“Mpreg Knotting And Of Omegaverse Mpreg”

Adam heard the frustration in the other mans voice telling him to push the egg out. Adam continued to do as he was told, in trying to push this egg into the world. Adam felt the egg starting to come out feeling his opening starting to stretch the fastest it has yet.

In the World blessed by the Wondering Goddess, Three kingdoms try desperately to work together to correct the mistakes their ancestors made a long time ago that caused the greatest upset in history: The Disappearance of the Omegas. With a mysterious Mist kidnapping omegas overnight and erasing the memories of their birth from birth parents, society’s Alpha’s are more than confounded as their kind slowly dwindles out. Will they be able to atone for mistakes from the past? Or will they go extinct?

“Angels do, Dean” Castiel explained with an annoyed voice, “despite whatever vessel they possess. And honestly I do not see what your problem with this is. They will be my children, not yours!” Castiel had chosen than time to turn from Dean, so he missed the wounded look that passed Dean’s face but Sam had not, and by the time Cas turned back Dean’s anger was back.

In a world where omegas are treated like slaves who are supposed to submit to and serve their partner, Braun Etting is different. After years of abuse at the hands of his father and witnessing the abuse his own brother’s (Kell) alpha inflicts on him, Braun wants something different than the path he is destined to take. Enter Tarek Bloom, an Alpha who is kind, caring and compassionate. He’s nothing like Braun was expecting and they slowly build a relationship together. Not all is perfect, Braun challenges societal norms and that puts not only his life in jeopardy but Tarek’s as well. As Kell’s alpha becomes increasingly abusive towards his husband and Braun, nor Tarek, can do nothing to stop it as alphas hold all the power within society.

Niall Horan was left broken hearted by his ex, Josh. He stops working how he used to work before until he met Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber was a liar. He lied about being gay to attract his long time crush, Selena Gomez. He realized that he actually liked Niall and when Straight to The Gay. They fell in love so quickly, so when Niall starts reviving texts from ‘TG’ he’s scared. Everything went downhill. (Jiall/Ziam/Larry). Warnings: Abuse, mentions of rape, boy on boy material, violence, blood, other stuff.

“Th-They’re coming…!” He cried, the baby’s second shoulder squeezing out of him as the egg was pushed further out as well. His mate held his baby and reached behind him, massaging his lower back as he pushed to birth the egg and baby together. Another long hard push and they both dropped a little further, the egg was now crowned to it’s widest point.

And while magpieinthemorning (female, bi, 30-40, Germany) dislikes “romanticizing and normalizing the existing gender oppression in our society” when it comes to A/B/O, she adds: “Disclaimer: it’s possible that the couple of omegaverse fics I read were extreme and not representative of the genre. However, they were widely recommended by members of the fandom (that’s how I found them).”

“One egg for each berry you eat. How many did you eat, anyway?” Joel asked, ignoring the question about how big the eggs were while exploring the growing belly with his hands. He saw a button pop from the man’s shirt and he removed the shirt as well.

Worlds apart from pack life is city-shifter Kade Sinclair. With three rescue dogs, a busy job as a social worker and hours spent volunteering at the local animal shelter, he barely has time to think, let alone pursue a mate. Besides, no boyfriend has ever passed the three-dog litmus test.

At the moment they were taking a well deserved break from all the research. Something that made Sam and Castiel a little nervous. Dean could say he was fine, but they both knew that the mark was affecting him more than he let on. However, they had read every book that Men of Letters had and were left with hoping Charlie found something. Castiel sighed as he sat with the older Winchester trying to understand the show that Dean insisted he watched, something about dragons and nudity.

What this book lacks is an ENDING. Crumb, I hate that. I don’t care if we get set up for the next book, which I assume will be Kell’s story. I’d be a buyer and I am sure I will still be a buyer, even with my frustration with this one. Nothing wraps up in this book. Tarek and Braun’s relationship isn’t totally settled. Tarek still has problems to handle (not saying more in order to not spoil anything for other readers). I could understand if EVERYONE’s issues aren’t settled at the end of this, because they can continue into the next book. This just left me feeling unresolved and disappointed.

“Weird heterosexual sex dynamics are frequently replicated in Omegaverse. Some writers compare in-world prejudices (usually those about omegas) to real-world racism or homophobia, but they do it really carelessly and it ends up being rather racist or homophobic.” (Alice, female, queer/grey-asexual, 18-25, Canada)

“[MPREG] shows the more maternal nurturing side of male characters that often goes understated or ignored due to societal norms. Forces male protagonist to be careful and protective of themselves. Often it can help them bond better with female characters, see things from their perspective.” -Anja

I love this series. I love the characters, the dialogue and storylines. I also love the action and adventure aspect of it as well. This book was no different. It had drama, action, suspense, mystery, romance…it had it all. I loved how the characters interact with each other not just the two MCs, but all of the characters. The only bump I found in the story was when they were discussing how Colin and Ed were discussing how they would take care of the baby. Colin mentioned something about being able to afford the rising health insurance premiums for the baby. Active duty service members and their families do not pay for their insurance. It’s an entitlement with the military. Me working with military insurance is the only reason why that stood out to me. Other than that tiny blip, the story was perfect. The series is a definite must read and I truly recommend it.

