful language. There are twists and turns and tons of fun, what are you waiting for!

Akatora had bedded the younger nin a few times, and he did recognize the lustful movements, sounds and poses when he saw them. He looked the younger man up and down, and gave a low growl in the back of his throat as a confirmation on how he felt about it.
I set the sort-of-almost-packed hospital bag by the front door. The rest of the day I just rolled around while doing my homework. Even though it was senior year the teachers still gave us a little bit of homework.
I’m a huge fan of mpreg. I love seeing guys get knocked up by other guys. I don’t why but I do. I especially love my favorite anime characters get knocked up. But as a budding geneticist heredity obsessed freak I do not like all the mistakes writers and artists make when assigning hair, eye, and skin color. I will be using both mpreg and regular preg. Most of these examples will be Naruto because that is the second biggest result on fanfiction.net when you type mpreg in search.

Only… Erik didn’t want to be claimed. Determined to avoid a forced mating, Erik decides to run – only to find himself in the arms of the Alpha of the neighboring pack. But could happily ever afters exist for an Omega like him…?
Don’t worry about it, Stiles replies, but Derek still winces. Of all the days his meetings run over, of course it’s their anniversary. He grabs his work bag from the floor by his desk and flies out of the office, strategically ducking around the stragglers from the meeting who don’t have places to be and want to chat.
Let’s face it, the goal of NaNoWriMo is to be able to say: I have finished a novel length project. It’s not about writing the next great epic but about crossing that (largely arbitrary) 50k line. It’s a goal, you want to reach it, you have no idea how. Where do you even start? How do you eat this giant 50,000 word literary elephant?!
The calculated River Robinson is an alpha wolf shifter who works as a financial advisor – he’s used to having everything figured out. All of that falls apart after he becomes divorced from a woman he never wanted to be married to in the first place. Following his first visit to a gay bar, he meets an interesting and charismatic man… who is also oddly familiar.
Well lucky for you it’s exactly my cup of tea! I went with post-serum Steve, because pre-serum, ball-of-sickness Steve giving birth sounds like asking for trouble and hospital births around the 1930s/40s were an actual mess so…yeah… Hope you enjoy! -Jenna

Other critics are similar in their generalisations and cite many reasons they have a problem with this genre’s treatment of gender roles. I have tried to organise the following list by topic as much as possible, but the categories frequently overlap.