Knowing he wanted it out quickly, Adam beared down yet again pushing, “Aaahhh…gawd…..oooohhh…..unnnhhhh….!!!” Adam pushed and groaned feeling the egg getting almost half way out before he had to stop to catch his breathe.

My issue with this story is how it was presented. It’s noted here on Amazon that it’s over 500 pages. Obviously this is completely false. I finished this story in about an hour so I’d say it was under 100 pages. Now I realize the page length on any blurb is up to Amazon getting it right but who’s at fault here, especially when it holds another story. Nothing in the blurb about another story following this one, but I wanted to finish what wasn’t written about Rocco and Kade. I wondered if Kade was now shifting and being more familiar with his wolf. I also wondered what Rocco did in his spare time besides fix up the house and care for the dogs. Is he a house husband? There’s no mention of schooling, training, or what he’ll do outside his pack structure. I pictured Kade working himself to the bone with a job and heavy volunteer work and Rocco sitting around. And I never understood why a pack wolf would fight for leadership when it wasn’t Rocco’s to give. That whole thing came off as a vendetta against Rocco and I kept expecting this defeated wolf to pop up and harass Kade. So yes, the story was short and unfulfilling. It was okay, I wanted more. 3 stars. – Dan’s Wife

”Go boil water,Put this in it and sterilize it!” He demands before handing Grell the instrument. Grell nods and runs off. Sebastian stands by Ciel’s bedside patting away his sweat with a handkerchief and breathing through his own pain silently for what seems like an eternity before Grell finally returns with the sterilized instrument.

Review:  Fated and “instant” mate stories are often drafted with too much of a trope that seems incredibly artificial and unbelievable.  For a short story, this author handles the “insta-mate” phenomenon with some fineness and more credulity than many novels.  While the pairing was a central theme, surrounding setting and plot devices nicely brought out and reinforced the hesitant yet strong connection between the two, yielding for a pretty decent, quick, and enjoyable read.

I went on a mission to bring to the women (and men) of the world the real truth about pregnancy, childbirth or the bit after. I had no intention of glamourising it, fluffing it up or padding it out. The women I have spoken with granted me access into their personal lives and shared their stories with me so I could share them with you. Their experiences shed a new light on pregnancy and childbirth and tell it how it really is. Some will make you laugh, some will make you cry and I guarantee every story is real.

“Keith, maybe we should-ah!” Lance gasped as Keith wrapped his fingers around his shaft, squeezing lightly and causing a bead of white precum to appear in his slit. Keith’s thumb slid up the underbelly of his shaft slowly, making him shiver the entire time until it reached the head of his cock, experimentally dabbing against his slit. “Oh!” Lance moaned in pleasure, body jerking sideways as much as he could in response to Keith’s thumb pressing against his sensitive head. Keith’s eyes were locked onto his dick as he moved his hands up and down slowly and tentatively, thumb scaling the length of his cock and rubbing against the head at the end of each stroke. He pushed the foreskin up against the tip before dragging it back down, causing Lance to buck his hips and groan.

In the end, I felt there was a cliffhanger. With how the author ended it I felt like someone hit me in the face with a wooden paddle; with WTF on the tip of my tongue. I can only assume Rian is going to help Taryn in his own way with the Pack War. I guess I will have to see if the next book in the series goes in direction. If so I will give it a try; if not then unfortunately I must say I cannot go further with this series.

The trope spread rapidly beyond SPN and J2, and by 2013 A/B/O was so saturated within fandom culture that Kristina Busse included the essay “Pon Farr, Mpreg, and the rise of the Omegaverse” in Anne Jamison’s fanfiction academic anthology, Fic: Why Fanfiction Is Taking Over the World.

He tries not to be nervous as he drives home. He didn’t forget it’s their anniversary; he stopped this morning and got a really nice bottle of wine for them to share. It’s not him. It’s Stiles – he’s been distracted lately, lost in his own thoughts. He’s been secretive with his phone, and when Derek borrowed his computer, the browsing history had been wiped clean. He really truly believes that Stiles isn’t cheating on him, but he’s worried. Things have been better since Stiles went back to work, but everything’s just…different now, and Derek knows he can’t expect any less, but knowing that doesn’t make things easier.

Harking back to merlenhiver’s quote from the introduction, we can see heteronormative notions expressed in her praise of “The Alpha as the ideal male – protective, fierce yet caring, driven mad by his desire for the Omega, and ultimately a provider for his family.”
